Absolutely reprehensible company with contemptible business practices

Terrific design team and excellent work on the tile, stone and pavers. Like any big project there were challenges, I appreciated that Pacific Sun allocated extra resources and solved problems when they came up.

Horrendous communication. Both with the customer as well as the project supervisors to the subcontractors. If I wasn't working from home many parts would not have been done correctly or at all. Even so, they had to redo many parts of the build simply due to poor planning. The drainage had to be redone four times!!!

They won't let you pay with credit because of the 3% charge but waste 10% of their profit redoing work due to poor design and planning. Ridiculous.

For anything that was done a little shoddy they just chalk it up to "industry standard". Just means, it isn't that great and we aren't going to do anything about it. They also left about nine small parts of projects incomplete and have ghosted me ever since. There are a ton more examples of a poor experience but I don't have time to write a book.

Like another reviewer I have been asked for referrals from friends and have steered them clear of this company. (sadly, I've talked with many others using different companies and they've had the same experience. I think the industry as a whole strives for D+ work)

I call this company(if you can call it a one) and left a voicemail about a complaint on one of his drivers. Guy was pumping gas and was not acting normal like he was on something. After he finish putting gas he stayed on the vehicle and didnt care about others making line waiting for him move, when we ask for him to move he just show us a piece or paper and his phone basically saying he was doing some paper work. I dont think that was the time and place to do it when others are waiting in line for gas. guy didnt have any courtesy at all, so I call this business and left a messages about this matter and requested a call back but they never did, so I end up calling them back, got a hold of a supervisor and she was questioning me instead of just listen, I was just trying to let them know the way the driver was acting didnt look good for the business but after reading other reviews I see why they dont care and also why the supervisor was so unprofessional. I am not going to say all works from this company are the same but really hurts the business when you have people like this in your company. I will write my review in social media and also on my YouTube channel...Good Luck.

The worst experience we ever had during our new pool build out. They are out there to get you. don't trust their sales people, they discuss and tell you what you want to hear, but then the contract don't match what agreed on. No Mastic was done, they said its not specified in the contract, like you know what mastic means when your out shopping for swimming pool, the lights were placed regular white color not LED multiple colors as agreed on. Asked to talk to owner and of course no results, he wants more money. I told him I am not happy and will not recommend him to any one I know and might express my experience on yelp. The owner then goes threatening me and said (I know where is your business and would go on your business yelp and leave bad reviews to hurt your bushiness if you leave bad reviews) This person I did not provide hi with any services and he is threatening me for defamation. This is a total threat by an immoral individual that would go unfaithfully and slander you for retaliation and not based on truth.

Watch out

Was very excited to have Jesse and Lea service our pool as they are a family business. Would much rather give business to a family. They accepted the job, and was advised they would come out on Thursday. Traveled 15 minutes from work before their estimated time to put the dogs in, received an email that they would need to come the next day. Great, no problem, called them several times around 3:00pm and texted. Received a text back that they would not service our pool with no explanation. Very unprofessional and disturbing!

The people so are kind and helpful! Quick to answer any questions about my services wanted. Then when I saw the finished product I was amazed that they made it more beautiful than I could ever imagine!! So happy with choosing Pacific Sun.

They are doing a complete back yard and pool remodel. The project is over do and l have not seen them for over a week. No communication on when the project will be completed. I will keep you updated.

We couldn’t have been more happier with Pacific Sun Pools and the end result. Our pool and backyard exceeded our expectations. Pacific Sun and Pools was incredibly attentive and communicative through out the process. They clearly explained the different options and the trade offs, gave their opinion and never pushed us one way or another

Well after spending close to $300,000 and two years later, not a single person called to ask if we were happy with the pool and yard that was installed. No call from the owner thanking us for the business. Never a call to see if there is any problems or concerns. It the last two years I have had many friends ask who did our pool and referred them elsewhere. Once the sale was made never heard from the sales guys again. The crew who did the work were awesome. Still having issues with our spa because of design error. Have to use a shopvac to get any kind of jets to work. After all the money it shouldn't work that way.

Pacific Sun Pool N Spa built my pool and spa in the 90's, then in 2013 the company remodeled my backyard, built a pizza oven and rebuild/resurfaced the pool. During all those years they have been servicing my pool on a weekly basis. I have always received great professional service and quick attention to any issue at hand. Blake Patchen has been servicing the pool for the last few years and he is the best, reliable and always friendly! I can recommend the company full-heartedly!

Have had Pacific Sun do work on two of my homes (Pool, Spa, Landscape and Hardscape). We could not have been happier each time. Top notch results. Buyer Beware! We hired Pacific Pool & Spa to build our pool in 2021 and they were great sales people. Lacey was responsive and communicated great but after 9 months they still had not broken ground. We called every month about permits and starting and they just kept saying you're next. When they finally came out to start they said the change orders would be $80,000 for a couple minor changes. At that point we made the decision to fire them and said we can do it on our own. Then from there Pacific Sun SUED us for breach of contract! Pac Sun didn't do anything for basically 10 months and they sued us for breach. I would never recommend anyone to use them. Terrible service, terrible values, and just bad ethics.

We were looking to build a custom pool with a spa. Lacy was amazing when she called to coordinate the meeting. She was on time and very friendly during our initial interview. She told me she will send me an estimate within few weeks and if we like the quote she’ll come in for in person design review of our pool. We agreed to the estimate and wanted to move forward. Meeting was rescheduled a couple times (no big deal) last time it was rescheduled due to her getting sick, which I totally understand. She told me she will email me the design over the weekend because she feels bad as we had to reschedule so many times. Well, it’s been two months. I left several messages I’m still waiting for my design. I am glad this happened before we signed a contract. I left a message on a the main number because you cannot talk to a real person either no call back. Very disappointed.

Lacy and her staff did an amazing job of designing the pool. Ken is an outstanding project manager who did a great job making sure that the various construction crews were scheduled and ensured that their workmanship was of high quality. Blake did an awesome job of teaching me how to use the pool and spa. He provides superior pool service on a weekly basis. During the whole process, Pacific Sun Pool and Spa has exceeded my expectations!

After many years of staring at my underwhelming pooI area, I finally did a much needed overhaul. This included redoing the pool surface, tile, coping, and surrounding concrete. I couldn't be happier with how beautiful and functional this project turned out. The designers were very helpful guiding me toward concrete, tile, and pebble tech selections that appeal to my taste. All the crews that came out were, efficient, quick, professional, friendly, and were great about cleaning up after their work. This remodel was worth every dime. Talk about an upgrade! I am in awe of how huge the transformation is, and there's no question I picked the right company to work with. I am experiencing zero "buyer's remorse." Thank you Pacific Sun Pool and Spa for making me fall in love with my new outdoor living space. I can't wait to entertain in it this year.
