They're contracted by AHS and the technician (Bassem) who came to do the job in my unit, did pretty good. He was very professional and respectful and know how to make customer happy. I'm very satisfied how he accomplished everything on time.

City First Electric was sent out through our home warranty program to look at a broken ceiling fan. The technician was able to repair the light fixture attached to the fan that wasn't working. Previous company we reached out to said they were not able to fix it and recommended replacing it. Everything works in good order now. Thanks!

Mobile home wiring can be challenging. I had 2 other electricians assess my power outage on one half of the house. The first 2 technicians bailed when they realized the issue was probably under the home in a 3’ high crawl space that there is no amount of money that would convince me to go under there because ..spiders. Angel with City figured it all out and did the deed in 45 minutes solving a very inconvenient problem for 2 disabled seniors! I have found a new electrical company for any job in the future! Excellent service!

Called them to help my parents with an issue at home. Their response and arrival was fast. They were very professional, knowledgeable and took the necessary precautions for COVID. They worked fast and there hasn't been an issue ever since. Will definitely recommend and call them again.

I will report this company to the BBB for not fulfilling its contract and pocketing the money paid by American Home Shields to complete my electrical needs. City First Electric refuses to return to complete work authorized by AHS. The company is scamming folks along with AHS they diagnose the problem and submit the claim to AHS and both companies pocket money leaving the homeowner out of money for deductible and the cost of the warranty plan and then hiring a real electrician to complete the job.

I had an issue with my electrical breaker on a rental property. Ivan was so helpful and stellar in organizing a new one since I live in Canada. His staff of trained electricians replaced it with ease and Ivan was informing me the whole way. I cannot give them only 5 stars they truly need 10 stars.

These people are shady and cannot be trusted, they will steal your money! Do not do business with them. There price is inflated and they change up the conversation and a price that u agreed on after they have both mutually agreed on it. Our home warranty sent them and they gave us a hiked up price for the fan remote. Then we decided last minute that we will also install two fans with them. They sent an invoice with the price for the remote. When we told them we planned on installing new fans next month, they decided to double the price to charge us additional 125 to install our remote control despite the fact our warranty already paid them 75 bucks for this.
Luciano the electrician went and lied about the conversation we had with him regarding the additional fans and Ashraf Jaara the guy who sent us the invoice said that he will double our price because they are not including what our insurance paid them.
Mind you, they already sent a work order completion to the insurance company when they have not even completed the work, so they lied about that when the order wasn’t even started yet. We know this because we received a completed order note from our warranty company. Will definitely follow this up! But stay away from them. There are way too many options for anyone to be stuck with this company. I got so upset and it takes me a while to even lose my Cool with anyone but this Ashraf guy kept telling one lie after the other and justifying his inflated price.

Unfortunately this company was assigned to me by my home warranty company. Horrible non existent customer service. The technician was rude and unprofessional and did not fix any of my issues. He stated that he needed to obtain an approval for some of the work that needed to be done. He never obtained said approval and instead he simply closed my work order. I called several time to follow up and the people in the office were even less competent than the technician.
At the end of the day, none of my requests were completed and this company’s simply wasted my time and money for a service call.
Please save yourself and use ANYONE ELSE!!!

This company works for warranty companies. He rigged the wiring and 3 weeks later the same thing happens. But would not come back out to fix it. I change warranty companies and they send the same guy out. He says now the problem is in the wall there’s a wire neutral open. He said he can’t fix it and he was supposed to fix my thermostat but he didn’t. So I have a guy come out tear the wall out to get to the wire this Luciano says was open. He was wrong again and won’t come out. But got paid to rip me off. Don’t let him rip you off get someone else or he will cost you more and doesn’t care. Just wants money and go

I was referred to City Electric by my home warranty American Shield . My technician Abdalla Ellail was very professional and knowledgeable . He arrived promptly and provided great customer. I would recommend to anyone needing electrical work . Great service .

This company was employed as a "Home Warranty" service. They came to my home and diagnosed the issue. Then instead of forwarding the information to the home warranty for approval, they simply denied the claim themselves!!!! Horrible service! After I contacted this company and spoke to the telephone assistant, who was rude and unhelpful I asked to speak to a supervisor. She immediately told me they were too busy, I again requested to speak with a supervisor. I was then placed on hold and subsequently hung up on!!! Really, this is the bottom of the barrel, look for another company who values and respects their customers!!

I don’t recommend this company my home warranty sent them to my home. After reviewing the issue he charged me an additional $250 because he stayed the job would take hours to complete. He was gone in 24 minutes. The technician wrote in the report he removed dry wall, ran new wires, and gave a new outlet. I have cameras in my home that shows none of that took place. Go with a company that won’t scam you because this one will.

I have used City First Electric twice now through my home warranty. They have been outstanding! The technicians are knowledgeable and do not mark up the price for the job. I appreciate their honesty and timeliness to complete the job effectively and efficiently was what brought me peace of mind to use City First Electric in the future.

City First Electric took care of my home’s electrical issue the first time. It was repaired same day and even gave me pointers on how to prevent the issue from happening again. I’ll definitely recommend City First Electric to its future customers.

Called at 9am to request a technician to come out to my home and take a look at an issue I had been dealing with for a couple of days. Angel showed up at around 10am and was able to successfully identify the issue and make the necessary repairs in a matter of minutes! They’re honest and very knowledgeable, I was impressed by their overall service and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. I hope to never have electrical issues again but if I do, I know who to call!!

Awful experience. 0/10. Would never willingly choose this company. We were forced to use City First Electric because of our home warranty provider. Not only did their employee (Angel) show up and make the issue WORSE leaving us with less power than when they showed up, they blatantly lied in their report. Our warranty provider said they aren’t supposed to make the issue worse and to contact City First Electric’s management team in order for them to at least get us back to where we were before they showed up. After being hung up on multiple times from “supervisors”, we decided a negative review is warranted.

It's been over 2 weeks and I have not received a call back. They were called out by American Home Shield and they could not figure out what the problem was. I asked them to call me, but the technician would not call me, I am the landlord and there is a tenant in the house. The technician is trying to say something permitted by SCE is overloaded. Their 888 phone number doesn't connect. I have been trying for days and the number won't connect. I tried from my cell phone and a virtual phone and couldn't get through.

Technician would come very late and would hurry to another level to catch up on his schedule. Called for the noise on a ceiling fan, technician wore a ear buds and claim that he can't hear anything and being rude. Literally ran out before even 10 minutes into the door.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with City First Electric and their electrician, Tim. He was so helpful, timely and hard working. I really didn’t know what to expect since they were sent out from my home warranty and wow I’m impressed! Respectful, service first approach and so efficient. A++ all around!! I will be using this company with or without my home warranty. Highly recommend!

Luciano provided no service, he came and left without notifying me. I informed him I received a shock from an outlet and he claimed the outlet was fine from one plug of his meter. No further investigation, no nothing. He just left. He was tasked the work by American Home Shield and they are less than credible as well. I have found AHS to be very unhelpful and only interested in collecting the $100 service fee. The only problem is that the service stinks. Do not support City First Electric or American Home Shield. Refuse the service from the broker and do not include it with your home sale.

Im happy with the service, the tech fixed the electrical issue fast.. price was good. I had three other contractors that stated i needed a rewire.. thanks again Joseph
