Edward did a great job installing a level 2 EV charger. He was very knowledgeable about how EV charging works, and what the different options were, and helped me pick the right configuration for my needs. The installation was neat and clean, and the work was done promptly and professionally. All this at the best price too.

We’ve worked with Ed from Mr. Fix It in the past to have him install a ceiling fan and we recently hired him again to repair a broken light switch. From start to finish, Ed was professional, thorough. Ive called Mr Fix It (Edward) twice recently, once for a bad outlet on a pool panel that required some advanced troubleshooting and for an EV charger power installation. He is very professional, easy to talk to, prompt and straightforward. . Left the site cleaner than before starting. Highly recommended.

Update: I called Mr Fixit again for ceiling lights and speaker installation in a high vaulted room. Complex job but his experience showed. Very clean and professional job. Functional and aesthetic. He had suggestions I had not thought of that turned out great.

Just had the best repair experience with Steve from Independent Electric. It doesn't get any better than this.

Backstory: I ran into an electrical issue on Saturday at a house I am fixing up to sell, and wasn't sure where to start. I found Independent's website and Steve promptly called me back. He was very professional and offered me a quote after I texted a couple pictures over. I left a key in a lockbox so that he could come by Monday morning, and he had everything fixed up before 9am. Great value, and stellar communication/service. I wish the interactions I had with all the other contractors I'm working with were this smooth! I'll definitely be calling Steve again.

Steve is the epitome of an ideal pro: courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and patient with a clueless client. I wanted to replace two two-bulb flourescent kitchen ceiling fixtures with an LED ones. The old fixtures were embedded in a 48" x 48" cavity, four inches deep in the ceiling. After consulting with the Home Depot lighting expert, I bought two 48" x 24" fixtures he said will fit in the cavity. Well it didn't. Steve offered a couple of suggestions, one of which was he will find the right fixtures that would work. He responded a couple of days later with the new fixtures. They are very modern-looking 24" fixtures that fit the cavity perfectly, and, despite the smaller size, are brighter than the old ones. Steve, mercifully ignored our cluttered home, came an installed them in short time, even answered a few questions I had about other electrical matters. My wife and I are very happy with the new fixture. Six stars if I could give them.

I was loosing power to majority of my home and reached out to Independent Electric. When I called I got in contact with Steve and he was great, he made it to the house same day. He was extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. His work quality is something you don't find now days. I will definitely be calling Independent Electric for my electrical needs

Wow Steve is a great guy and my tenants said he was very professional, respectful and great with communication. We were in pinch where we had some major issues with our main panel that came out of nowhere and my normal electrician was out of town. Steve was able to come onsite within an hour on a weekend for a reasonable price to quickly diagnose the issue. He was able to create a safe temporary solution and order the right parts to permanently fix within a few days - good communication and fair price HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
