Online prices are completely different than the price you pay at the counter. Employees don't appear to enjoy their jobs and it shows. Closer to me than my normal supplier but hardly worth the prices and service.

Employee refused to do business with me for not having a face mask on. I can understand that but when I asked questions about it he started to get extremely aggressive. After him raising his voice and saying “ if you don’t like it you can leave” I left and will not ever do business there. I’m Absolutely disgusted.

Please don’t come at me with “ it’s for safety”. I get it. It was his horrible attitude and raising his voice, very bad business.

I paid more than double what I was about to pay at HD for the exact same thing. The parts at HD didn't seem to fit so I went to what I thought would be experts, they still sold me the same wrong part. I brought in the remainder of an old conduit connector and everything I found and was sold to me was for EMT. Turns out it was IMC (after more research by myself) but experts should have known that based on my descriptions of fit issues and the fact it was an outside pipe! Not to mention having the old part in hand.

The attitudes in this branch of Platt are bad enough that even though it’s the closest to me I travel to Sacramento or other parts houses to avoid it. Mike is the worst. Horrible attitude every time we call-hard to get information out of -always sounds upset and bothered. Not easy to work with. The younger guys at the front aren’t too bad but are just very dry. The atmosphere here is horrible.
It’s bad enough that we will go to CED right down the road even when their prices are higher.

Been buying a fair amount of conduit, wire, solar rail and fixings here as a DIY. I can find what I need about 95% of the time. Most of the time there is at least one item that needs to be ordered. But it's typically overnight to 2 days wait time. Counter staff is helpful. I usually know exactly the part numbers from the web site I need so not sure how they would respond to someone who hasn't done some home work first. I'd imagine that they would try their best until there was a line behind you.

Worked directly with Miguel (Owner) who was insanely unprofessional. His contractor who did my inspection missed entire rooms only having two prong outlets, not three prong. Missed exposed wires in the ceiling, wires hanging out of eaves, lights not working, loose sockets, it's like they didn't even look at anything. When trying to schedule a follow up appointment for an estimate, Miguel missed multiple appointments and did not communicate that he wasn't going to make it until after he missed the appointments. Finally, the third appointment we scheduled he missed because his garage door opener broke. Not only did they do a terrible inspection but his garage door opener is more important to him than his customers. Absolutely ridiculous. Do NOT use this company for repairs or inspections! Unprofessional and uneducated in electrical.

Absolutely the best. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

We have Robert come back today for fan and switch replacement. He did it so well, bathroom looks like a new house now. He was respectful and hard working. Thank you for coming out today! I would definitely recommend this company!

Zachary with Mavericks Electric spent the whole day removing our burned electric panel and installing a new one to repair our electricity. He stayed after it got dark (due to shorter days) and completed the job and cleaned up all the stucco that was removed. Very polite and hard working. We appreciated him and his team’s service.

Maverick was very professional, honest and trustworthy company to work with. They made the process of replacing my electrical panel easy, took care of all permits, inspections, scheduling and install. Christoper arrived on time and completed the work ahead of schedule.

David was amazing from the moment he came to the front door to the end of the job. He did a wonderful job at explaining every detail to me and showed me the pictures he took of the attic to help me have a better idea of what was going on up there. David Swarts came out to inspect our heating system. He did an excellent job. He was fast, knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me on any unnecessary adds on a like most companies. Overall great experience.

Marcus with Maverick Heating was at our house today to do a tune up. He found one of our furnaces not working. He was very thorough and found that the 19-year old system needs to be replaced. Marcus showed me all of the evidence to help me make a decision. I was very happy with his professionalism.

Edgar was very efficient in completing the job. He was attentive to all my questions. His was kind and thoughtful throughout the entire install. Thank you Edgar for your professionalism. In this day and age it is refreshing to find someone who shows this level of care. It was apparent that you do enjoy your job. Your company is more than privileged to have you as an asset.

Great experience once again with Maverick Electrical service team. I required a new electrical part. And even tho they didn’t have it in the truck the tech went and got what he needed to make the repair same day. And all is back to normal.

Evan was professional and polite explained everything so that I could understand it and he wrote it down for me. It was unfortunate that he wasn’t able to repair The motor because of the age, but he gave me some good advice as far as connecting with someone who could take care of the problem. All Around I’d say he was perfect⭐️

I had some electrical issues lately with a newly purchased, older home recently and called Maverick. They sent out Nicolas Stenberg who was great. He was patient, as I had trouble locating all of the house's sub panels, and gave me options to time and price the costly repairs needed in a workable way. Would definitely recommend.

Maverick was great, called and got an appointment the very next day. Nick was very professional and friendly. He was able to immediately identify the issue we had and got the job done much quicker than I had expected. He also happily took the time to answer our questions about some other electrical issues we have in our house. I would highly recommend if you have any electrical needs!

My wife and I had a meeting with Edgar Gonzalez the morning of 11/28/25. Just like our meeting with your last technician Nick, Edgar was very professional and knowledgeable.

He explained everything to both of us in great detail. He provided great service. He double checked the 8 outlets that he replaced. He also did a fantastic job in replacing our subpanel. He labeled the breakers and checked all of them. He was outstanding and we would definitely recommend Maverick Electric.

These guys are awesome. Hit a wire in my house hanging cabinets in the garage. Being a sportsman with game and fish in the freezer it was time sensitive. Problem happened at 8 am fixed by 11 am .Ryan was quick to fix my problem. The rushed out and had great pricing. Would highly recommend for any of your electric needs or any other service offered. Saved me money and a freezer full of meat and fish.
