UCON did a fantastic job. We were surprised to see the dozens of parts required to assemble our German cabinets, and the UCON team assembled them perfectly. When the countertop guy broke a couple of parts, they were able to fabricate replacements that look identical to the new ones. Pleasant to deal with, always on time, they always clean up. No problems. Thumbs up for Andriy and his team.

I recommend UCON without reservation. They are a “best value” cabinet/appliance installer. As a customer you want to be delighted at project completion. And, we were very delighted.

Background: UCON was the subcontractor on our project installing Italian made cabinets (Stosa) and a Dacor appliance package including a panel ready built-in refrigerator, 30” double oven, built-in microwave oven, induction cooktop with Best brand down draft and Miele dishwasher. As a point of reference we had an appliance installation quote from a well-know installation company who works with all the major appliance retailers prior to getting a quote from UCON. The UCON quote was about 40% higher. Without a doubt UCON's cabinet and appliance installation is superior and probably less costly than the other installer at the end. The other installer is familiar with American style cabinets with plenty of margin, but Italian cabinets require a different skill set. UCON owns the entire job. Andriy does the final inspection to make sure you’re delighted with his work.

The installers (Viktor & Alek) took pride in their work; very precise with measurements using lasers to ensure all cabinets were level and fit with uniform tolerance. We developed a strong rapport with them working through a bit of a language barrier. They were great guys. Initially, a bit reserved, but very friendly as we got to know them. The installation hit a rough spot with some custom work we had planned with the prime contractor. We were replacing the pantry door for a seamless look with the new cabinets; and also refacing the bar area cabinets with the same material used in the kitchen. It was a communication problem with the prime contractor not UCON. Andriy, the UCON owner visited several times to discuss strategy with his team and gave explicit instructions on how to do the custom work by modifying cabinet CAD drawings on site. The bar area turned out beautifully. Andriy also offered his design expertise to help us make decisions on finishing touches such as not adding a handle bar to the panel ready dishwasher (would disrupt the flow of the cabinetry); not install 1/2’ aluminum moulding along the base of the cabinets.

Andriy is planning to add countertops to his product offering. Let Andriy own the entire job and then sit back and admire your new kitchen.

Andriy was very responsive to our needs during a very stressful remodel. He even came back out months later to make adjustments to our cabinets and make sure that we were satisfied! We are very pleased with our cabinets thanks to his workmanship and professionalism.

I had an excellent experience working with Andriy and his team at UCon. Andriy is incredibly meticulous—he came out prior to the installation to take precise measurements and ensure everything was properly prepared before his team began work.

We purchased our cabinets from Leicht in Costa Mesa, CA, and Andriy’s team handled the kitchen and bathroom cabinet installation flawlessly. They clearly knew exactly what they were doing and executed the job with great skill and efficiency.

Although there were a few unexpected issues along the way—such as a Sub-Zero refrigerator arriving damaged during shipping, which required us to repeatedly remove and reinstall some panels—Andriy remained patient and professional throughout. Some replacement panels had to be shipped from Germany, but he was very understanding and never pressured us for payment until the entire job was completed to our satisfaction.

His team was consistently professional, punctual, and always showed up in company-branded shirts. Whenever I needed someone to come by, a team member was available within a day. I’m extremely grateful for the high-quality work and customer service provided by Andriy and the entire UCon team.

Andriy and his workers are impeccable: they always show up on time, they are meticulous and show close attention to detail in everything they do. They installed my new kitchen cabinets and appliances to my entire satisfaction. Also, I appreciate the fact that Andriy is always reachable and quick to respond. I definitely recommend them.

UCON Design & Build has done an amazing job on my new home. They are extremely professional. All the installation of my European cabinets and appliances were done efficiently and beautifully. They even went above and beyond to solve a challenge I had with building a strong wood frame to hold my stone wall around my kitchen exhaust hood. When they encounter a manufacturer error they immediately contact the supplier and have the new parts ordered. They always come right back for even the smallest issue with any of my cabinets or appliances until it looks and runs a 100% perfect. If I could get them more stars I would.

I highly recommend EN Design. We are absolutely thrilled with the final product! Sheldon was great to work with on design and finding finishes, and Ella always had good insight and advice. It was really great to be able to see the design in CAD along the way, and Ella and Sheldon were very patient with showing us different options during our decision-making process.

I loved that Nico was very trustworthy and I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us, like some contractors will do. He was always very open and honest about the process. Of course, some things come up along the way with a project as big as ours (2-story addition plus renovating entire existing house), no matter how much planning goes in. But there were always conversations with Nico about everything and I always felt like we were treated fairly and with respect.

After our project was complete, EN has always been very responsive, always coming to fix any issue. This has continued well after the project has ended. They truly stand by their work and I can’t say enough good things about their team.

Very dear clients of mine recommended us to EnDesign - Ella and Nico Gallardo 3.5 years ago. OMG!! They were/are absolutely amazing. Just before COVID shut down, their team began our remodel. Through their tenacity and vision we were still able to see completion of our project within the expected time frame. Most important Ella's eye for design and Nico's ability to figure out every obstacle made an dynamic team. After months of working together during the pandemic, this couple became like family. In turn, I have referred them to several clients who have been equally impressed with their professionalism. Nothing was too small if we had any concerns. Their goal was to please us with our final outcome. We continue to enjoy our little home on the Morgan Run golf course and wish them to drop by with their sweet son, Urie.

