We reached out to Christian to see what he could do to improve our slippery pool deck. He did a great job at explaining what he could do to fix it. We scheduled the work and then he got to work with his crew! Everything was done with perfection, and all the dust was contained neatly. There was literally no mess! The pool deck turned out absolutely GORGEOUS! And it’s not slippery anymore. We were so happy with it that we then had him do our garage floor! Truly, a great experience from start to finish!!!!!!!!

I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Christian and Armadillo Concrete Resurfacing. Initially, everything seemed professional, and the quotes were competitive. However, the problems began shortly after hiring them.

First and foremost, they installed contaminated concrete.
Christian said he would fix the issue . He never responded back to my calls, text or emails.

The most alarming issue arose when I decided to double-check the contractor's license due to the growing concerns about the problem . To my shock, I discovered that Armadillo concrete Resurfacing was using a license from a company called Central Valley Concrete. The owner of Central Valley Concrete will be reporting Christian for using his license. This is not just unethical but illegal, I have suffered a considerable financial loss that now needs further attention from a legitimate, licensed professional.

Please, if you're considering hiring Armadillo Concrete Resurfacing Verify licenses and credentials thoroughly. My experience with Christian has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

After this earlier post, the garage epoxy finish they installed started to peel and crack in 2 months . Christian didn't know what happened and sent me a text that he would reimburse the payment. He doesn't respond to my calls or voicemail. He has been telling me " I'm a man of my words", unfortunately he is just a man that can talk but with poor skills. He can come up with all the excuses and give you empty promises. I will refrain myself from leaving comments on the concrete replacement he did with this project. Get the hint.... He will tell you his experience and show you photos, don't fall for his pleasant manner, he doesn't have the skills to back his words. You will like to be disappointed!

I was having a hard time, finding a contractor, that specialized in concrete and landscaping. I came across Armadillo Concrete Resurfacing, I was thrown off by one bad review in particular and it made me question and was curious to find out what happened since all of the other reviews are great! I called him and asked him directly why did he have a negative review… he explained to me the situation sending me proof that client lied on the rating i then decided to move forward with him. I felt he was very genuine and honest, Long story short I’m very happy for the work Chris and his crew did at my home. This is our second time hiring Black Diamond—after they crushed it on our front yard, we brought them back for the backyard, and they did not disappoint.

We started with a mess: overgrown trees, broken furniture, and leftover construction junk. They completely transformed it—removed everything, replaced our old cracked brick wall with a new fence (even coordinated with all the neighbors), and swapped out the concrete and lawn for beautiful pavers and fresh grass.

They also built us an awesome BBQ area with a gas line, sink, power, raised seating—the works. Even added an outdoor audio system.

Ron was our project manager both times and he’s the reason we keep coming back. Super organized, great communication, and just on top of everything. We’ve recommended Black Diamond to friends and will keep doing it—they’re that good.

Brandon took fresh measurements and asked us what size and stain color we wanted. He told us they’d make a custom deck just for us. Two weeks later, they delivered it and it fit perfectly. The craftsmanship is excellent and the materials are top quality. The delivery and installation went super fast. We highly recommend this deck builder to anyone in Pasadena.
