The work these guys did was awesome and innovative communication. had to leave on a business trip, gave them access to my home and managed to work in my home during that time. They finished before expected, and everything looks great. The communication was great, we set up a group chat for daily progress. definitely would hire them again.

CUSTOMER BEWARE FRAUD Patriot Construction despite me cancelling in the 3 day window, billed my credit card and misrepresented the charges saying I purchased merchandise in order to defraud me of over $580. I will be posting proof of this and they have a connection with a known felon (SEE Shamrock Construction) The articles of incorporation are owned by a felon who is incarcerated for multiple crimes. I am filing complaints with appropriate government agencies but if you deal with them, (THEY DO NO CONSTRUCTION THEY BID IT OUT) you may get ripped off too, placing this for the sole purpose of warning other consumers and I can prove all that I state.

Mr McNutt aka Brennus never addressed my issues and his attorney would have contacted me regarding issues. Consumer Beware

I will post the lawsuit as they were cited in my complaint to the construction board, told to refund, said I should “ reach out”. I don’t want to reach out I want my refund!

These guys are great!
Wr needed a Patio Cover and had looked around a bit. Prices seemed a bit high. I saw Patriot at a home show and agreed to an estimate.
Trintan arrived at our home right on time and was very nice. He showed us different covers that they had already installed and they all looked great!
The price was 30% less than the nearest qualified installer, and the warranty is the same, so we signed up.
What a great decision!
The workers arrived on the agreed day and had our old cover demoed and the new one installed within 2 days (they asked for 3!).
Everything is just as promised and we could not be happier.
Do we recommend Patriot? Well, let me just say, after seeing the work, we have now contracted with them for a kitchen remodel!

Our experience with Patriot Construction Pros, Inc. was great. They did a complete roof job and new insulation in the attic for us. Removing the 2 existing roofs and installing the new roof and new insulation was completed in less than 1 week (seven days). JUST IN TIME for the big rainstorm here in San Diego, CA. Both crews were courteous and prompt they cleaned up every day. I feel that this is a great company to do business with. All of the people that I had contact with from this company were professional and knowledgeable. The most important part of this review is the fact that my wife is very happy with job done for us by Patriot Construction Pros, Inc. We would not hesitate to work with them again. Respectfully

The absolute best contractor in the city of San Diego! My house and condo both threw curveballs at them and they hit homeruns with everything! They can make things work that seem impossible and overwhelming! Yay K-Co!

Our family had a bathroom remodel done in 2011 so that my father could come home after breaking his hip.. KCO did a fabulous job starting with the design and ending with a very lovely handicap accessible waterproof bathroom on budget. This allowed my father to remain and be cared for in his own home. Not only that, the Moen fixtures have a lifetime guarantee and KCO was very responsive to order and install replacement parts for our shower handle and sink stopper. I will always be grateful to KCO for their excellent workmanship and customer service. All their employees are trustworthy and great to work with and treat you like family. Thanks KCO. You are the best!

This is long... The short story is YES, K-Co Construction is great and will build you the best house. I had to shorten this to fit the space!!!

After going to Del Mar home show and interviewing 9 contractors at our home, at our south-west (Clairemont Village) home, we chose KCo-Construction. Yes... That's me. I need to talk with everyone and I’m picky.

We made the best decision choosing Chad Gardener and KCo. We have built a residential home and a commercial space and have a medium good idea as to what we need in a contractor. For me, communication, competency and integrity are very important. Through this whole project, KCo maintained the most professional, communication, work ethic, integrity, capability that I could ever imagine coming from a construction company.

We did a complete remodel. We switched the kitchen to the back of the house, added a master bedroom wing with a master bathroom and master closet. We added a garage, made 2 beautiful bathrooms. We literally designed the house and KCo refined it, and built it to our specs.

The relationship first starts with Chad, the owner of the company. Chad has been in construction most his life as KCo is a family business. One thing very cool about this and KCo, is that they are very community and family oriented, supporting many events in the Clairemont community (and that made a difference for us). They live here and support here. Which is another interesting thing about KCo, is they don't take projects to far from here. What this means is when something goes funky, (as will happen in construction), the project manager is very close to deal with it. This happened several times and BOOM, he was there to manage it. You don't have to wait. Chad knows construction. I appreciated the way he looked at our house and talked us through what needed to be done. He worked with us on our design and his guidance was invaluable.

Our project manager was Brian Beagle. I cannot say enough how great Brian has been. I think one of the most important things a PM needs to be able to do, is manage the client. We asked a lot of questions and were on site almost every single day. He managed us well. He managed his subs well. One of the coolest things is we felt he always had our back and wanted us to have what we wanted. He was also very fun to hang out with as the house was being built. Their internal team, David, Trevor and Nick are also great, ethical and professional.

We have now been in our house over 2 months. We love our house. It came out GREAT. What I am most impressed by is the level of construction. As I said, we have had a couple builds and have some idea as to what we are looking for. This house is solid.

As you look around town at the houses KCo is building, you will notice this. The design, construction and livability. And they have been building some very cool houses. They really are the best and our experience was awesome. My wife is happy and was comfortable working with them. We highly recommend them.

PS.... One more thing... Our house was being completed during the time of CornaVirus. They were a month away from completion when the shut down orders started coming. We were living in an apartment and I am immune-compromised. I felt we needed to get home to feel safe. KCo busted their butts to get the house ready a month early so we could move in before we would not be able to. That is dedication to your client. I cannot say enough good about these guys.

K-CO recently completed a huge remodel to our home, almost doubling our square footage, and we couldn't be happier! From start to finish, they were very professional and friendly. Juan was very attentive to our needs, and very thorough overall. From budget to plans to permits to build, they are more than worth the price. If you need a business to take care of your entire remodel, I highly recommend checking them out!

K-Co recently finished a complete remodel of our kitchen and home on Mt Etna. Through the entire process they were awesome. I have never had an experience like this where they under promised everything and completely over delivered! Chad and Juan were the best, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We had others bid the job, but so glad we went with K-Co and will definitely use them in the future.

We interviewed 4 contractors before hiring K-Co for our almost complete tear-down and addition. Previously, we had worked with 5 different contractors on various homes that we have owned. Some were good, some were ok, and one was bad. None of the good ones came close to the quality and integrity of K-Co. We originally chose K-Co because they were local, had great reviews, an impeccable BBB rating, and good references. Some of the other contractors we talked with had fancier websites and extremely polished sales pitches. We could have gone with one of them. I am so glad we chose K-Co instead. From start to finish, I never worried about our project being in Chad and Brian’s hands. Chad (the owner) was always very responsive, sometimes emailing me back practically the moment I sent my question. He worked very hard to make sure our extensive house remodel and addition was progressing through the design and permit process and even went to the city himself when fire review held us up. He was very conscious of our budget and timelines since we were living elsewhere while the work was being done. When the construction was underway and handed over to the foreman, Brian, we continued to have an excellent experience. As with any construction project, unexpected issues came up. Throughout it all, Brian kept us informed, went through our options, and continued to make sure the project was progressing even when one aspect would get held up. We always felt completely comfortable asking questions no matter how minor, and Brian would always give detailed responses so we knew exactly what was going on. My husband and I are both very detail oriented (my husband re-created our entire house with each stud location, electric line, pipe placement, etc. in sketch-up) and we’re glad K-Co was as well. While our project grew larger than we originally expected which pushed back the completion date, they finished three days earlier than they projected once the total scope of the project was known. Now that we’ve moved in, we can relax and enjoy our beautiful home knowing that everything was done right.