My husband and I decided it was finally time to breathe some new life into our outdated home. The big questions were how to do it and who to do it. We were referred by a good friend to Ella and Nico - and they beautifully answered both questions with knowledge, artistry and ability. Their transformation of our 1970s style home into a home for today's way of living was beyond what we could have ever imagined on our own. The ease of working with one team for design and construction made the entire process seamless and, yes, even fun! Both Ella and Nico walked us through every stage of renovation of both our inside and outside spaces. Our project was done on time and fit our budget. I wake up everyday thinking" who lives in this beautiful home?". Thank you to Ella and Nico for making our dream a reality.

Nico, Ella and team were incredible. They handled everything from design to finished project so well. The team helped us shop for the ideal items and when we needed they ordered fixtures for us to keep the project moving on schedule. Nico has a group of subcontractors who were all extremely experienced. They were polite and kept our home spotless and dust free while they did the work. Nico and Ella were on site constantly and he did a lot of the work himself. Ella has a great eye for design and we were thrilled with the final outcome. I would not hesitate to use them for future projects and highly recommend them to friends and family.

To say we had nearly the perfect home remodel construction experience would be no exaggeration. It took us many months and several failed attempts to find the right company for us, our home and our budget. EN Design & Build is that company. Everything they did for us was within our original contract plus several change orders that we asked for. They also estimated our fixtures/materials cost up front and that, too, was within the amount we ultimately spent. With meticulous planning upfront, all materials and fixtures were on site on Day 1 so the work could begin and continue without interruption. Ella and Nico Gallardo and their employees work so well together that to the casual observer, the work was seamless.

From the start, Ella had many great ideas to make our rather standard demolition/remodel of our 2 bathrooms become beautiful additions to our home. She turned us over to Sheldon Price, EN’s designer, who we immediately bonded with and worked with for the duration of our project. He helped us select fixtures and provided a lot of hand holding, too! Communication with the whole team was ongoing and prompt.

Nico is one of the best general contractors we have ever seen. Not only has he worked in construction, he is a trained architect, and understands all aspects of construction in great detail. Nearly everyone who worked at our house works for EN Design & Build so they were “assigned” to us for the duration of our project.

Nico manages everything from demo, framing plumbing electrical, tilework, millwork and all other aspects of construction. All was completed with care and was beautifully executed. The crew was on site daily for nearly 2 months, finishing the project faster than we expected!

Painting of the interior of our entire home was done with no paint drips anywhere. Nico had the painters come back numerous times to do touch up and additional painting just to make sure everything was done to perfection.

The subs Nico brought in for specialty work were so professional and meticulous. They have worked with EN for many years and their close relationship is noticeable in the quality of work they provided.

Nico’s attention to detail is on par with my husband and me (which is saying something!). He spent many hours working with my husband on additional wiring for our electronics as well as other aspects of our build coming up with solutions to various items that cropped up as the remodel continued.

We cannot say enough about EN Design & Build. They are professional, good communicators, on time, within budget, friendly and they leave a clean job site. We are planning “Phase 2” which will involve the outside of our house and we cannot wait to work with Ella, Nico and Sheldon again.

We worked with EN Design and Build to design a 1,000 sq ft attached ADU and really appreciated how they helped us stay focused on our goals. When our ideas started to go beyond what made sense budget-wise, they offered thoughtful reminders of our initial goals and helped us make smart, long-term decisions without losing sight of what we wanted. We’re grateful for their guidance and grounded approach.

We had wanted to remodel our home for some time. After experiencing some water damage we knew it was time. After getting bids from several companies some friends recommended EN Design & Build. We gave them a call and met with them.

After the first meeting we knew we wanted to hire them. Ella was incredibly helpful and worked to clarify our vision. She used her extensive knowledge of design to guide us without ever imposing.

Nico was wonderful and managed to explain everything we needed from a construction standpoint in easy-to-understand terms that made us comfortable.

We were lucky enough to work with Sheldon as our designer. He was wonderful and truly felt like had a personal investment in the project.

They work wonderfully as a team and held our hands through every step of the process. This was our first major project and it took over a year from initial meeting to the end of the project. We never felt concerned or worried about the work, the timeline, the design, or communication.

Accessibility, communication and recommendations were exceptional. So wonderful to work with Ella and Nico on a full relay out of the house! As Spanish speakers they were able to assist with any questions and were always a pleasure to work with!

4.5 stars. The bathroom looks great! The team was communicative and easy to work with. They also did a great job complying with the (extensive) rules of our condo building. The remodel took a bit longer than anticipated but that also had to do with unexpected permitting and coordinating schedules. The bathroom has been complete for a couple months and there are no issues. Would recommend.

We contacted and hired EN Design & Build this past fall at the suggestion of a contractor working on our house. From the moment we met Nico and Ella, we trusted them and knew we wanted to work with them. If you’ve been a homeowner for a while, you know how difficult it can be to find contractors who are both skilled and trustworthy. Nico and Ella spoke our language and “got it.”

They had a very reasonable two part proposal to us within the week and once we agreed on details, they were immediately able to start Part One of our project: cleaning up a major safety issue on our property by tearing down and rebuilding new landscape walls.

Part Two? Landscape design! Nico met with us several times, talking through our vision, our current frustrations with our property, and our functional needs. Mid-Century Modern inspiration? Check. Low maintenance design? Check. Place for our teenager to hang out with her friends? Check. Fruit trees? Check. Better definition of our property? Check. We’re just starting the process to bring this design to life now and can’t wait.

One of the most important parts for us? Nico and Ella themselves were involved in every step of the process, from initial consultation to project completion. They checked in with us constantly and seamlessly communicated with our other contractors. Getting that level of attention from the business owners and creatives from start to finish is everything.

We used EN Design for a complete kitchen remodel. They were on time, clean, trustworthy and professional. Our kitchen went from a 1981 eye sore to a beautiful Modern Farmhouse look. We couldn’t be happier.
