Someone driving their "Safety Manager" trucks was speeding going 90+ mph, tailgating and crossing over 3-4 lanes of traffic. Seeing this reckless driving, and the other reviews, is indicative of their lack of professionalism and care for others.

This is the worse company ever. I have owned my home for 4 months and have nothing but issues with the electrical. Every time I turn on my blow dryer my GFI goes off and now I can’t reset it. It’s been a nightmare, don’t waste your money. Stop hiring this horrible company!!!

Phil went over all the design & layout options for panels on our roof. He has wholesale deals with a lot of companies like sunrun, Vivant and can even have Baker do the installation if requested. We ended up getting a deal with one of his local installers which included a 30 year complete warranty including the roof. We like the broker approach. It saved us time & money and he negotiated with all of them to get them to compete and give us the best price.

Great service! Phil explained everything to me pertaining to the solar installation. He was here when the panels were installed and made sure it was done right. This was over a year ago and he has contacted me to see if I'm satisfied with the product. He has kept in touch to see how it's going and I consider him a friend. He's a great guy to work with and a great person to do business with. I'd recommend him for solar work for sure.

I hired Crux on several occasions, once for my electrical panel and another time to update all my interior lighting switches. The crew was professional, they worked fast and I was very happy with how everything turned out. The owner was very responsive to my phone calls (even on nights and weekends) and I definitely plan to hire them again for my bathroom and kitchen remodel.

1. End-to-End Process

The whole process, from us reaching out to Mega Power, to having the solar panels installed and running, took about 3 weeks. All this without us feeling any pressure to choose them. For comparison, for all other companies we talked to, the first available opening for the installation was at least a month in the future and, on top of that, they bombarded us with texts and emails pressuring us to sign a contract.

2. Installation

The crew that did the installation were very professional. They came at 7am on the scheduled day and finished the job (26 panels and wiring) by 6pm. They did not cut any corners, the layout of the panels was aesthetically good, and the mounding on the roof was solid.

3. Inspection

Installation passed the inspection without any issues.

4. Support

Where Mega Power far exceeded our expectations was in continuous support. For example, in March 2023 there were extreme winds in the area that knocked down many trees and damaged infrastructure. One of our panels was hit by some debris and got displaced. I messaged Mega Power late in the evening of that day and they got it fixed next afternoon for free. For comparison, I have heard that with other companies it can take weeks to address issues like this.

Mega Power was great to work with, they offered the best proposal with balance of pricing and quality of components. Everything went very smoothly from design, permits, installation, and inspections. Gary, the owner, was great to work with and always available. Their install team was also top notch and very friendly, they don't cut corners and do everything efficiently and the right way. The team arrived on time every morning and cleaned up the site before they left. I'm very happy with how everything turned out, system is now generating plenty of power and saving me money on my power bill. I have already referred some friends and my parents who will also be installing their system soon.

From start to finish, the electrician's expertise shone through. He efficiently diagnosed and repaired our faulty outlets and switches, leaving everything working perfectly within an hour. Highly recommend!
