Brian was fantastic! We bought a celling fan on Saturday and he called us the same day to then book for next day installation. We were shocked and so pleasantly surprised. We scheduled a time window for him to come and he came right in the middle of it. He was friendly, fast, and efficient. Brian was smiling and sang a little tune while he worked. He took down our old fan in our bedroom and put the new one up without an issue. We’re very pleased with his work and will be booking him again very soon for other electrical needs at our home. Brian was excellent in the work he did for us: installed remote transmitters for three ceiling fans, and installed a ring video doorbell. He has the skills and the experience to quickly and efficiently get the job done; he even checked to make sure the remotes would not interfere with other ceiling fans.

Brian from Scarbrough Electric did a fabulous job replacing the electrical panel completely and coordinating with SMUD to ensure that power was restored to our home. Our power went out very early morning on December 25, 2025, during the storm that hit the area. SMUD stopped by to look at the issue and determined that the power lines coming into the home were damaged and that the panel may have to replaced by a certified electrician before SMUD could turn the power back to our home. We called many electricians but they were not available. Brian returned our calls and messages and agreed to come home to take a look. He showed up as promised and figured out the issues to be resolved. He said that he would look up to see if he could find a panel that matched our old style home and that if he couldn’t find one, he would have to get a new one. After trying hard to find an older style panel to no avail, Brian gave us a clear picture of what was needed to be done, including the new panel and getting other things fixed. Starting around 6:00 AM on December 26, Brian put in an urgent request with SMUD, got the permit paperwork completed, obtained the required panel and parts, and worked very diligently for a large part of the day. He replaced the panel and the wires and ensured that the work passed SMUD inspection. Power was restored around 6:40 PM on December 26, 2025. He came back on December 27, 2025 to wrap up his work and to tie up loose ends. He was thoroughly professional, courteous, and very dedicated to his work. Not once did he complain about the need to work the long hours during the holiday period. His pricing was also very reasonable and he did not add any unnecessary expenses to our bill. My family and I are extremely grateful to Brian for being our savior and restoring power to our home, especially as I am going through a major personal health issue right now. We will certainly look to work with Brian on other electrical projects at home in the future. God bless you Brian!

Bryan from Scarborough Electric did an excellent job installing a ceiling fan in our guest bedroom. From my first reach out for a quote through to the installation, his communication was clear, prompt, and professional. This was a new install (no previous light fitting or fan), so it required fresh wiring, and Bryan handled it perfectly. The work was done to a high standard, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend!

Brian did an outstanding job trouble shooting an electrical problem and was reasonably priced. So I hired him again to install some pendant lights and recessed lights. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't mind sharing his knowledge.

We had several projects completed, including the installation of new interior and exterior lighting, and I am 100% satisfied with absolutely everything. In the photo, he managed to get recessed lighting into our vaulted ceiling, and everything is based just perfectly. We had previously been told that it would be impossible to put any recessed lighting in that ceiling. I have already recommended him to several of my friends. 5/5

Brian did a ton of work for us, everything from installing new EV charger to adding electrical lines and outlets, adding a sub panel, to running new lines for recessed light and drilling new holes to fan and outlet exchanges to thermostat installation. He had a clear understanding of all the work regardless of the scope, and always provided the options or helped with the vision of each step. We couldn’t be happier with the work and the prices were extremely reasonable. If we need more work in the future, we will be using Brian again for any electrical needs - which is the highest praise I can give.
