I paid this contractor $150 for a job which leaked within a couple of days. We had a scheduled appointment for him to return to review his work and make it right. He did not call, nor show up!! When I messaged him he did not respond. I called him which he let go to voicemail and then I texted him again at which point he very rudely and abruptly responded, like he did not even remember the appointment, did not know who I was, or that he was supposed to have been at my home! His response was that he was at the DMV and that he would call me but he could not even remember who I was! When I asked him for a window of time, he got very rude and told me it was it was an emergency to call someone else and hung up on me. I would never refer anyone to them!!

Replaced the sink faucet and unclogged bathroom sink. The service was excellent but came after agreed upon time.

The contractors/employees did a good job working. This was the second time I requested them but unfortunately the last. Work was good but the owner was very shady this time around.

He informed me it was 102 an hour plus parts and taxes.

My bill supposed to have been 372.00 for 3 hours of labor and parts/taxes.

He tried to charge me 678.00. He was charging me 202 a hour and told me it was due to two guys he sent.

Now, if I knew this was his rules in general I may have checked elsewhere.

He said 102 a hour not per hour per plumber.

When I was discussing this with him over the phone he tried to intimidate me and threaten me with a lawsuit if I wasn't to pay.

I expressed to him that I will pay the correct amount of 372 but not this extra stuff you tried to sneak in. He then tried to negotiate and throwing all these numbers at me and I told him that that won't cut it. I'll pay the agreement you told me. He then said, "I guess I'll sue you" and hung up.

He then called the contractors and they discussed stuff and said that 372 was good. (Now waiting game and hoping he doesn't try and charge me more than I agreed and signed for.)

Again, ratings is due to the owner/boss NOT the workers. The workers did a great job and was very nice and professional.

I used Acme several years ago and had nothing but praise for them and left a glowing review on Yelp. I called this morning (Friday) at about 8 am because my washing machine faucet was leaking rapidly into my washroom. Whoever answered said they would be out in the afternoon, and I was fine with this. I called back at 1:30 pm to make sure I hadn't missed a call from them, and the man told me they would definitely be out, but it would be later. I called again at 4:45...the office was closed. I wasted all day when I could have been looking for another plumber to help me. Now I either call for emergency weekend help and pay $$$ or wait all weekend with my water turned off. I was surprised and unhappy that he was not truthful about being unable to respond. I would have been fine with that. Leaving me hanging with a leak that requires me to turn off all the water to my house for the weekend? Not so much.

Fast service and fixed our problem. Willie was very prompt and professional.
