On the night of June 5th, a pipe burst in our attached neighbor's townhouse and subsequently caused water damage in ours. The following morning we called Servpro of SD and they were at our house immediately. Having experienced water disasters in our townhouse previously, we knew we were in for a long haul. On yesterday, July 30th, our bathroom and garage were ready for use again. From the very beginning we were in good hands. Elia was our project manager and go-to person. She helped us navigate the neighbor's insurance company, our insurance company, HOA, and the various teams required to fix our problem. She explained costs, provided estimates, scheduled appointments. Work was done on time and completed in the time frame as promised. We so much appreciated her calming approach to my initial panic and she was always available to speak with on the phone or was timely in her email replies. Technicians were professional, positive, friendly, efficient, and always left our house in a better condition than how they found it. Teamwork was evident and the technicians were skilled. Thank you Tommy and Edgar for your overall mitigation and mold remediation work. Thank you Mario and Asencio for your incredible demo work and thanks to Rodolfo and Ramon for the mold remediation work. Garrett provided the final mitigation walk-through and Alex was the Repairs project manager. Thank you to them. A giant pat on the back goes to Marco as well. He returned our bathroom and garage back to their original states. Drywall, texturing, painting, baseboards and grouting. Marco is a talented man. We greatly appreciate all of you for helping us get through a very trying time.

I recently experienced a water emergency in my HOA. Servpro of San Diego City SW was professional, fast and efficient. They assess the damage quickly, removed all the water and set up drying equipment the same day. Communication was clear throughout the entire process and they handled everything with care. Freddy Zamora repaired a hole in our ceiling from a water leak. He was on time, very professional and did amazing work. He was extremely meticulous in making sure every detail was taken care of, including cleaning up afterwards.

I have had the pleasure of working with SERVPRO of San Diego City SW in a professional capacity for a number of years. They have always been prompt, responsive, and treated my clients well. I recently had a flood of my own and experienced for myself the same high level of service I have counted on in service of my clients. Great people everywhere from the technicians up through the owners. My flood damage was stressful enough, but this team greatly eased the process of getting my home back together.

Had issues at my place and DryMedic came out quick after my call. Super nice guys, explained everything and got it all dry in a few days. Really happy with the service, they actually care. Would call them again for sure.

.I don’t normally trust reviews online, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. Scheduling was easy and communication stayed consistent the entire time. The garage door wood and trim were badly faded before. Now everything looks even and clean. Neighbors have already asked who did it.

We had a small fire . The a month later it still smelled like smoke. Servpro came by and with 11 people. Crazy right!! Almost fixed everything in one day!! Tomorrow a few people come by in the am to finish it all. Wow!! And they were all so nice and helpfull. Amazing company!!!!!! The place smells great!!!

These people are a scam. They promised a free estimate which was a complete lie.

We called them looking to get an estimate on specific things with my house. Told them we didn’t want to waste anyone’s time, so made sure to ask if they were sure on it being free, it was assured it would be.

They go to the house and set up this camera looking thing on a tripod that I assume was looking around the whole room, did that in every room of the house even though we were very specific that we were looking for wall cleaning, possible painting, ripping out of carpet and if something they offer at a reasonable price new carpet as well. They were full aware of the situation.

So then days go by and still no estimate. Called a few times to be told we’d have it soon. Well on the 3rd day they sent an email of a bill for $250 and still no estimate. Called and spoke to a woman who basically told us too bad, that’s the way it is. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful and mindful of what they say because they will straight up lie to you just to get into your home. Very disappointed

I had a very poor experience with SERVPRO during my home project.

Communication throughout the entire process was unacceptable. Calls and messages frequently went unanswered, and there was almost no follow-up on questions or concerns I raised. I consistently had to chase the project manager just to get basic updates.

The condition the house was left in was also extremely disappointing. The property was dirty, there was a mess left on the patio, and even the toilet was left unflushed. This is not the level of professionalism anyone should expect from a company working inside their home.

To make matters worse, the final results were subpar, and they are now attempting to charge nearly three times the expected cost to replace the carpet. Between the poor workmanship, lack of communication, and the condition my home was left in, I have completely lost confidence in this company.

I would strongly recommend using a different restoration contractor.

Update: 06 March 2026. After leaving a response about connecting, they did not call.

TL;DR: ServPro’s remediation team was excellent, but the reconstruction process was plagued by poor communication, delays, and unacceptable workmanship that required additional out-of-pocket repairs. While a partial refund was issued, the experience was frustrating and avoidable. I recommend hiring your own contractor for reconstruction.

FULL REVIEW: I hired ServPro for both water remediation and reconstruction. The remediation team was excellent! They were communicative, timely, and truly exceptional in customer service. Elia treated my home as a priority and ensured I was informed daily. That experience was so smooth that I chose to continue with ServPro for reconstruction, assuming the same level of care. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

From the start, communication and scheduling became unclear. Cabinet measurements were taken, but the cabinets ordered didn’t fit my kitchen. I was later told they only come in one size, raising the question of why measurements were ever needed. The cabinets were installed on stilts, leaving exposed wall damage, an unacceptable result from a “professional rebuild team.” Installation was delayed multiple times and ultimately performed incorrectly.

Deadlines for flooring, appliance installation, and plumbing were repeatedly missed without honest explanation. I ultimately had to hire my own contractor just to finish the work. Plumbing connections were reinstalled improperly, and the drywall team covered my microwave outlet with no access point, both of which required costly fixes.

When I escalated my concerns to senior leadership, the blame was placed on me, the client, which was frustrating and dismissive.

Eventually, Josh reached out to discuss my grievances. He refunded the portion of work that was not completed and offered an additional credit for the inconvenience. While I appreciate that gesture, it doesn’t erase the stark contrast between the outstanding remediation experience and the poorly managed reconstruction.

What should have been a straightforward process turned into delays, added expenses, and avoidable errors. ServPro’s remediation team truly deserves credit, but based on this experience, I recommend seeking your own reconstruction contractor. ServPro’s reconstruction division needs serious improvement in communication, workmanship, and accountability.

We always have a great experience! Mr. Elha and his team are professional, reliable, and extremely skilled. He arrives on time, explains everything clearly, and completes the work efficiently with great attention to detail. The quality of the work is excellent, and he always makes sure everything is clean and finished properly before leaving. It’s hard to find someone this dependable, and we truly appreciate his honesty and craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy handyman and will gladly hire him again for future projects.

Shawn and his team did great work closing our loft room, adding a new wall and door, as well and installing ceiling lighting and a new switch. He was very communicative and quickly got back to us when we were looking for quotes. The work was done well and they were able to work quickly on the days they were here. We would definitely use Arrow Remodeling again in future home projects.
