I called for an estimate. I never received a written estimate. The owner of company Mike says he doesn't need a written estimate because if you are not happy with the job you don't have to pay. He pushes ServiceMaster Restore contracts on you that require "A Waiver of Right to Cancel" and also a lien. He says he won't do the plumbing without the ServiceMaster Restore services. I asked for plumbing services. He also hires kids out of high school who don't wear the proper safety equipment and do not follow OSHA guidelines. He yells at customers and is unprofessional. The workers do sloppy work--don't clean up after themselves. Check all the work done and you will find many errors.

I had to "fire" this company over the phone after they dropped the ball, failed to follow up, and didn't provide timely updates.

After initial visit, the plumber said he would need to get the parts. I did not hear back for 3 days. I called the office and asked for status. Office said that plumber could not find parts.

Exasperated, I asked, what is my next step? How can I solve my problem? Manager/supervisor called me back and asked me to check local showroom for replacement. I called back with the part number for replacement, and they did not put my job on the calendar or contact me to schedule appointment.

Meanwhile, 10 days had elapsed from first visit.

DON'T USE F & M Plumbing. We had them come out to clear kitchen sink drainage problem--run a snake and stop faucet leak. We had beautiful silver aluminum pipes a brand new sink and faucet, from a couple of years ago. They charged me $225.00 to my credit card which I paid. Their guy installed these hideous looking black pipes saying, they "were afraid if they ran a snake the pipes would burst". In addition, they were asked to stop a faucet leak. Their guy was paid additional cash money, which he took and put in his pocket to get the job done. He removed a $185.00 faucet, left with it, and came back a few minutes later and installed/replaced it with a $19.99 faucet. To my surprise as I arrived home the guy received a call saying it was time for them to go (while I was standing there looking at him working on the faucet hose under the sink)! He rushed through putting on the faucet hose, never told me what happened to my faucet he replaced, and left and never came back. On numerous occasions I reached out and spoke to Kevin, who said he was leaving on vacation, but would talk to Mike about what they could do to take care of it...only to call back to hear it was outside of the warranty period and their guy didn't change the faucet or work on the faucet hose. As of this day, the leak was never repaired, the faucet hose is gushing water out of control, the leak has caused major damage to our unit (walls under the sink busted, cabinetry and countertop collapsed, mold). How can all three of us present not see their guy's poor quality of work? Go figure! DISHONEST DO NOT USE F & M Plumbing Period. Unfortunately, I had to rate 1 star because 0 was not an option.

Yesterday morning I called Mike at F & M Plumbing around 9 AM. I discovered a drip from a leaking pipe from the ceiling of my garage underneath the master bathroom. Within two hours of my call, Santiago and Jose arrived at my house and were able to quickly assess two leaks in the pipe above my garage ceiling and within an hour or so, both leaks were repaired and afterward they did a really nice job of cleaning up. They were very professional and pleasant from start to finish. Mike was very communicative and helpful and I think the cost for this job was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend F & M and I will use them again for any plumbing needs.

Excellent company and representatives! Today Edson came because there's a leak in our condo building. He was so friendly, polite, and knowledgeable (and he wore shoe covers, which I really appreciate!). He showed me everything he was checking out and explained the tools he was using. Very interesting! Didn't know there was a "water mirror." Thank you, F&M, and thank you, Edson!

UPDATE: Edson returned to fix the water damage and did an amazing job. He was absolutely METICULOUS about prepping the area where he worked to make sure the rest of my condo stayed clean! This guy is great! Ask for Edson the next time you need a certified water technician!
