Did not have to wait long for a return phone call! Scheduled visit with technician within 48 hours, very reasonable period of time, reminder texts sent twice, a phone call from the technician telling me approximately arrival time. Technician was on time and within the proposed two hour window. Technician Steve was polite and interested while he had me describe the problem-the he got right to work! He even vacuumed the inside of the dryer. The broken parts were offered to me and the worn areas explained. Dryer works great now! I wish I could give 10 stars! Needed repair service for Sub Zero refrigerator in the East Bay. Had the best experience with Hi-5 Appliance Repair. Steve promptly returned my inquiry call. Appointment scheduled and follow-up reminders come by way of text and email. Also, received a call in advance of appointment to let me know that he was 15 minutes away. Steve diagnosed misalignment of freezer drawer that was causing ice to form. He exercised great finesse in “tweaking” and making fine adjustments. The drawer now slides smoothly and effortlessly. Gasket fits as intended. Freezer is now quiet. Steve is pleasant, knowledgeable, highly competent. He exercised great care and tidiness as he worked. Cost is reasonable. We understand that he works on all appliance brands. He’s definitely our new go-to for appliance repair. Very pleased!

Steve was prompt and was very quick to diagnose that our issue was a blocked ice maker from all our ice packs. We felt stupid but it was worth it to get rid of the noise! Would definitely use Hi-5 again.

Have a Miele built-in fridge that was leaking water. Steve established credibility with an initial call, gave me up front pricing (wish it was a bit better but could have been worse), set up an appointment (he's busy so expect availability 1-1.5 weeks out), arrived during the designated window, and knew exactly how to take apart the fridge to quickly fix the issue. He's knowledgable, has good bedside manner, and works quickly. Highly recommended!

I called Hi-5 and the first thing I noticed, was they actually took the time to listen to me Steve not only went through multiple reasons why my washing machine wasn’t working and had me send a video of the grinding noise. He wasn’t able to troubleshoot from that angle and came to the house yesterday and I could not be happier with this company. The visit was not in my favor, the transmission had failed, and I ordered a new one this morning. I put Steve’s company, head and shoulders above others, because of his “old-school manners “he immediately addressed the problem, explained The working parts, what they should, and shouldn’t look like, and what they should, and shouldn’t sound like. Very, very thorough. I now know if I have any issues with any of my home appliances. I have Hi-5 appliance repair on speed dial I give them two thumbs up and 10 stars.
