We wanted/needed to upgrade our electrical panel from 100 amps to 200 amps, add a plug to connect our new generator and install an electric vehicle charging plug. I called many electricians. Some just wanted photos to give a rough estimate (Which will not give you the best idea on how much it will be. Some estimates were way too low and we knew it was a big job and it wouldn't be sufficient to get what we wanted or it was way too high.) Other electricians came over but did not get back to me. When I called Potter Electric Inc. Jason answered the call, I explained what we needed and he was able to come over to see exactly what we wanted the very same day. I received an estimate that night. After meeting Jason, receiving the estimate (which was a very fair price for such a high ticket upgrade) and finding out that he had worked at my neighbor's place. I knew he was the right choice. Jason's crew Jamie/Caleb did a great job. We got everything we wanted and are satisfied with all the work they did. I would definitely recommend Potter Electric Inc. for all your electrical needs.

The Inland Empire's finest licensed electrician. Jason will shoot you straight. His loyal crew had to go three times to the store to get the right LED light fixtures -- not their fault; the stuff from the store was faulty. It took them a little longer but Jason honored his price. Great guy. I've used him for over 10 years.

Jason, Jaimie, and their crew our hands-down, the best vendor I worked with when remodeling our Wrightwood cabin (well, my painter was great too). From the day I met them, through the quote process, and after installation, they continued to impress me with their honesty and follow through. I think it’s natural to feel skeptical about hiring somebody in a field you know nothing about. There is a tendency to be taken advantage of. I NEVER Felt that way! They would give me options on which direction to go (pros and cons of economical versus high-end choices) and never pressured me. I hired them to pretty much do a rewire of the whole house, including hardwiring all new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, plus updated the electrical panel. They always showed up, worked hard, and stayed on budget. How many contractors can you say that about? They even turned all the screws to 12 o’clock. The OCD side of me appreciates that level of attention to detail. No, they did not pay me for this endorsement. You would think so, because I am singing their praises, but they truly deserve it and you would never be disappointed in hiring Potter Electric.

Despite the successful physical completion of the work in April 2025, I have yet to receive any documentation or substantive communication regarding the finalization and closure of the requisite building permit for this scope of work.

Potter Electric deserves an A+! We had four dangerously old wall outlets that needed to be replaced, and Potter Electric’s reviews were great. I called for an appointment, and it was just a couple of day away.

Jamey, the technician, arrived and was so nice and professional, and he knew exactly what needed to be done. We also asked him to cover a hole where an outlet had been, which he did perfectly, and he even checked on the ceiling light in the laundry room.
