Modern Edison Electric did all of my remodeling lighting. They did my recessed lights in my family room, and kitchen. Additionally, they installed pendant lights in the kitchen over the counter, did a chandelier in the dining room, overhead lights in the living room and foyer, and my upstairs bathrooms vanity lights. I will only use them for my electric work and lights. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend their services. I will eventually have them replace my fire alarm system.

Scott arrived on time and was prepared with all the tools and parts needed to do the job. More than a year later when a part failed, he came back and not only replaced the part, but also fixed another small problem. I can definitely recommend Modern Edison Electric.

The work we had Modern Edison Electric perform was in our kitchen. We had them take down the existing Fluorescent frame lighting unit and replacing it with 8 recessed 6 inch can lights. This included Sheetrock re-fabrication and new ceiling texturing. We were very pleased with the final product and the whole process went smoothly with no complications. We hired Scott to install new circuits for our home improvement projects, and we had a great experience. At the beginning, we went back and forth quite a bit because we needed to coordinate with other contractors and figure out the best direction to go. Scott was incredibly patient throughout the process and took the time to walk us through all the options. He explained everything clearly so we felt confident making our decisions. His team was also super friendly and professional in handling scheduling and billing, and they did a great job explaining rebate eligibility to us.

The electrician work was well done, and we’ve been enjoying the upgrades ever since.

We later reached out to Scott again for another potential project. Again, he kept us posted on his arrival time, provided multiple options for the project, and clearly compared the pros and cons to help us decide.

I can't say enough good things about Surge Electric! Even though my project was small, Surge Electric treated me like a priority with same day, fast, and affordable service. In fact, Alex and Omar were extremely professional, knowledgeable, highly efficient, and more importantly courteous. They arrived on time, they not only removed a ceiling fan but also hauled it away, then, they proceeded to install two Phillips motion light fixtures on my front and back porch, and they finished the installation quickly. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and tidy. Highly recommend for any electrical needs! That’s the best customer experience ever.
