City First was dispatched through American Home Shield in response to an issue with the main circuit breaker in my panel. My panel is very old, late 70s, there are a number of left over circuit breakers that are no longer in use. I tried to explain that to the tech however he ignored me. He stated that my panel was overloaded and that was the cause of the main breaker failure. His recommendation was to 1. Have an electrical engineer redesign a new panel for me. 2. Upgrade to 400 amp service. 3. Replace my panel. My current panel is a 400 amp panel, I already have 400 amp service so his recommendations didn’t make sense. I have had two other electricians confirm that my panel is not overloaded. The breaker failure was likely age. In the end, the assumptions made by City First Electric caused my home warranty claim to be denied, costing me more money. While they were prompt and pleasant to deal with, I do not recommend them based on my experience with their tech.

I've had so many maintenance companies come to our apartment for repairs but I have rarely had anything good to say. From beginning to end this was honestly the best customer service within a company I have experience. The receptionist that scheduled our emergency electrical issue was incredibly helpful and very friendly. She helped us get assistance the same day which rarely happens. The tech that came to find the issue was also super friendly, even waited for us to get home since we weren't aware they were on their way. He was very patient, found the problem without issue, and fixed it within the hour. It was altogether a great experience and while we don't get to choose which vendors our complex uses, I would 100% of the time request this company for any and all electrical issues. Wish they did plumbing as well because I'd use them for all repairs if possible! This is how you treat customers and continue to get lots of business! Thank you!

My property management company engaged their services to install a phone for internet access. They were extremely professional and efficient. Karina called prior to schedule an appointment for the electrician to come and install the phone line and phone jack. Steve was the electrician that came and did an excellent job. He was punctual, respectful of our property, professional, courteous and followed all the Covid safety guidelines, including wearing a mask and practiced social distancing. We hired CET to bring our new/old 1940's home up to code and add a few 220 Volt outlets. Their response was prompt and very reasonable, I plan to use CET in the future for improvements to our house.

A bathroom switch in a tenant family bathroom wasn't working. CET Electric was quick to respond to my questions sent via the Yelp link. Karina, the office manager, maintained excellent communication prior to and after the scheduled work. The CET electrician who was at the property resolved the problem in fewer than 20 minutes. The tenant family was very happy with the issue being resolved. I definitely can see calling CET Electric again in the future if there is a future electrical problem that needs to be solved.

Did everything perfectly and was very knowledgeable

We had CET Electric install two outdoor lights and relocate one of the electrical boxes. Stephen did a fantastic job. He explained everything and went over the progress at each step. He was super professional, efficient, and got the job done. Afterwards, he cleaned up everything and left everything looking great. Their prices were very fair as well. The lights look amazing!
