Amazing company from start to finish!! Gloria & Nick are so professional, honest and were readily available to me with anything I needed. The crew came out to do our roof and they all were very punctual, professional and gave me updates throughout the whole process. The clean up crew was amazing, no scraps left behind & Nick was always checking in with updates and any new developments. Gloria was so down to earth, very easy to talk to, and also was able to answer any questions I had. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!! I, 100% would recommend them to my friends & family! Great job to the Build Brothers Team!!!

I had a really positive experience getting an estimate while a home was in escrow. Colton was on time, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through the condition of the roof/HVAC in a way that was easy to understand. The estimate was fair and clearly explained. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy during a busy holiday week—would definitely recommend.

A great experience from start to finish. The roofing crew, led by Jose, did a fantastic job with the roof and made sure everything was clean before they left for the day. The team was always available to address any questions or concerns. Sergio, Jesse, and Christian reinstalled my solar and made sure the system was up and running to my satisfaction before they left. In addition, Kenny and Byron were also available to explain the process.

Build Brothers did a repair job for me after the recent San Diego rains and wind. We noticed discoloration on our ceiling a Saturday morning and knew there was a leak somewhere. I heard about Nick via a referral and he was here later in the afternoon the same day! He climbed on the roof and did his best to inspect. They came back with a quote about a week later which we agreed to for a repair. Other roofing companies wanted to do the whole roof for a small leak which seemed fishy for a 20 year old tile roof. Nick seemed honest and said the roof was in great shape and a repair could be done. Nick made sure there was a seal before the next rain from stopping any other damage and then his crew finished the repair job of new paper and relaying tiles the day after the rain finished. Nick was always reachable via phone which I give 5 stars customer service!

Amazing work. I had a leak on my barbershop roof and Build Brothers came through instantly and took care of it. They also do windows and immediately came to measure and give us a quote. Our experience with Build Brothers for our roofing and solar project was seamless from start to finish. We purchased a total "fixer-upper" home and one of the biggest need was a roof. The previous tar and gravel roof was in desperate need of repair. Byron was great with going over replacement options and helped me through the decision making process. We decided to go with the TPO which looks great and is 1,000X better than the previous material. They took their time with peeling the excess weight of the old roof off, did a complete inspection, and repaired where necessary. There was minimal termite damage, and some water damage (home build in 1968) so that was expected. They replaced and repaired where necessary and Byron kept me updated the entire time. I was never surprised by a large supplemental bill which was a relief considering the overall scope of rehab of the home.

Whenever Byron was not around, Ruth in the office was always ready to answer any questions I had. She was instrumental in getting my expectations met. We were dealing with a complete home overhaul so not having to worry about the roofing progress helped us sleep at night! We also decided to install a 8.2 KW solar system which has been a lifesaver. We are almost completely self sufficient for electricity. In the coming months we will be 100% self sufficient as we are working with Build Brothers to get a Tesla Powerwall 3 for energy storage.

They are highly recommended because of their professionalism and workmanship. Definitely include them in your bidding process if you are considering a new roof and/or solar/battery.

We had Build Brothers do a lift and replace where they lifted the old tile on the roof, replaced the Underlayment and put the tile back down. Evan was our salesman. He actually got on the roof to examine the condition and took pictures showing damaged areas and condition of the Underlayment. Only one other of the 4 companies we had bid did this. By doing this we felt there would be less chance of 'add-on costs. Evan listened to our concerns and explained the process clearly and set expectations. Once the project started the roofers weee on-site everyday working quickly and efficiently. They kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up everyday before going home. They were respectful of our property. At the end of the day they swept the premises with a magneti to pick-up nails. Unlike several companies they used a newer state-of-the-art Underlayment instead of the old 2 layers of tar paper. In negotiating Ian was very easy to work with to make sure the contract defined the details of the work to be completed

I had a roof leak as well as some solar panel issues. I asked around and Build Brothers came highly recommended. Build brothers was able to knock out my roof repair immediately. They diagnosed my solar panels and found that there were 3 faulty optimizers as well as a connection issue with Solar Edge. My tech John Perez was able to fix the connection and replace the optimizer through the panel warranty. Initially, the optimizers were not registering so John diligently kept on Solar Edge until they finally updated my system and all is working well.

The owners Byron and Ian and my project manager Nick made me feel like family and kept me updated regularly.

The professionalism from Ian, Byron, Nick and John as well as the roofers whose names I cannot remember, sorry guys, is outstanding. I 100% recommend Build Brothers.

Evan Greenhalgh at Build Brothers did an awesome job! He and his team installed our solar system and also fixed part of our roof at the same time. The scheduling happened super fast, which took both parties by surprise and and made coordination on our end a little tricky with work and all. Our building, originally constructed in 1968 and converted into condos in 2005, recently reached the point where a new roof was necessary. During the 2005 conversion, a tar and gravel roof was installed, and after 20 years, it was time for an upgrade.

We received four different quotes for the roof replacement, including options for silicone coatings and TPO. Build Brothers stood out immediately with the most thorough inspection. Colton provided a detailed video walk-through of our roof, highlighting specific problem areas along with numerous photos. Their proposal included clear, professional reasoning explaining why a silicone coating wouldn’t be the right choice and why TPO was the best solution for our building.

To top it off, Build Brothers also offered the most competitive pricing of the four bids we received.

We signed with them and initially planned to start the project within a month, but they were able to mobilize a team and begin work the following week. Although the project was estimated to take a little over a week, their crew, managed by Sergio and Israel, worked quickly and efficiently, completing the full tear-off and installation of a 60mil TPO roof in just four days!

Their daily clean-up and final post-project cleanup were thorough, leaving the property spotless. As expected with an older building, some wood from the original 1968 construction was damaged. Build Brothers handled those repairs with care and expertise.

The finished roof looks fantastic, and we've already noticed our building stays much cooler. The entire experience—from communication to execution—was top-notch.
