Extremely professional organization! Received a text confirming my appointment. Then a text with photo of Alex, who was doing the service. Alex showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection. He explained everything he was doing and all repairs needed. I received a report after by email that explained everything and listed out all costs. It was a bit expensive, but worth every penny! I was very pleased with the service.

Adam and his partner were very knowledgeable and professional. They did a great job assessing my fireplace issue and cleaning up afterwards. They gave me options for repair or replacement, which I appreciate. I would definitely use them again.

Rusty was communicative before my appt, he made sure he gave me a 30 minute heads up call so I wasn’t gone from work too long. He was very thorough and professional. Nice job Elite!

Rusty was very professional and knowledgeable. The fireplace inspection and cleaning was thorough. He identified several areas needing work with photos and a good explanation of why it was needed. The estimates by Elite to get them done though were high so we’ll need to think about other estimates.

Overall very pleased with assessment and diagnostics on our fairly old electric insert. Alex was our technician and was knowledgeable and professional. Was able to diagnose the issue w the pilot and control board. Kept everything clean. Will update once everything is fixed and in working order (need to wait for parts to show up).

Alex was super nice, and very informative regarding our fireplace needs. He inspected our fireplace and chimney using a camera unit for any defects for our safety. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about his job.

I had a comprehensive meeting, conversation with Adam about my fireplace. I live in an old house (built in 1917) that seems to keep "gifting" me with surprises. And while the news Adam delivered about what would be needed to get my fireplace safely up and running wasn't great, I did appreciate his thoroughness, directness, and most of all, professionalism. He clearly knows and enjoys his work... and it came through. I'm happy to highly recommend him and Elite.

We had Elite out to look at an ignition issue with our gas fireplace, and I’m really glad we called them. The technician took his time, was thoughtful and thorough, and ultimately tracked the problem down to decorative fire glass blocking the pilot — something that clearly could’ve been missed or misdiagnosed.

He spent the time to test, adjust, and recheck everything until it was working correctly, and he explained what he was seeing along the way. The fireplace now lights immediately and works the way it should have all along.

While he was here, he also used a drone to inspect our roof vent and pointed out an unsealed storm collar, showed us the footage, and clearly explained what needed to be done and why. No pressure, no upsell — just straightforward, professional advice.

Overall, the service felt careful, honest, and worth the cost. I appreciated the attention to detail and the conservative, safety-first approach. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Elite Fireplace Systems again or recommend them to others.

The entire process was so smooth and very professional! Hear me out if you don’t know which company to turn to for help with your gas fireplace—
I invited 3 companies to come inspect my broken gas fireplace, including Elite; Elite had a friendly and knowledgeable woman on the phone that helped me schedule my original inspection, that was followed up by emails and texts, confirming everything with accuracy; Whereas other companies failed to do both the professional phone call and follow up confirmations.
I also want to shine a light on the technician, Joseph – he had a friendly and calm presence, and gave me full confidence that he simply understood how to inspect my fireplace. He took everything apart carefully, keeping things clean along the way, and even covered his boots to not track anything through my home.
Once he knew what was wrong, he had the parts already there to install (again, showing that he understood how to handle a gas fireplace) AND even handled speaking with my landlord with a professional quote to discuss with her! He took care of everything for me!! He completely removed any pressure off my shoulders and saw everything through, down to fixing the discovered gas leak.
I couldn’t recommend Joseph and Elite more!

We enjoyed our experience with Elite Fireplace Services. The receptionist was very helpful when I called to set up the appointment. She was kind and informative. I also appreciated the appointment reminder the day before the appointment. As well as a text and email notification when the technician was on his way, complete with the technicians name and photo. Our technician was Anthony and he was fantastic! He introduced himself and provided his business card before reviewing what the appointment would entail. He took a lot of photos of the fireplace and all the issues he noted. At the end of the appointment he spent roughly 10-15 min thoroughly explaining what the issues were and his recommendations to repair them.

Joel was great.. very nice and professional. He called 45 min ahead to let me know his eta. He was in and out in 30 min to clean out the dryer vent. Would call again, since I see they do window screens also.

PG&E informed us that our water heater exhaust pipe was not venting properly and that there was carbon monoxide escaping into our laundry room. I phoned A-1 and they scheduled an inspection and cleaning for that week. Alex came on time, inspected the pipe and found the remains of a bird nest partially blocking the escaping gas. Alex cleaned the pipe thoroughly and left the laundry room, water heater and floor cleaner that it had been in years and he was very neat and pleasant. Thank you Alex and thank you A-1!
