Always a good experience with Sierra Pacific. Their service tech Christian communicated clearly the issues he found with our solar system and fixed it the same day. He seemed genuinely concerned and honest about things to watch out for to avoid future problems.

Sierra Pacific installed a solar pool heating system for my new pool in April of 2021. Within the 1 year warranty, I had 1 warranty issue where a plastic water pipe they installed on my roof had cracked. They repaired it under warranty. Since then I've had the same pipe crack 2 more times. I made the repairs myself. One of the pipes cracked last month. While I was on the roof, I inspected the entire solar heating system. I noticed that they never installed any kind of insulating material between the system and my roof. Due to the water flow and vibration/movement of the system on my roof, certain areas of their equipment is actually wearing into the composition roofing material. I called Sierra Pacific to find out if they could come take a look at the damage that their system is causing to my roof and make sure everything was installed correctly. They told me they can't even come look at it unless I agree to pay them a service fee. They sent a service technician to my house on 8/16/23. Standing in my driveway, the tech told me he will not even look at the system unless I paid him right then and there. I handed him $200 cash, then he proceeded to go on my roof to inspect. He told me that the system should have had insulating material installed between the system and my roof, but they didn't install it. He said they would get back to me with a date to make the repairs necessary. Today is 9/24/23, and I have yet to receive a phone call or email since the day I paid them for their "service call". I highly recommend you do not do business with this shady company. Sierra Pacific is unprofessional, has very poor customer service, and they obviously don't care about doing quality work.

Water tasted bad. Derrek from Sierra Pacific tested the water and found it high in chlorine. Costco had a promo discount for a reverse osmosis/ water softener through Sierra Pacific. Derrek and Trevor installed the system in a day. They answered our questions and did a great job! I ave acid reflux and the new water system has helped so much! Thanks Derrek and Trevor.

Tanner was the lead technician for my pool solar install and he and his crew were awesome! Tanner was professional, polite, knowledgeable and thorough. His communication throughout the install was on-point and very appreciated.

Around the beginning of June 2022 I had Sierra Pacific install solar pool heater panels. Every year after that I have had to get the panels repaired. I followed all instructions that were provided to prevent winter freezes, yet I still get pin holes in the tubes. If this is the quality of product that Sierra Pacific is providing its customers, its hard to understand why they are still in business. I will not be recommending anybody to Sierra Pacific for their pool solar heating panels.

I understand that you now realize that several of your installations were with the inferior/defective products such as what was installed on my home. Now that you know the products you installed were defective not lasting more than two years, what is your plan to rectify the problem.

Since my last posting on July 15th 2025 my solar pool panels have sprung three more leaks. Just another reason not to expect a quality product from Sierra Pacific. These are FAFCO Solar Pool Heating panels. You would think that paying over $8K they would last more than a couple years. Save your money.

I noticed in your response that you say that you are willing to work with me, but you leave no direct contact information. Please provide direct contact information to an actual person who is authorized to assist me, not AI, and I'll be happy to talk to you about you replacing these faulty panels. They sprung another leak today, just as I was about to shut them down for the winter.

My service technician, Christian, completed the job timely & professionally. He was very knowledgeable and explained the work he did and provided appropriate recommendations for additional suggested repairs with no pressure to schedule. He was very helpful and kind.

A very loud "shout out" to Tony Fernandez, the Tech from Sierra Pacific who diagnosed a critical issue with our HVAC system and took a proactive lead in scheduling and performing all aspects of the repair. High level of technical knowledge and skill. Most of all, Tony ensured timely closure and our complete understanding of all work performed.

Garet and Tommy did an excellent job installing our HVAC system. They were friendly, professional and communicated with us regularly. I would highly recommend Sierra Pacific and this crew.

Sebastian and Brian came over. My unit was not working. They found a collapsed ducting that had to replace. They had excellent customer service skills. They shared with me the problem and told me exactly what needed to be done. They were extremely friendly and polite. I was extremely pleased with their work. I will definitely ask for them the next time I have a problem.

