We remodeled our kitchen. Working with Kitchen Mart was smooth and easy from beginning to finish. The designer, Kathy, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our project manager was very responsive and made sure that all details and challenges were addressed. The craftsmen were professional, friendly, respectful and competent. Easy to have in our home. Our project was finished as planned in a timely fashion.
We have a beautiful new kitchen.
Thank you Kitchen Mart. -
I’ve now had KM do four jobs for us since the mid 90s. This latest one was pretty much a disaster from tip to tail. A 3 week bathroom remodel turned into four and a half months of constantly calling out their mistakes. Having said that, they fixed all but one, which they didn’t recognize as a mistake (cutting the hole for the sink in the slab too small, leaving a 1+” overhang around all sides and effectively shrinking the sink significantly. They do stand by their work, which is important, but the communications between who does what has really slipped.

Kitchen Mart is a professional, cooperative organization. All of the staff used to create my hall bathroom work for the company which I liked very much. They were dependable, flexible, and as quiet as they could be. You will not be sorry that you hired them.

Kitchen Mart is a soup to nuts local Sacramento Area provider of kitchens and bathroom remodels. They have been in business for decades, and Dave and Tamara are the owners and the owners are approachable. The team in total are well versed in handling all parts of a project. And even though we interviewed and got quotes from a lot of providers Kitchen Mart instills a bit of extra confidence in you since they have a wood and cabinet shop and in source a large amount of the work. This allows them to control the quality.
Overall ratings:
Transparency - 4 stars in that they will quote you particle board cabinets unless you upgrade the material. Be sure you are getting what you want, and review the contract very carefully.
Communication and Staff - 5 stars they give you a project manager that handles all issues, timing, quality and communications. This is the main reason you hire Kitchen Mart and pay the big bucks. If you want to save money you need to do the work yourself. Which can be difficult if you are not skilled in doing more complex DIY projects.
Quality of work - 5 stars, Kitchen Mart does high quality work, if you have an issue you contact your project lead and they correct it. This can all take time, but not as much time as if you had disparate contractors that might be backed up and doing things for many other jobs. Our job took a few months to redo our kitchen, but this was mostly because of some materials issues and just getting things lined up. In general our kitchen was usable again in a few short weeks (about 3 weeks from demolition).
All the techs that came and worked on our project, were skilled, professional and clean.
I would use Kitchen Mart again. -
Kitchen Mart remodeled our bathroom 14 years ago. Upon a house inspection the inspector found that our bathroom had major wood rot due to a pan failure in the shower. The contractor that we used to demolish the shower, walls, sub floor and bathroom floor said it was the worst wood rot they had ever seen and it had to have been leaking since installed. We asked for the owner to come out to see the damage but he never did. His email to us stated that he can’t take responsibility for something that happened so long ago. If they didn’t do it then who did?? A shower should last longer and that’s what we expected when we hired them. The owner did not offer to give us a penny. Stay far away from this company. They WILL NOT stand behind their work. Those commercials you see on tv are a joke. If they’re so reputable in Sacramento then why wouldn’t the owner at least offer to give us the materials or even a tube of caulking!! NOTHING!! DO NOT Hire them!

We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our kitchen remodel. The crew was professional and efficient. The cabinets are well made and so much better than the old ones. The new drawers added to the lower cabinets and pantry make it much easier to access items. The Cambria countertop and the tile backsplash are gorgeous and the different elements all work fabulously together. Totally recommend!

