Their pricing was competitive and working with Brent, Adam and Darren made the entire process a breeze. From power consumption evaluation, system design, permitting, installation and after care, Prime Home Solutions provides excellent service. I appreciated the honesty and no pressure sales process to make sure that we got what we needed and wanted without being oversold. Even the change order process was easy when I requested an additional panel and upgraded monitoring. We purchased a system that’s a smidgen more than we need in anticipation of a future EV so we are set up for a plug and play addition. In the meantime, it’s been amazing to only have to pay minimum(non-bypass able) monthly utility connection charges and to get a substantial check yearly for sending excess production back to the grid. I recently had Prime Home Solutions install an 11.48 kW solar system with a PointGuard battery backup system and Enphase microinverters, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

From the start, Brent, the owner, stood out with his professionalism and approachability. He was incredibly informative, easy to talk to, and not the least bit “salesy,” which made the decision-making process feel comfortable and transparent. Brent and his team were communicative and supportive every step of the way, ensuring I was informed and that all my questions were answered.

The installation process was quick and efficient, taking just two days. The team worked with incredible professionalism and even accommodated my preferences for the battery system’s placement. When the job was done, they left everything clean and organized, which I really appreciated.

The system has been performing exceptionally well. The PointGuard battery backup has already proven its worth—during a recent PG&E maintenance outage, ours was the only house on the street with power, and our Christmas lights stayed on without a hitch! On top of that, we’ve already seen days of negative electricity usage, which is a fantastic bonus.

Although I was not a good candidate for solar, I still want to leave a review. Prime home solutions reached out to me after I entered my information on EnergySage and promptly made an appointment the following day at my request. I was teamed up with Mike who came to my house on time and gave me multiple scenarios to see if I would be a candidate for a solar and battery addition to our home. Instead of a 10 minute visit to say why I was not a good candidate due to many trees surrounding our house, he entertained my ideas of what if I cut down all the trees, which my wife WILL NOT AGREE WITH, Mike still provided detailed assumptions, and the UGLY CONs. Mike was honest, very knowledgeable and reiterated that adding more panels, more battery packs was not fiscally sound. As much as I was wanting to install solar, he said that the increased cost of doing so would not be beneficial and warned of other installers that may do it, knowing that there is no benefit for me in the long run. I highly recommend them cause there is no pressure tactics and just an honest company with honest employees. I have attached an email that I received from Mike after he left and I asked him to provide me the cost analysis for reference and just in case I decide to go ahead with solar against their advice. I was very skeptical about getting solar, but when I finally decided to move forward, Prime Home Solutions (PHS) earned my business. I was 99% committed to Tesla until speaking with PHS. They’re local, offered better pricing, better product options, and their customer service—especially from the owner—is outstanding.

I’m old school: if you tell me you’re going to do something, I expect you to follow through. During my installation, I encountered two minor issues and worried they’d be brushed aside. Instead, one call was all it took—both issues were resolved quickly and at no cost. This company truly cares about doing the job right and making sure the customer is fully satisfied.

The owner was always just a call or text away, and the install team showed up early, worked hard, and explained every step of the process. They earned all five stars, without a doubt. I’m not receiving anything in return for this review—I’m simply a satisfied customer. I also highly recommend PointGuard batteries for home use.

I had 31 panels installed, a whole-home backup system, a generator plug, and exterior breakers added to my transfer box, which now lets me control everything through the app.

My only regret is not doing it sooner. Yes, it’s an investment, but I’m now saving money every month by not relying on PG&E (especially aince they are raising rates) and once its paid off I'll be saving over $500 a month (due to how much my bills were)

I have a solar system installed by a company that went out of business, but I found a company called Prime Home Solutions. The two solar techs, Emilio, and Mauricio are first class. I called and spoke with the owner Brent Baker and told him my 3 batteries were not producing for almost a year, within 2 hours Mauricio the lead tech was at my home and diagnosed the problem, which would require replacement of my Tesla gateway. Mauricio spoke with Tesla and procured an RMA, and one week later Mauricio and Emilio were here installing it. WA-La-everything now works and I now have reserve power again. I can't tell you enough about what a great company this is. If you are looking for solar install or repair this is definitely a reputable company!

I can't be more pleased with our solar system bought from and installed by Prime Home Solutions. The installation crew were courteous and communicated with me every step of the way. The price of the system was very reasonable and the hardware used the latest technology available. Wow! What a great experience we had with Prime Home Solutions! They came highly recommended to us from a friend so I went on a whim and reached out and I’m so glad we did! We got a quote for solar from another company back in 2024 but did not commit at that time - 2025 came around and with the prices of PG&E constantly increasing we decided to look at solar again. Thankfully the solar topic came up with my friend and she said contact Prime Home! I wasn’t sure since we live in Brentwood and they are located in Roseville but when they said they were able to service our home & get us in before the end of 2025 to qualify for the tax credit we were thrilled. From start to finish we had a wonderful experience, Brad was our sales representative and we felt very taken care of by him. He was quick, informative, helpful and truly felt like he wanted the best for us and wasn’t just focused on selling or over selling. After we committed it was smooth sailing! I didn’t realize it would take a few months with the permits etc but we were kept up to date the entire time with where they were at in the process! Everyone was beyond friendly and helpful! We loved Sharonda, she was so efficient when it came to scheduling everything and keeping us in the loop. The crazy thing is, because of how busy the end of year was Prime Home had another contractor install our solar/ batteries I believe the company was Grand Solar Electric out of Fresno. Typically knowing a project is being contracted out can cause some worry but this company was just as incredible! The group of guys that installed everything for us were so awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, easy going very thorough and professional! What a great company! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase solar / batteries!!

I recently had my solar and battery system installed by Prime Home Solutions. I cannot say enough about this company and their owner Brent. First, the solar and battery system are performing flawlessly. Second, I was trying to beat the pre 2026 deadline and Brent came through, delivering on his promises. Last and most importantly, Brent stood by his original quote even when costly changes were required by the county. I am so so impressed by this company. It’s hard to decide where to go when it comes to trying to find a reputable company you can trust. Especially when getting calls left and right from different people saying different things. Really great, hardworking crew who did a beautiful job and cleaned up after they finished. They worked in extreme heat, worse because they were of course, on a roof. Crew leader friendly and polite as were his crew members.

In debt for 67 thousand dollars and roof leaks and have not seen any reduction in PGE. Been trying to get ahold of you and nobody has done a thing. Taking advantage of a senior citizen and Nate Blanton lied through the whole thing. Getting ready to get a lawyer and sue this company

Shoutout to the team over at CARE, the last people we let in our home from a different company kept changing the amount of the pricing and tried to scam us since we were black. My family has been looking into going solar for a few years now and we were planning on committing in late June.