Replacement of my HVAC system went smoothly and my new system and thermostat and whole house fan all work great. Gab and Blake did a fantastic job! They were professional and respectful of my property and protected my floor and carpets. And cleaned up everything after they were done. I would highly recommend this company and feel that all was done excellently.

We're very happy with the service we received from Alfredo, our electrician. He checked and rechecked every socket multiple times knowing that safety was a huge concern of mine. He also answered all of my questions in detail, which I asked multiple times. He was very pleasant and respectful of the property. Hopefully, we'll never need an electrician again but I will definitely request Alfredo if we do. Thank you again!

Update: Alfredo returned today for a second look at the outlets he repaired during his first visit and to check a couple of rooms that were previously inaccessible. He found two more outlets that needed updating! I'm so happy with the service and now feel completely safe using my outlets. Thank you, Alfredo, for your diligent work and for being so nice! We really appreciate you!

Had our regular solar turn down service today. As always, Sierra Pacific does quality work! I was helped today by Christian and Joel who provided excellent customer service and made sure we got the best deal for our needed preventative maintenance and in repairing a broken item. Both men were professional, courteous, and efficient. The service was great!

Christian and Nick came to winterize my solar pool system. They called when they were on their way and arrived on time. Both were very professional and explained the process beforehand. Christian was very detailed and reviewed with pictures a few repairs that were needed. I appreciated that he advised which repairs should be done right away and which could wait. This really helped with the costs. Christian even followed up with me afterwards making sure I had received my receipt by email. Very pleased by the professional service both provided. Thank you.

Anthony came out to diagnose and give us an estimate for the repair of our pool's solar leak. He was so helpful, explained what was needed in detail, and even remembered that he was the technician that came out last time and showed genuine concern for us and that he wanted to give us the best price he possibly could. Anthony's show of genuine caring for us and wanting to give us the best service is what sold us to move ahead with the work! Thank you Anthony and Sierra Pacific for being the BEST!

Christian came to do a pool solar warranty service repair. He came on time and was extremely polite. He had a great working knowledge of the system and explained everything in a way that made sense. I would highly recommend him as a service technician.

Working with Chris Siberman was an absolute pleasure. He was thorough, detail-oriented, and communicated every step of the process clearly. Chris took the time to explain the work performed, review each concern he found, and even went above and beyond by sharing photos and drawing simple diagrams to illustrate gaps in our system compared to manufacturer recommendations.

What stood out most was his ability to organize everything into a detailed work list, arranging items by priority so we could make informed decisions. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for doing the job right far exceeded our expectations.

I am appalled by this company's technician. There is a chance they were trying to take advantage of my elderly mother.
They quoted her for a 600 SQ FT mobile home a heat pump system and installation for 21k. The unit was a 30k BTU heat pump system. The recommended BTU for 600 SQ FT is 12k-14k BTU. 15K if there are high ceilings or temp extremes. A 30k BTU unit is entirely unreasonable for that dwelling. Worse yet the duct work for the unit is labeled clearly stating the maximum capacity for the building is 26k BTU. With again clear warning anything over that will cause damage to the buildings ducts.
So not only is that recommended system unreasonably over powered for the needs of the dwelling, it would cost more than is needed AND it would cause damage to the home if such a system was installed. The quote did not include replacement duct work to match the rating of new system. Just the unit, installation, and removing of old equipment.
I truly hope the technician is just under trained and not attempting to over sell to a elderly overwhelmed woman. But even as a layperson with a little bit of research I can unequivocally state that quote is inappropriate for the needs to be met. I will be ensuring we find a company that wants match our needs and not try to sell us more.

I find myself not surprised by the owners response to my review. Lack of accountability for such an "error". With no excuse for attempting to sell a unit that would cause damage to the home. There is no way to reason that a heat pump unit with higher BTU output than the duct work of the home can handle as noted by manufacturer is an acceptable system.
Ive since had 4 other AC companies come out and offer much cheaper quotes by half. 2 of which are looking to find solutions that include current system.

Sierra Pacific is the best. They keep my system running at peak efficiency. Their repairman was a pro and got our system ready to finish the winter and go right into spring. I recommend them to all of my friends.
