After they were "finished" with their "job", i found nothing had been cleaned and everything was the same as before they started. nicotine, cobwebs, and dust were still all over the vents and ceiling fans. when i asked for a refund or for them to come back out, i was ignored and had to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Overall I cannot say enough great things about Timothy and Socal PH&AC. I started my renovation long distance from the east coast and was worried about getting ripped off or sold a bigger HVAC system than I needed. tim is honest, super professional and communicative. He walked me through the entire process, from buying the right product to the best method of installation, even dealing with some asbestos removal - all of this with me being out of town for the first few weeks of my renovation. He spoke directly with my contractor, keeping me in the loop the entire time so I didn't have to worry about what was happening. Not to mention his price was better than the two other companies I called. He TRULY went above and beyond. tim the man you are the best. CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH!

Such great service! Our heater stopped working abruptly sending me into a panic, as I have a three-year-old and a 10-month-old who I need to keep warm during the night (it's not like I can layer them with blankets and run a space heater while they sleep, not safe)! So many other companies couldn't even come out for several days, but the general manager of this company rerouted one of his workers Tim out same day. Tim helped me out with the quickfix! Great customer service, knowledgeable workers, amazingly supportive manager. Definitely keeping their information on hand. Highly recommended.

I was looking to add some ductless mini split systems to my house. I first contacted socal on Yelp and responded promptly. We followed up with a phone call and then an appointment for a home inspection. tim came on time and after a thorough inspection, he recommended the mini splits. He came by a second day to sign paperwork and to schedule the install.

They guys who did the installation came on time and were very friendly and professional. They took extra care to cover up my furniture, wear shoe covers in the house, and cleaned up when they finished. Installation took about 6 hours. When they finished, they did a final walk through with me and explained how to clean and operate the units.

We're very happy with the units. We got the Mitsubishi 19 Series. We had 2 rooms that our central AC couldn't cool due to a lack of ductwork (room addition) and a flat roof (bedroom). The units are very quiet; we can watch tv or fall asleep with them on and we don't even notice.

Tim was ON TIME, (holy cow) I immediately trusted him because he was very straight forward about the problem, educated me about my system, and he gave me a variety of options that I clearly understood. He's got a friendly demeanor and offered zero Bull-S#!T.
When he left, I felt really good because not only am I sure that my problem is resolved, but I have an understanding of how my system works, and how to maintain it. We even discussed some fun tweaks I can play with to direct all this water out to my Grey water system. The company that originally installed my AC unit has GHOSTED, so I'm really excited to have a buddy I trust who understands this stuff.Socal for the win!!

SOCAL PH&AC was an absolute pleasure to work with. My heater just had a blown capacitor, but they gave me an appointment promptly and were really knowledgeable and friendly.

The best thing about the experience was that I'd just bought a new Nest thermostat (unrelated to the repair) and the technician gave me a bunch of free advice, along the lines of: move this wire here and attach it to the thermostat there. I could easily wire the thermostat afterwards myself, with a configuration which is more solid that the one Nest support had originally suggested.

It’s summertime so of course my AC failed. I called Icee Hot and they showed up the same day. The problem was electrical and the technician was able to troubleshoot very quickly. The AC is now back on and my family is happy! Thank you!!!