I used KM for my kitchen and both bathrooms. It really looks great, and I am very happy overall. All of the employees who worked in my house were fantastic. They were very nice, extremely clean and courteous.
It was not a seamless process as the ads lead you to believe. After I signed my contract, the person I worked with for the contract, was very difficult to get responses from. It was very frustrating. I had to email several times or had to cc others to get her to reply.
They designate a set time for the remodel. If they do not finish on time, stuff happens, they fit you in when they can. My kitchen should have taken 2 weeks. It was 6 weeks after that, that it was finally finished. My master bath was finished on time.
Paying is also frustrating. You have to know the amount you owe when you call in. Otherwise, they have to put you on hold and ask for the amount from finance.
For my final payment, I thought I knew the amount. So called it in, told them the amount and they took it. I accidentally paid double. (My fault for not checking). But really, they should check. They did have a reimbursement check waiting for me within 24 hours. Which was super impressive!
Construction projects are never without issues. Those I listed were my only issues but over time, it grated on me.
KC was the most responsive for any issue for this whole project. I really appreciated that. KM staff are really great, and I enjoyed having all of their staff around!
For my master bath, my shower was very tiny. So, I had them take over part of my closet to make it larger. Then the remaining area became shelves and cabinets. I have a second closet already in the master. -
Great customer service! They answered all my questions gracefully and thoroughly. All of the installers were professional and artists in their own fields.

We are absolutely delighted with the work that Kitchen Mart did for us. They resurfaced our kitchen cabinets and built a unique breakfast bar that had bookcase shelving on the living room side and storage and seating on the kitchen side. The project manager, Mike Hart, kept us well informed of the process and costs. The construction team were all top notch. David, Slav, and Steve S. gave great attention to details and their craftsmanship skills were fantastic. Kitchen Mart was recommended to us by our next door neighbors and we will likewise be very willing to recommend them to others.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail are unmatched. Excellent to work with. You get what you pay for! We have had the kitchen cupboards refaced and new vanities in the bathrooms and couldn’t be more pleased and we are somewhat perfectionists!

Great job by entire Kitchen Mart crew (in the office and on job site). From initial appointment to select refaced cabinet style and color & the estimated cost with Carla, to detailed measuring and discussing the details of the project with Mike, to the wonderful job done on prep work and the entire install process thru to the final completion & detail work by a great crew, I am very happy with my beautiful new cabinet and drawer refacing. From older dated contractor grade golden oak cabinets to beautiful new mission white cabinets thru entire house. Made a huge difference to look and feel of house, like getting a house face lift!

I was most impressed by how quickly Kitchen Mart was able to reface our kitchen. They stuck to their calendar perfectly and our main contractor, Marcus was phenomenal. He stayed until past 6pm two days in a row to ensure he stayed on schedule. When small things didn’t go perfectly, they fixed them right away and were great with communicating to us throughout.

My husband and I visited the Kitchen Mart in Rocklin where we were immediately greeted and helped. We discussed our kitchen remodel with Susan Broaddus. Her expertise and probing questions led to understanding exactly what we wanted. She made excellent suggestions and recommendations for the quartz countertop and rock back splash to make our kitchen amazing.
The Kitchen Mart team are a well-oiled machinery. Our project manager, Tim Doscher verified all the details of the job and provided us with the timeline. We got a call the week before work was to begin, and demolition went seamlessly. The team, Marlon, Will and Tim took steps , using the best quality materials, to protect the remaining kitchen components and to keep the dust to a minimum. They were very professional, personable and did a great job.
Anthony came the following day to do the laser template. Another very professional and personable individual, who did a wonderful job. Anthony worked with my husband to make sure that the installation will go smoothly and hopefully without a hiccup.
Last, but certainly not least, Vlad and Marcus installed the chiseled edge Cambria quartz countertop. Followed by Steve and Austin who took a couple of days to install our unique pebble back splash. It all turned out so fantastic and we are very thankful to the professionalism of Kitchen Mart. We will definitely use their services again! -
Just finished up a kitchen remodel with Kitchen Mart and couldn't be happier with the entire process!
The designer (Susan Broaddus) was awesome and came up with a near-perfect design. I made a couple small tweaks but everything else was her execution of the concepts rolling around my brain, Pinterest pages, etc.
One of the things that drew me to Kitchen Mart is that they do all the work in-house (i.e., no subcontractors). My project manager (Edgar Mendoza) was an awesome communicator with eMail, text messages, or calls on a regular basis and the KM team would call to remind me of project checkpoints (e.g., start of demo, inspections, etc.). The individual team leads were great as well, in regular contact, and receptive to questions or suggestions. From demo though construction, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, counters, and to final hookups, everything Kitchen Mart did was done with great care.
I'd heard horror stories of change orders, etc. but my job only had three small change orders, one of which was my fault. Two of the change orders were actually credits and the third was to cover the cost of the inspections (which I was expecting since the actual cost isn't known up front).
Even with a couple issues (neither their fault), they stuck to the schedule without exception and completed the job on the day promised. They were VERY clean and were even cleaning/dusting the floors *outside the construction* area on the last day. The quality of the cabinetry (KraftMade) and Kitchen Mart's craftmanship is exceptional.
I was 110% happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't hesitate to use them for additional projects! -
We highly recommend the excellent Kitchen Mart project team to complete your project. They worked quickly and efficiently to complete our kitchen island remodel at a reasonable cost. Our project included them making the island level, realigning the electrical and re-plumbing from the ground, then installing new appliances and counter top. It opened up our kitchen and family great room. They worked hard to make us happy with the end result. We would definitely hire them for future kitchen or bathroom projects.

