The very professional and friendly team advised me on the best location for my needs and couldn't believe how efficient the guys were. I will use them in the future! Well done.

I recently found myself needing to replace my HVAC system at my home. The team arrived promptly, was friendly, and did a professional job. Very happy with the work they did and I would highly recommend them.

Took a while to write review. Rcvd quote on 06/30/2022 for HVAC install with an agreed price. They showed up and spent the next 30 min standing around talking on the phone and then they said the second unit was measured incorrectly and they took off. After rescheduling, they came back and once again said they couldn’t install the second unit because they would have to cut into the drywall. At least this time I believe they installed the main HVAC unit . However I believe the installers forgot to add the cooling solution because there was no cold air blowing when turned on. So after calling again, the initial person we spoke to who gave us the initial quote came by and added the cooling solution and then we were finally getting cold air. He blamed a leak and to call him again tomorrow to reschedule installing the second unit. What happened next was interesting. He never responded to any messages and after 3 attempts I had to give up.

George has been excellent. Very professional and super knowledgeable. They delivered all their promises on time. Super happy with all the work. I would highly recommend him and his company!!

The communication throughout was excellent. Very professional and friendly. We used them to install an AC unit in our home. He explained everything he was doing, reassured me everything was safe, and then took a look at a few other updates I was hoping to do in the future. I am a very satisfied customer, I will definitely use them again.

After four years, the a/c finally stopped working and George stopped by several times to remedy the issue. To my surprise, the customer service was top notch considering the high demand during a hot season. Not only is he a professional, he's courteous and polite. Quality customer service speaks volumes about a business, and I'm glad I chose GVK.

I wouldn't trust another company for my HVAC system or water heater, and he explains everything in detail. AND his prices are better than the others. They never "sell," they help you with your needs. Period.

Had an issue with newly-installed HVAC not working, texted George at 7pm, he called me minutes later and said he’d be out the next day. He was (on time) and quickly diagnosed & fixed the problem. This exemplifies the benefit of working with a family-owned small business.

George and his team have been our go to HVAC company for over 7 years. They are great: prompt, efficient, economical, honest. I trust George with the HVAC needs at all of our places.

Every aspect of the job went very well: from the initial phone call to the bid process and then the installation of our new a/c. George is a pleasure to transact with. The job took longer than anticipated but his brother-in-law and nephew stayed quite late to finish, no questions asked--which we appreciated. They were both very considerate of our home, cleaned the areas they worked in and removed all the waste. I didn't have to do a thing!
I was happy to contract with a local family business that takes pride in the job and providing service to their customers.

I contacted this company to fix my heater because of their excellent review unfortunately I made a huge mistake. They came to my house and spent few minutes on my heating system and said that my system need to be replaced and cost few thousand dollars. They request $65 for 2 minutes and left. They request the money twice in next few hours and I paid.

I called another company and they came to fix my system in one minute, just turn on the switch with No Cost.

I request refund because GVK Heating did not do anything and gave me wrong information. They just do not refund me and give me so many reasons such as other company's invoice, fixing details and blablabla.

Poor quality, wrong information, not professional and bad attitudes makes GVK Heating a company that I can never trust and never use them.

George accepted my job that was a bit different than your typical home heating/AC installation. I have a 5 story Bed & Breakfast that needed a combination of new mini-split installs combined with older mini-split relocations. He agreed to take the job. He also made a great effort to work with me and the schedule I had as a 5 room B&B. He allowed the business to continue and did a great job allowing us to stay open the majority of the time, while he did the installs.

Near the end of the job George and I had some challenges agreeing on the original contract. We were both not agreeing with each other as to what the initial expectations were. In the end, he finished the job to the best of his abilities and left without his final payment. There was a bit of upset on both sides of this at that point.

Four of the five systems worked well, but I had to bring in another company to get the last one working. I'm sure my ego prevented me from calling on George the way we left things.

Several months later after the initial upset, I offered George the difference of the remaining bill I owed for the initial job minus the cost to get the 5th mini-split working with the other company. He politely declined and offered me well wishes and the best of luck. This was despite our disagreement and him not getting his last payment.

This review is more about how George handles problems than how he installs heating/AC. From the number of positive reviews it's easy to see he and his crew are very good at what they do. From my perspective, they did the best they could with my job. It was not fully what I expected, but I'm sure he could say the same about me and my expectations.

In the end, I received a job that I was happy to pay the price I paid for it. I would have been upset if I had to pay full price, but George accepted that and moved on as well.

If there was anything I learned from the situation and I hope George did too was to clearly outline the contract for what the expectations were as that was a little unclear on both of our sides.

I wish George and GVK the best of luck and would refer them to anyone for a standard residential job. I would also recommend them for a commercial job having learned from our experience. It's not often you end up parting ways the way we did and still have good feelings for that company.

This company was fantastic. They replaced a few old wall furnaces and check all the old flex gas supply lines at our 8 unit apartment complex. They coordinated the entry and inspections with the tenants. They were prompt, clean and inexpensive. I will use them again. George was a pleasure to work with. Quoted a price and stuck to it. No up sell No well we found this and that it's now $$$. Great company.

They performed the first AC installation on my 30-year-old home. There were some electrical issues with the original pre-installed AC wiring. The folks at GVK were relentless in figuring the problem out and did not quit until the issue was solved. When it became apparent that the problem was out of their expertise, they took responsibility and compensated the cost of an electrician. This level of professionalism and accountability is rare in many industries. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

George has been my HVAC guy for a long time now and has installed 4 systems for friends and family. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and honest, as are his employees. He wants to meet your needs at a good price and he is a pleasure to work with.

George was awesome. Very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we were happy with our setup. Came out multiple times to tweak our vents and get everything just right. Also, while installing our heater in our attic space, one of the workers put a foot through our ceiling! George took care of it. Had someone to patch and fix the drywall the NEXT DAY. Then they textured and painted, looks like nothing ever happened. It has been roughly 18 months and he has since come out to check our system, perform routine maintenance and even helped me with the drainage from our A/C unit so that it is routed into our bushes. So easy and accommodating to work with.

George is the best. He won our business among several bids four years ago to install AC in our house. He has great customer service, answers all of your questions (without getting annoyed like many people do when the customer asks basic questions), and offered good recommendations for our home. Writing this review 4 years later gives me more confidence that his recommendation for our system was a good one.
We use our A/C often, and didn't have any issues with the system until last week. We called George in the morning and he was at our house within a few hours on a hot day. It was a "simple fix" that he took care of quickly. We were impressed with his responsiveness and great service. It's great to know he extends his service beyond the initial installation to ensure his customers are happy with the units he recommended and installed.

George and his team are very professional! They know their trade extremely well. He was able to help troubleshoot our AC problem right away and fix it on the same visit. The "other company" actually recommended that I find an electrician to repair the electrical panel... I am so glad that we found George and he was able to fit us in his busy schedule. Our old house was in dire need of a new HVAC system. I got eight different quotes from small companies to large companies. George from GVK was very informative and honest. I decided to go with him. We got a 5 ton variable system with all new ducting. It was installed in two days. Everything in construction has its hiccups but George was quick to find solutions and remedy any problems. He has come back twice since installation to make adjustments and make sure everything is running well. He has A+ customer service. He had very competitive pricing. Our system is working well and is more efficient than I thought it would be considering our high ceilings and spread out home with lots of windows. I am so happy to have used GVK heating and air and recommend him to anyone shopping around.
