We had an excellent experience with JC Castenada Tree trimmers. We had a very large Colorado Spruce fall & they took care of removing it from our neighbors driveway. They were excellent, prompt & cleaned all the area immediately. They have done tree trimming for us in the past & they were also so efficient & totally professional including cleaning the area involved. I would highly recommend their services.

I would highly recommend JC Tree Experts and would hire them again in the future. I was able to get an estimate on tree removal quickly and the price was the lowest that I found. Communication was easy through text. I appreciate that this is a family-owned small business that is local and licensed. The work was excellent. There was a snag on our end in making the payment because I was traveling at the time and Javier patiently worked with me to solve the problem. Great experience!

JC Tree Experts did an excellent job removing a 50 year old 60+ foot Deodar Cedar from in front of our home. Made sure of safety, protection of our windows, and fabulous clean up. They also crowned our ginkgo and pruned our 50 year old mulberry tree. They were efficient and professional. We will definitely hire them again

We have always used JC Tree Service to care for our beloved Japanese Maple. The amount of care that Marcos and his team have always given to our Maple has been stellar! They understand the monetary value that a tree has for a homeowner. When I call Marcos to evaluate our Maple, his recommendation is not always to trim the Maple. He understands that trees do not get manicured in the wild. Sometimes, he does suggest some minor trimming. Knowing that JC Tree Service isn't in business to trim all trees, no matter what, gives me the confidence that I'm not being taken advantage of financially.

We also have Queen Palms in our backyard. My husband has maintained those since they need constant trimming. This year, one of our palms snapped in half. We knew that we needed JC Tree Service to come out and help. Marcos responded to our call, and within an hour, he and his team were on site and cutting down the snapped palm and a second palm that we no longer wanted. They came back the following day to grind out the stumps. The quick responses, professionalism, and fair pricing give me the confidence to recommend JC Tree Service to anyone looking for tree servicing!

We recently hired JC Tree Experts to remove / stump grind the Modesto Ash tree in the front. The tree is dead. I searched on Yelp and contacted Javier C. from JC Tree Experts. He responded and visited in person in a couple hours and sent me a quote by the next day. Their pricing is reasonable. He is a certified arborist and provided me with an arborist report as required by the City.

They are very busy, but Javier tried his best to give me time for his schedule. His crews showed up earlier on the scheduled day, they did an amazing job.

When I got in contact with them I was able to get an in person estimate quickly, where Javier Jr explained all the work to be done based on my requests; he was thorough in his explanations and I never felt rushed throughout the process. He followed up with a very reasonable estimate for the job.

JC Tree Experts is the company to call if you need a report from a certified arborist and then masterful, safe and careful execution removing a problematic tree. Ours was a very tall (~130ft), dead redwood 3.5ft from my house that had already broke off the top 1/3 in a windstorm. It was a dangerous situation and the team handled it carefully and courageously. They worked all day and left the space clean and in perfect condition.

I have been a customer of JC Tree experts for many years now across multiple projects and properties. They always give the best and fair price. Javier Sr. and his team are knowledgeable, highly skilled and efficient in their job. They are certified arborists and can handle any tree removal/planting projects. They used to do annual tree service for my palm trees. They have removed many trees for me that could not be saved and helped plant replacement ones. I’m yet to find someone who gives a better price for a project. They are the best and have recommended them to many of my friends.

JC Tree Experts are truly professionals. Javier, his father, and their team were able to tackle and address every item on our extensive church property, including some very tall eucalyptus and redwood trees. With 70 trees to address between several buildings and three parking lots, they were able to knock it all out within 3 days. It was truly wonderful working with them. Javier is a solid guy, not only in his ability to execute and follow through, but also in his communication and character.

They came early to the house and remove a tree for me! Great crew, very polite and informative about how long, and what the situation was for the removal. Plus they were great with clean up after. Talk to Antonio! He will help you out with any questions!

They did a great job pruning a large tree in our back yard, and also 2 in the front yard. Cleanup was done quickly and professionally, and since the yard waste trucks had already come and gone they brought their own chipper and took care of all of the trimmings. I'd highly recommend them!

Although the experience of having a tree fall in our own backyard wasn’t the greatest, the guys at L & T were able to come by the same day to take care of it. They also suggested we do some dead pruning for another one of our trees and took care of that as well. All in all they were a big help for us in pretty much a moments notice and I would recommend them for any of their tree services!