Don't use the big box stores!! We've been working this project for years and have been getting pricing. Home Depot was a joke at $28,000 for just refinishing and then pressure to buy it. Kitchen Mart had reasonable pricing almost half!, excellent choices and very good craftsman. The counter was spot on and everything was aligned. It was what ever we wanted and picked out they installed no hassle. They treat you as well as you treat them. We got along great, the installers were the best. Pictures of my 1984 kitchen with New Caldona marble. I did all the leg work, demo which saved a lot on the bid. We have a large fire brick sink, get the better one as they are sized correctly.

Used Kitchen Mart to remodel the family room. We wanted built-ins, floating shelves, and TV mounting. The initial process was relatively easy with the design and selection. Note that they have a 9 months lead, so it took longer than expected to get the job done. They were upfront about this. At the time of installation, the personnel was friendly, respectful, and clean. The manager was responsive and took great care of us. An example was when the job was done, there were issues with the level of the shelves and chipping off material. He told us immediately that they were going to take care of us. they ended up replacing two shelves that were already there. The job now looks amazing, and we are very happy with the final product and how the manager and the team that came home treated us. One issue was the lady that is in charge of collecting the money. I understand that this is a difficult job, and many people will try to get smart and not pay. Yet, she was a bit more pushing and rude to us than she should need to be. Fortunately, the manager and the team knew we were serious people and made us feel at ease with the situation. We will definitely consider them for future work around the house.

Dear Kitchen Mart - Overall we are very happy with our kitchen cabinet refacing and quartz countertop installation. The team worked well together and was always more than willing to make sure the project turned out to our satisfaction. They arrived promptly and was always great about cleaning up on a daily basis before leaving. Majority of the job went smoothly and we would highly recommend Kitchen Mart.

Kitchen Mart is the absolute best! We’ve now used them for two kitchen projects. They did kitchen cabinet refacing and a full backsplash in our former home, which turned out to be gorgeous. I don’t believe people understand the level of precision and detail that’s required for cabinet refacing. But it was flawless and and it really added sales value to our home! We recently moved to a new property and Kitchen Mart converted unused space in a dining area into a kitchen extension. We added a buffet, cabinetry and a bar area with a mosaic tile backsplash. We also replaced the backsplash behind our stove and our island countertop. They took my random ideas and created a beautiful design and we couldn’t be happier. Also, all of the employees are true professionals. Not to mention genuinely nice people who care about their craftsmanship and customers. They provide a schedule of work and stick to it, which is rare in my experience. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and hope to use them for other projects again in the future!

The finished product is fantastic. The KitchenMart team was very professional and asked for input and asked questions throughout the project. There were only a couple of small hiccups during the project, which were rectified. Very happy customers . The pictures include our older bathroom setup, and the end result. 👏😀

We couldn’t be happier with the results of our Kitchen! The crews were great! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of a lack of the communication from our project manager. His texts were very short and sometimes no response at all. In person he was great. I just always felt he didn’t have time to address my concerns. I definitely do recommend Kitchen Mart though! We are very happy!!
