This carpet cleaning company is one you can count on. They have cleaned our carpets two times—once when we moved into a new house, and again after a big red wine spill. The first time, they did a deep clean before we settled in, and the carpets looked and smelled fresh when they finished. from start to finish, this was a really professional and high quality carpet cleaning service. they came to clean my sectional couch and area rug after we had a leak. not only did they show up early and did an excellent job getting all the dirty water out of our furniture, but jamie was also so great with my dog (lots of pats to keep her relaxed while someone new was here) and with my fiance while i was at work. i would recommend john's carpet cleaning to anyone and would definitely use them again if needed, no question.

Not reliable for appointments. Made an appointment with them for between 3-5pm and came home from work early to make this time window. No one ever showed up. I called and they expanded the window from 2pm-7pm for my appointment, but no one showed up. Called and they said sometime tomorrow with no time window.

Decided to call back the next day to give them another chance and we made an appointment. No one ever showed up or communicated that they wouldn’t come. Called that night and they said they would call back ASAP for a more accurate time window for the next day, but never called back.

Waste of time waiting multiple days for a cleaning that never happened. Ended up going with a different vendor. They did reach out after multiple days of silence, but we already got our rug cleaned.

i had a really great experience with this carpet cleaning company! as a first responder, i was able to get a small discount, which was a nice touch. after i filled out their online form, they got back to me really fast. their website is easy to use, way better than some others i've seen with old info and outdated prices. one of the owners, ross, even called me himself to introduce himself and offer to come out. i asked for an estimate to clean the carpets in my 3 bedroom ranch home here in san francisco, where i don't have too much furniture. i also asked about cleaning the two bathroom floors. ross was honest and said the bathroom floors looked fine and didn’t need cleaning, which made me feel like they really care and aren't just trying to sell extra services. i decided to get the floors cleaned anyway because i just don’t like cleaning and wanted it all fresh. when the team came out, jamie and landon, they were super friendly, polite, and professional. they used pretty modern equipment and got the job done quickly. the carpets dried in about six hours, so i didn’t have to deal with wet floors for days, which was awesome. i probably won't need to use them again soon since the carpet is pretty old and we might replace it, but i’ll definitely recommend them to friends and family. the house smells and looks so much better now. also, jamie and landon arrived right within the time window they promised, not like those cable guys who show up late. i was really impressed. 10/10!

The first time, I needed carpet cleaning to get rid of pet hair and dander at a rental property, and the results were excellent. Ross was the technician and he was very professional, making the carpets look fresh and clean. Because of the great service, I called them again for another rental, where the carpets and two area rugs were heavily stained from the last tenants. A new guest was coming soon, so I needed the job done quickly. They were able to schedule the steam cleaning for the very next day, and Earl, the technician, worked hard to get all the tough stains out. The carpets looked so good afterwards that even our housekeeping staff thought we wouldn’t need to replace them after all. The technicians arrived right on time both times and finished within the timeframe they promised. They also gave me a discount for being a repeat customer, which made me feel appreciated. I’ll definitely call them again for any future carpet cleaning needs.
