I used Griffin once before and was very happy. This time I needed an existing 220 line split into two 110's.

A simple job requiring 2.5 hours of labor, two circuit breakers to change the 220 into two 110 lines, about 10 feet of romex, and the parts to create an outlet.

I was quoted approximately $1400 for the job! I called to question it, but was told the owner was out sick and only he could adjust the quote. I waited about a week and still no owner. Sadly, I boxed myself in, because of scheduling and had to have Griffin do the work for the $1400.

Although I asked, I never heard from the owner. I know I chose to have them do the work, even though the bill seemed incredibly high. I jammed myself into a corner. My real complaint is that no one responded to what should have been a simple adjustment. They got my money, but lost my business...

We had a power outage that caused multiple electrical issues. Brandon was helping our neighbor and kindly came by to help us determine if it was a breaker issue. He was professional, helpful and clearly knew what to look for. We'll be calling Griffin Electric if we need an electrician in the future. Thank you Brandon!

We had excellent service from Griffin Electric. We had a couple of outlets at our commercial building that needed attention. They came quickly to repair them and checked out our entire electrical system to ensure that everything was safe. We were so pleased that we had them change over all our electricity-sucking outdoor lights to efficient LED lights with a photocell to turn them on and off when they are needed. Thanks Griffin Electric for your excellent service and attention. We will definitely call you if we need anything else electrical done.

I rarely have such a positive report for a service company, but the Griffen electrician was beyond outstanding. He came to install a fan in the bathroom, I asked him to also put in a switch for the bedroom fan - he discovered poor wiring installation, rewired it - and then out in the switch. Prior to leaving i went to close the garage door, but no power. The tech came back in, testing the wire source, and rewired the outlet for the cord!

He was professional, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to do the job correctly! We've used Griffen before and they will remain my go-to place for electrical needs! TY

I had an electrician come to my elderly mother’s house today since 3 outlets didn’t have power. The guy pushed for a full panel replacement and insisted that he couldn’t do anything without checking every single outlet in the house. He quoted me $1300 for a “full day”. I paid the flat hour rate which was $215 they also charged 6% for gas which seemed outrageous. So for $227 and less than an hours work nothing was fixed. I had a different electrician come by and he fixed all 3 outlets, no problem.
10/10 I do not recommend this company
