Constraction reviews in Pasadena, California

Green Ladder replaced our roof several months ago. There are several reasons for a stellar review. Michael Padilla was the company's representative; he was always available and responsive; he met us at the warehouse to help us choose materials; and he was an effective liaison with the crew. We needed the work done before we were to have guests staying with us, and when the job took longer than expected he made sure it nevertheless got finished barely in time.

This morning we experienced a problem -- a leak began dripping onto us in our bed! Micheal got Eric Ramirez on the case, and Eric had someone out to the house within a few hours. As it turns out, it was not a roof leak, but was coming from several cracks and open spaces in our chimney. Eric authorized Ervin to immediately do the caulking to seal the problem areas. Moreover, he authorized him to do the same repair to a second chimney that is a suspected leaker. And he did this at no charge -- the leak was not due to any failure on Green Ladder's part, so I would have been happy to pay for the repair. So Green Ladder appears to not only stand behind their work, they also do more than that. That's really superb customer service. Gratitude to Eric! As well as to Michael and Ervin.

And finally there's one more thing: About 18 months before Green Ladder replaced the roof, I had engaged another local roofing company to do a roof repair because of the same leak. I'll write a separate review of that company -- and it will be scathing. I won't elaborate here, but the short version is that when his repair didn't solve the problem his quote for a full roof replacement was almost exactly twice as much as Green Ladder charged, and he refunded none of the repair charge.

In short, Green Ladder has been great, and looks even better when contrasted with my terrible experience with the other roofer.

I had a great experience with this roofing company. My experience was great from start to finish. From making the appointment to them coming out and fixing the issue. I appreciated an actual scheduled time instead of a 1-3 hour time gap the other roofing companies were giving me for their arrival. I also really liked that they were organized as they worked and they kept the mess to a minimal and fully cleaned their materials after. A few days later Eric called me to follow up on the services they provided and he was professional and very receptive to what I had to say. I definitely recommend them.

Green Ladder expertly diagnosed my flat roof leak problems and offered common-sense solutions. Their work was efficient and highly professional. They gave an excellent referral for solar panel removal. Michael's communication was prompt, clear and friendly. Definitely get a bid from Green Ladder.

From the very first phone call, they made things easy. I was worried about the price, but they helped me find a financing plan that fit right into my budget. Eric kept in touch the whole time and made sure I always knew what was going on. The roof looks amazing now, and I can’t stop recommending them to my friends

Do not ever give them your phone number they will harass you endlessly with spam calls. I'm sure they sell your information.

I was a little skeptical of SN Design Remodeling Inc at first because they didn't have many reviews. Turns out this is a new location and just starting to operate in Pasadena. I am so glad I gave them a chance, the team is fantastic and took the time to understand my roofing needs before presenting me with options. They do great work and will make sure you're completely satisfied with it. Definitely recommend 😚

Very professional team. They explained everything clearly and finished the job faster than expected. I’m really happy with the results.

Great experience with Villacant Construction Inc. They were on time, worked clean, and the quality came out really good. Definitely recommend them.

Francisco is the best. Fair prices, great work, and a deep bench of highly qualified tradesmen. He built my new house from scratch and did renovations on another property. I have zero issues referring him to my friends for any size project - that includes commercial & residential, handyman work, and landscaping/hard scape....he does it all.

Just want to give a shout out to the stellar workers at Villicant Construction. When we lost our home of 38 years in the Eaton Fire it was hard to believe that it could ever be restored to its former beauty. The landscaping and yard was so lovely that all three of our children chose to have their marriage ceremonies there. I am so grateful to the owners and employees of Villicant Construction Inc. They have given us hope that we will see our beautiful Altadena property restored.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new pergola! The craftsmanship is outstanding — every line, angle, and wood cut is precise and perfectly executed. The structure feels solid and beautifully designed, and it complements our home perfectly.

From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and attentive to detail. They listened carefully to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and excellent service.
