During the recent storm unfortunately our 100+ foot redwood tree fell, crushed our shed, and damaged
two fences in my backyard. JC gave me a great estimate. His team was quick and did an excellent job in
getting the big tree out of our backyard. Everyone was professional and courteous. We are incredibly
happy with the work they did and how quickly they got the job done. We will use them again in the
future. I highly recommend JC Tree Experts to anyone.

The crews arrived on time and finished before 5pm. The job was pretty big-remove a large tree, stump grinding and prune surrounding tree limbs. Their price was competitive among the other bids and I chose them based on the communication I had with Javier. He explained clearly what they needed to do to remove the large tree effectively and safely.

After it was done, the crew cleaned the debris from our neighbor's property and ours.

I highly recommend them for the tree service job and hope to use them again soon.

Javier responded to our quote request in a few hours, came over a couple days later to scope out the project (complete removal of 2 large, mature peppercorn trees), and provided a very competitive quote in terms of costs and turnaround time. Javier provided his company’s license, bond, and workers comp documents along with the quote. We scheduled the removal for a couple weeks later and his team arrived on time as scheduled. They were professional, quick, and careful not to damage the surrounding area. They cleaned up the site and it looked like the tree was never there. It took 2 half-days (total 1 day) of work to get the job done. They did an all around amazing job. If we ever need to take a tree down, we’d definitely request his services again.

I have been using using JC Tree Experts to do the annual pruning of my trees at my home in San Jose for the last four years. I highly recommend them. Our elementary school garden club was on the hunt for free mulch to keep the weeds and burrs at bay in our large space. We are volunteer run and have no actual budget but we want to make this a nice space for the kids to visit when they want. I reached out to 5 "free delivery, free mulch" posts on fb marketplace and to be honest I thought for sure they would be scams. JC responded promptly and was easy to coordinate with for the delivery. His guy just dumped the HUGE pile right where we asked him to and we could not be happier. It is a mix of leaves, wood, and some flowers. It smells heavenly! This is surely the first delivery from them of many more.

Javier Sr. and his crew arrived on time on the date promised and his well organized crew immediately went to work under his watchful eye. After the job was completed, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean the work area (tree removal area, driveway, and street) was. In fact, it was cleaner than before they arrived. They also thoroughly cleaned the neighbor's side of any debris from the job as well.

When everything was done, we had a very nice conversation with Javier Sr., which added a personal touch. All in all, it was a great experience and if we need anymore tree work done, JC Tree Experts is definitely our go-to tree service.

Javier was going to drop a truck load of wood chips in our driveway, free of charge. The expectation was that there would be mostly wood chips, with some other yard byproduct here and there. They dumped a load that was almost fully consistent of leaves, branch trimmings, and small roots, with around 10% of usable wood chips at best. Multiple arborists told us that this is unusable, straight trash. We'd have to pay our own money to get rid of it. We contacted Javier to understand the issue, and he accused us of having the wrong expectations and not understanding the service. We asked him if they'd come pick it up, and then he went radio silence. The least he could have done was to say “no”, but he simply ghosted us. You can see in most of his 1 star reviews that, the moment there's any issue, he'll stop replying using any excuse. You better not have any problem with his services, or you'll be on your own.

Our company has been using JC Tree services for many years already and this review is a bit overdue. Javier Jr. not only a professional businessman, he practices a high level of ethnic towards his craft. He's prompts in answering all his client questions, executives the work in a timely manner, and being very reasonable in his price point.
