We just had Shelton and his crew here to refinish the deck around my pool and patio. They did an amazing job! He was punctual every morning, communicative, and started and finished the job within the time quoted. The pricing was very reasonable, as well. ICS went above and beyond. When they encountered a couple of minor issues, they made reasonable recommendations to address them and took care of them without any additional delays or cost. They were attentive to detail and cleaned up nicely each day before they left. I highly recommend them if you need assistance with your pool deck or any other concrete coatings you may need. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'll post some photos after I mow and get my yard put back together!

We recently had Innovative Concrete Solutions resurface our driveway, backyard, and pool spa area, and the results exceeded our expectations. The transformation—especially around the pool and spa—completely refreshed the area. The crew was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented throughout the project. Shelton stripped and refinished my stamped concrete patio. He took it from looking faded, dull and milky looking to looking brand new again. It was so ugly before, I hated being out there. Now it is beautiful and the joy of being out on the patio has returned. Great job!

Sheltonn and team rock! They have done the second job at my residence. They did a great job painting my patio (over 1,000 sq. ft.). They painted over stain so that took extra work to ensure adherance. They are fast, efficient and did scroll work in the process, making the patio elegant! I would stronly recommend using this teat for your concrete needs!

I have been dealing with an old concrete pool deck with hydrostatic water pressure issues for many years. I had other concrete refinishing companies tell me they Did not want to handle the project and referred me to Shelton at Innovative concrete surfaces. Shelton came up with a water based sealer solution with nano staining. After the winter's heavy rains the water issue of course returned. But the water based solution allowed for easy touch up. Shelton and Arturo returned to take care of this recently. Looks great now.

I had some really ugly faded concrete both from and back. Shelton and his assistant Arturo did a great job refinishing both areas. They took care of my property and we're very professional. Probably will have them come back to reseal my garage floor.

Shelton did a fantastic job renovating my old cracked, peeling, faded pool deck. He completely removed the old surfacing and built up a new textured surface that looks amazingly good! The work was done professionally and neatly, making sure to protect the surrounding landscaping.

Shelton did a fantastic job restoring our 23 year old front walkway and back patio. Both front and back were stamped concrete and for 23 years had not had any sealer applied to avoid sun damage. The concrete was severely faded, as evidenced by the photos. Shelton's work at our home included refinishing mow strips around our yard and concrete caps that we have for benches.

Shelton and Arturo brought the concrete back to its original look and condition. I appreciated their working with my wife and me to select colors that were so near the original that you can't tell the difference.

Shelton was flexible on start dates for the project and showed up at our home punctually. Clean up at the end of each day and at the end of the project was superb.

I can't say enough about his workmanship, desire to ensure we were happy with the job, and flexibility with selecting colors.

I highly recommend Shelton and Innovative Concrete Surfaces. We will be calling Shelton out on an annual basis to apply sealer and avoid the sun damaged concrete that we previously had.

As an aside, we had artificial turf installed in our front yard two weeks after Shelton completed his work, and the lead on the turf project was admiring the front concrete walkway. He asked if it had been poured in the last couple months... that's how nice the project turned out.

Shelton did a fabulous job restoring our driveway and providing a finishing coat to our pool deck that made a huge difference in its appearance. He and Arturo are an awesome team. He provides clear and detailed explanations regarding the work he’ll do. He’s a perfectionist and truly delivers work that far exceeds customer expectations. My wife and I are really finicky when selecting contractors. Shelton’s right at the top of our list for best contractors. Our driveway and pool deck really pop and we’re delighted with his work which was completed at a very fair price!

Needed a two car epoxy job done in a hurry before our movers were schedule to come.

Shelton was prompt and professional, he described our options and ensured he could get the job done with enough time for the floors to cure.

The garage looks great and they finished with plenty of time. Shelton completed early giving us more peace of mind regarding curing time!

We absolutely LOVE our new backyard! Everyone we worked with (Lacy, Eric, Ken, RC, and Mike) were professional, courteous, and put up with all my questions. When I had an idea about the design, they went ahead and got pricing for it. When I didn't love any of the choices that were originally presented (example: the firepit glass rock choices for on top), I asked for other choices and we found the one we loved! When we needed to meet, they worked around our schedules. Beautiful landscaping. What started out as just a pool and spa, became an entire backyard project! And we love it! ❤️ ❤️❤️

I will include finished project pictures and a few before (we had just bought the house, so the original backyard design was not of our choosing).

Regret !!I I should have chose a different pool company. The common themes from other customers are consistent. Poor/ inconsistent communication, damage to our residence / property, trash and debris left for weeks, failed inspection due to safety related corners being cut, arbitrary price changes and more.

For example: a safety mechanism to prevent electrical shock was not completed
to code. I was told to lie in order to pass inspection. We failed inspection. I have the video !

A unilateral price change was decided by
Lacy and I was expected to sign and agree without consult.

The contracted electrician left the electrical box wide open during a storm. A heavy amount of rain filled the inside of the electrical box and on the breaker. (Pictures attached) .

The trencher recklessly damaged a gas line and electrical conduit instead of lifting the lines out of the ground. (I have the videos)

A window was broken by workers. Not only was I not told about the damaged window - it took close to 6 months of repeated requests to have it repaired. Over 6 missed “replacement appointments “. Ultimately the replacement window was broken.

My concrete driveway was snapped. I was told that it would be repaired. Later that changed full circle.

In February, I asked for arbitration for the unresolved issues. Now after almost 2 months of stalling - still no arbitration.

Things fell apart after the initial sale. I should have questioned their ethical frame work when the process started out with a request to back-date the contract. It only got worse. Sadly, I have more examples of poor workmanship if needed. This pool project that has begun in August 2025 is still not complete.

With all of these major problems before the pool is complete - do you think they will stand behind their product after it’s complete ?

Choose wisely, I didn’t.
