Techpro Builders replaced my heating system when my ancient furnace finally rolled over and died about three years ago. In addition to a new, highly efficient furnace, Techpro Builders also created an insulated, manually-adjusted ductwork system to direct more or less air into various rooms. They also installed a heating vent into an added room that was previously not heated. Everything works beautifully. Their work was quick, and the cost was very reasonable. I looked at several contractors ranging from San Jose, to San Francisco, to Berkeley. Techpro Builders provided the best overall solution, and they perform annual checkups at a reasonable cost to ensure everything continues to work properly.

I liked Techpro Builders so much that, one year later, I asked them to upgrade the system to incorporate air conditioning. The manual airflow valves were easily upgraded to automated valves, and I now have two independent zones… one of them split across two floors. Again, the professionalism and value provided by Techpro Builders was superb. And they still continue to perform annual checkups on my total system. Three years on, I’m remain a very satisfied customer, and I give TechPro Builders my highest recommendation.

Armen and his crew of long-time employees are the epitome of professionalism. After securing several quotes, we hired TechPro in large part because of Armen's can-do attitude toward solving problems with HVAC piping, fitting, routing, and design, which stood in sharp contrast to other HVAC contractors that arrived on site and complained about or made derogatory comments about older systems and the challenges that it would present to them. After providing a timely quote, Armen was quite generous with his time in answering questions about his design and in spelling out the eligible rebates very precisely. So we signed and hired TechPro. After they arrived on site, they were even better than our initial impression, which is saying quite a lot. Their employees are very courteous, respectful, and careful with on site instructions and the property owner's time and availability. All new problems that arose (and they will arise in any large project) were addressed very quickly and thoroughly by Armen, who was always ready to provide cost-conscious and effective options. They finished the project ahead of schedule and were still highly communicative after the fact for on-site inspections and rebates. The experience could not have gone any better. I would highly recommend TechPro to anybody looking to complete a large HVAC project at their home.

I recently hired them for my residential HVAC system and had a great experience. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start. They responded promptly, assessed my system thoroughly, and offered good AC & Furnace options, as well as heat pump options. Eventually, we chose the heat pump option because of all the rebates. Additionally, their fair pricing made the experience even more satisfying.

After we signed the contract, they came over 1 week later and completed the whole project within 5 days; then, they left my home clean and tidy. Overall, I would hire them again for regular maintenance or future improvements.

TechPro Builders handled three separate projects and did an outstanding job with each one. These involved replacing our natural gas space heating system with an electric heat pump heating and air conditioning system and replacing two natural gas water heaters with electric heat pump units.

From start to finish, everything was seamless. Danielle handled all the communication and kept me up to date on scheduling, billing, and various state and local rebates. The crews for the projects did a super professional job. The installations were very cleanly done and the premises were left in pristine condition. For the water heater installations, Fadi and Israel did outstanding work and completed the projects in a day. For the heating and air conditioning, David oversaw the project and was meticulous. Unrelated to the scope of work, I asked if he would have time to reinforce some mounts for my swimming pool control panel and I offered to pay for that. He installed much sturdier brackets to support the equipment and refused to take any compensation for that.

Every person I dealt with was super friendly and helpful... making it a pleasure to work with them.

The installation went smoothly. I received my rebate as promised. The heat pump water heater is noisy. Not an issue for us because it’s in the garage. I don’t understand why it’s noisy. But it’s is. The charges and the installation process were explained and thus far I’m a happy customer.
