My 17 year old Toy Hauler sprung a leak in its cooling system. I searched for a fix and most companies only offered a complete refrigerator replacement. Cool-Fun RV offered us an option of a refurbished cooling unit or a new cooling unit. They also offered a mobile replacement service. Chris was very professional in his recommendation and Sal was completely professional in his removal, repair, and re-installation of my Dometic 2852 Refrigerator/Freezer. My RV fridge stopped working on my vacation out west. Bummer Camping World wanted like $3000 for a new Norcold 641 Crazy. Found Cool-Fun after googling Fridge repair and was quoted like $465 for the cooling unit in my fridge. Decided, to swap out the unit my self so about a week later i received the unit and took about two days with reading the instruction very slowly. Along with help from Criss, the owner, Sal and Ana. I can't say enough about their customer service. I had a couple of issues with my old refrigerator and Chris helped me every step of the way. Once the installation was complete, I turned on the unit and within 4 hours the freezer was 12° and the main compartment was 42°. Within 6 hours the main unit was down to 34°. My old unit never cooled down this quickly. Great product. Great service. I highly recommend Cool-Fun!

I highly recommend Cool-Fun for your RV refrigerator repair needs. Chris walked me through the cooling unit replacement step by step with phone calls and face-time calls. Even though we're 2000 miles apart, it seemed as though he was just next door ready to help.

This place is legit. After almost a year of trying to decide whether to buy a whole new fridge or attempt the task of replacing my own cooling unit, I called this place. Not only did they sell me a cooling unit for a great price but they set me up with a guy named Sal who did a phenomenal job replacing my cooling unit for a very fair price. They all had great communication and got the job done very quickly. My fridge works better now than before it broke. Sal picked up the new part for me, showed up when he said he would and hauled the old parts away. Very pleased with my experience thus far.

I have a Norcold 1200 and the cooling unit had gone out. I ordered a new one from Cool Fun RV and there was a delay in getting the unit because the freight company had lost it. The owner, Chris got involved and sent me out another which was received promptly. My experience with Chris has been great and the product works well as he had assured me it would. After the install, I was still having additional issues with the fridge and Chris helped me thru those. Thank you Chris for your help and your support.

Chris and Sal are awesome. They talked me through the process
of replacing my cooling unit coil. Very knowledgeable and totally pros at this. Thanks, guys, for all your help. YOU MADE IT SO EASY FOR ME!!! Highly recommend these guys.. When I finished installing everything the unit was at 20 degrees in just a couple hours.

Needed a cooling unit for an RV fridge. After a lot of research I was able to locate one at Cool-Fun. My issue is that I am on the east Coast and they were on the west. I spoke with Chris, and after talking we were able to determine the exact cooling unit I needed, since my model fridge it could be 2 different ones. They had one instock and shipped the same day. I received the cooling unit in one week. It was packaged great! It was exactly what I needed, and upon install I had a working fridge!!!

This unit came from clear across the country and was package well. The installation took some time, since I’ve never installed one before. I contacted the company and they were very responsive and you actually speak to a human being. My old refrigerator is working like new and they have a two year warranty on their cooling units. Very pleased

Would NOT buy from this company again. No customer service once you’ve made your purchase. Bought our unit in August 2023, two year warranty. It has failed. Called company, was given Chris’s (boss) personal cell phone number. We have called & left four messages. Have not been called back. We chose this company because of the number of years they’ve been in business & the fact that is a family owned company. BIG MISTAKE!!

Unfortunately, ruined my Dometic fridge by parking off level. Fortunately, found these guys on the Internet. Chris was incredibly helpful on the phone and I drove over to his workshop to buy a remanufactured unit which was then installed by Sal Hernandez a friend recommended by them. The experience can only described as excellent and thoroughly professional.

I needed a new cooling unit for our RV refrigerator and called numerous places. All quoted me ridiculous prices to replace it.
I found Cool Fun RV Cooling and spoke with the owner. Very nice guy!! He quoted $1800 for the cooling unit and installation. Our refrigerator is very large and is no easy task getting out.
We drove down to his shop and they started right away. 5 hours later we were on the road.
He also put in a new fan and a sensor at no additional charge.
I drove 10 hours to get to his shop and it was absolutely worth it. These guys really know the business of Rv refrigerators.
Two days after the install i received a followup text to make sure everything was going well with the refrigerator. Nobody does this these days and I really appreciated it.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good, honest company to deal with!!

Cool fun repaired my RV refrigerator about 4 years ago. The repair was done on time quickly and for less than estimated Chris the owner totally wants to help the customer His whole thing is to do what his dad taught him and make the customer happy. My repaired refrigerator from 2005 is still working very well Chris did an excellent job. If I ever need an RV refrigerator repair I will be calling Chris. Thanks Chris you are a good guy! 👍 👍

Excellent customer service. When I was swapping out my old cooling unit for new I realized the last person had lost the baffle.. Chris sent me a used baffle to make my replacement seamless. Fridge is nice and cold. Great company!

I just bought a Cooling unit from Cool Fun and had it shipped to me in Utah.
Both Chris and Sal took time out of their busy schedules to answer a few questions that I had about the unit.
Not only are they both experts when it comes to these cooling units but they also provided outstanding customer service which in today’s world, I find very rare.

Wow, that guy offer a huge service. Our Norcold 1200 stop fonctionning and we were looking for a cooling unit not to far.. we were in Mexico .. Chris work so hard to find a solution for us.. finally , not is fault, but it’s hard to send that in Mexico…
So he send it to friend having a house in Texas, we just install it , and at each step, just have to ask, and he was there to answer. A really good company and a super owner.thanks Chris for all your help and time in this

Had a great service experience, very quick and after replacing the cooling unit the fridge worked great.

They are totally inundated with order so you have to be patient on shipping and emails. I got my cooling unit in about a week and a half. Chris was great and responded to my questions. Cooling unit is exactly as described. Installation was not easy but watched a few videos and got it done. Fridge works as good as new now.

My 1210 Norcold stopped cooling and I found CoolFun online the price was right. Ana took a few days getting back to me but I guess that’s typical during there busy season. I got the unit and doing it my self was a night mare Ana gave me Chris and sals number and with some video chats between the both of them my refrigerator is working great. Thanks CoolFun

Passed on my info to a repair guy, who ended up helping me get the unit installed. Fit like a glove. Best experience ever. Great place to go.

If I could leave - stars I would. I have never had this horrible of an experience. we placed an order my card was billed the same day showing tracking had been created. after 4-5 days tried calling no answer after several days we got a hold of them and were told it would ship that day. 2-3 days later no part. called again. We were told they sold out of the part we had on order and our order didn't get sent in time. card still charged. Her boss who has been doing this for 50 years had found one that would work. ok they will send it today. shipped to the wrong address and guess what the part was wrong. called again no answer after 4 calls in a row a lady answered and said I am not at work. I asked for someone who is there as it was during business hours. No there is not. I am running late. She said she would call as soon as she got there. 2 hours later I call again. Tell them the part is incorrect and we would need to return the part. she will have to ask her boss (you know the one who has done this for 50 years) and said the part was right. Calls back and they will take it back, but we have to pay the return freight. R U KIDDING ME. I have to pay $80 for freight for something you shipped and it was wrong. They call back and guess what they found the correct one and can ship today. Ya no thank you. I won't tell you what you can do with your part. Long story. sorry, but they did give us a credit less the shipping of $80. So it cost me $80 and a whole lot of headache and time. I would not recommend this company. I will spend a lot more to buy new. Then deal with criminals who cheat people out of money. Just wish I would have researched and seen all there awful reviews with the same issues we had.
