Tom is very responsive, does quality work, communicates clearly, and is fairly priced. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I used him in October and today I had a second urgent job. I called him at 11am and he was onsite working at 1pm!!!

Tom removed three stumps from my front yard and lots of roots. His work is superb and is of a good value. He is very knowledgeable and gets the job done in an expeditious way.

Tom stopped by and provided an estimate on the grinding of the stump from a plum tree that had gotten diseased and which we had taken down. The estimate and timeframe he provided were reasonable. He suggested we apply root killer to the stump and give it time to drain down to the roots. Two weeks later he came by with the grinder and in about 30 minutes he had finished. Tom is a very pleasant guy, chatty, dependable and just the person you would want to call for a job like this.

This guy came to remove two big stree stumps and a few small ones and did a fantastic job. Even before he was engaged to do the work, he gave a full verbal description followed up with an email on all the works involved and even gave advice on what to do after the stump was removed. I had gotten three qoutes from three different guys and Tom had us convinced from that day he first came to check out the stumps. I would recommend Tom for stumps to anyone who needs this type of work done in their yard.

I had a dead tree in my front yard that had fallen over the day before. I went on to Yelp to look for tree removal guys. I started to call a few companies on that same day (Friday) and leaving messages—and getting no call backs. Realizing that no one is probably going to pick up at the end of the week/Friday, I figured that this job might have to wait until the following week. But I'm busy then and wanted to take care of this problem over the weekend.

So I figured I'd try to call first thing in the morning the few companies that were listed as "Open on Saturday." After calling two others, Tom from Tom 4 Stumps actually answered. And after talking for a bit, I could soon tell that that he knows what he's talking about and doing in the field—as I've had to deal with a few tree removal jobs in the past. He was very good at explaining potential problems and cause-and-effect issues when trying to remove a tree from its surrounding landscape.

Tom did great meticulous work, and felt like he cared for the property as if he was the owner. He is very courteous, professional, and... ON TIME! I'll use him again for sure, or at least recommend him to anyone. Thanks again, Tom!

I had my avocado tree stump removed in my back yard. Tom came promptly for the quotation & explained clearly about the process. He even came back on the same day to remove the stump. The stump was removed efficiently & beautifully.

I was looking to have a stump ground down and found Tom online. On his website, I filled out my contact information. He called me within 20 minutes, on a Sunday, no less. Based on the answer to his questions, he gave me a rough estimate and asked when I would like it done. I said any time. He responded that he could do it today, within an hour. I agreed. He showed up on time, was courteous and layed out exactly what he would do. He finished on time and cleaned up nicely. I would use him again for the next stump to be ground up.

We had a 24" diameter tree stump ground down by Tom. We called him and he was able come out the next day. Tom is personable, courteous, and professional. We were able to use the wood chips as mulch in our yard. We like being able to support a small local business. who does such a great job. Please don't hesitate to use his service.

Tom is very fast in responding, very reliable, and works hard to get the job done right. He explained everything to me, shook my hand, and got the job done. One of the easiest projects I have had to do, thanks to his communication and diligence and respect for my time. He did a great job and I was very pleased to have met him!

Tom was fantastic! I called for a quote for stump grinding and was worried my timeline was too tight for someone to come out- he was here the very next day, told us exactly what his approach would be, and was ready with his equipment to get started. I can't believe how efficient his process was, he had a huge plywood shield to divert all the mulch and left everything in great shape. Will absolutely be calling him again if the need arises. Overall an excellent experience. Tom wasn’t able to remove my large yucca tree, but he was able to recommend someone who would. He then came back to remove the stump. Everything went very smooth.

Tom is a personable and professional guy. He made the whole process of grinding the stump in my front yard easy. From the booking (next day!) to the job itself, sharing advice and explaining exactly what he was going to do. I appreciated his integrity and kindness. Oh! and the price was right, too.

If you need stumps and roots removed, why use anyone else. Tom worked with me like a friend on my privet root debacle. He was honest and upfront about every aspect of the job and work needed and eventually performed. Its refreshing to recieve such caring and professionalism from a business owner who takes his reputation as serious as every customer should expect a business owner to. His work was impeccable, so much I tipped him extra and thanked him for allowing me to. He showed up early and went above and beyond the agreed work in record time. I hired Tom to remove a 3' stump left over from the removal of an incense cedar. I found the experience really easy, from getting in touch with him to scheduling, to the actual day of. I was very happy with the outcome and Tom was very good at making sure there were no surprises. Thanks Tom!

I had a good experience with Tom when I needed a stump removed. He gave me a quote right away, was very flexible with scheduling and came when it was most convenient for me. Every time I wrote to him, he answered messages right away. When he started, he explained in great detail what he was going to do, gave me the chance to ask questions, prepared the place for safety, and removed the stump efficiently and quickly. Would call again next time I have to remove a stump.

We recently had Tom grind two tree stumps from our yard. When I called Tom, he explained the process thoroughly, and said he was available right away, which was great. When he started the project, he put up a wooden barrier around the site so that wood chips would not be scattered. He was able to grind out the stumps quickly and was very professional in his work. I would highly recommend Tom.

Sent an email from Tom's website, within 10 minutes he called me and we discussed what I needed. We agreed on a quote and he set a time over the phone. Tom was able to make it sooner than expected and after discussing the job, he went to work.
Tom was very clear and up front with what was going to happen and what could happen during the work. He went to it and an hour later he was on his way. I would, without hesitation, recommend him if you need small trees removed or stumps cleared.

Tom was very quick to respond our request and very accommodating to our needs. He was able to remove two stumps for us the same day we contacted him. While on site, Tom discovered a third, older stump we had missed and also removed it for a very reasonable additional fee without upselling or pressuring us.

Tom is very good about social-distancing, wearing a mask, and observing all pandemic-related safety protocols while on the job. Tom works quickly and efficiently and left the job site clean and tidy.

I’m very new to all this, and Tom took the time to explain everything and offered personalized advice given narrow access to my yard, potential risks to storm drains, and helped me make well informed decisions.

He’s also very respectful with the property.

We needed to get a stump ground out and Tom was awesome. I texted the phone number listed on his website and he got back to me in a few minutes. I sent him a picture and he quoted the price of the stump removal and was able to come and do the work in a day.
