Eduardo & Diego arrived from "DAVEY TREE SERVICE" earlier today to prune and trim backyard trees and bushes along our fence line. They were very skilled & did a truly professional job.
We were impressed by their complete pruning & trimming work.

In life ongoing healthy relationships are in balance when we mutually show how we care for each other through our actions. I recently recommended a new client to The Davey Tree Company who became new business.

I had a follow up meeting with Alexis (arborist) in reference to my Blue Atlas Cedar had a couple of tree branches that needed attention. As we know access to branches for pruning will vary based on tree health, age and type; unique and specific site conditions like access, terrain, weather, season, timing, etc.

I value Alexis's professionalism, evaluation and call to action agreement. Also, the onsite team Cris, Sergio and Sebastian were very efficient, careful and knowledgeable.

A company stands above others when there is leadership "people"who cares for those who contribute and deliver at every interaction. I can say with confidence Davey Tree has leadership at many levels, integrity, experience and consistency.

I have been a customer of Dave Tree Services for over 12 years and my 70+ years Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' (Blue Atlas Cedar), had a broken branch, needed thinning out, located at the property line, between two houses. Salvador, Sergio and Adan did an excellent job from start to finish, their combined team experience, communication skills and professionalism delivered high standards representing well The Davey Tree.

Totally Professional Service from Beginning to End.
I was first impressed by Alexis the Arborist specialist. She was very knowledgeable and did not push any product or service on me. She just gave me her assessment of my trees and suggested ideas.

Then on the day of service I had four expert workers. First Jesus was here to spray and feed my trees. He was very good and took his time to inject around all my trees. Excellent attitude.

The tree trimming crew - Christopher, Alberto and Jesus were total professionals. Very safe and we’re willing to check with me throughout the entire trimming and Pruning process. They worked as a team. They really care about the job and how the trees would look after they finish. They were cleaning up all the leaves and limbs keeping a safe working area. They moved the bucket truck several times to reach the right places in the tree being extra careful not to damage any limbs. I felt very happy with the level of care and work that everyone did at my house.

We recently hired Davey Tree of San Jose to plant twenty five, 25 gallon Italian Cypress trees above our pool. This was a huge planting project and we couldn’t be happier! Alexis Johnson, our Davey arborist, was great. She met with us twice before our project started and stopped by several times during the week to support her team members Juan and Sergio who were planting the trees. Juan and Sergio were absolutely fantastic! They were extremely respectful of our property and our newly purchased trees. They both had a wonderful attitude and genuinely wanted to do the best job possible. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do. They truly wanted us to be satisfied and to love the end result. Thank you to Davey’s team for transforming our back yard into a beautiful, serene and private outdoor space. We would definitely hire Davey tree again for any future planting projects.

Our large palm tree needed it annual trimming especially to eliminate its seeds. We also had a Japanese Maple that succumbed to a disease they are prone to. Salvador, Adam, and Sergio did the usual great and quick job. They let us know when they arrived, confirmed what they would be doing, and after trimming the palm tree they invited me to come look at it to make sure we were satisfied. Davey Tree is now our go to for anything needed for the trees we have. Their crews are friendly and professional.

Recently, we called Davey Tree to discuss the care of our large cedar and camphor trees. Alexis, an ISA Certified Arborist, came out to the property and really took the time to review these two trees and she came up with a deep watering and fertilization plan, along with trimming the camphor first. She recommended that we remove all of the rocks from the base of that tree and replace it with mulch to allow more water to reach the roots. We did that and it is beautiful. More importantly, the tree was beautifully trimmed. This tree supplies shade to the front of the house and it was important to get it right! The cedar work had been put off until it got colder, which was the best for that tree. Today, the cedar was trimmed and I told Alexis that it was the most beautiful work that was ever done on it. I’m very sensitive to these trees. I’ve had other experiences with other companies that left me in tears. Davey tree is simply the best. I really don’t need to get “three estimates” anymore. I do want to thank Alexis for her patience and for giving us the best advice in caring for these trees.

We have used Roy and his crews for over 20 years. The reason you hire a professional Arborist is for their ability to look into the future and understand how to shape and care for your trees today so that they are healthy and looks great in the future.

They have successfully maintained six redwood trees, one large live oak, Japanese maple, white birch, and fruit trees.

Hiring someone who drives by in their pick up truck will be less expensive but in the long run, your trees will not be healthy Nor they be safe.

Like so many other things you get what you pay for. My wife and I are very happy with all of the services we have received from Davies Tree Service

When caring for large trees it really helps to have reliable arborists and tree pruning crews to provide quality annual maintenance. Over the past 25 years, I’ve had Davey Tree carefully prune trees, remove trees and stump grind. Recently, with the guidance of Grace, an arborist with Davey, her skilled tree crew, Filipe, Sebastian and Fermin, completed careful pruning of my favorite Coastal Live Oak. Grace listened and understood how I wanted it thinned, shaped, canopy lifted and surrounding floral beds protected from falling debris. On the scheduled day/time, Filipe, Sebastian and Fermin skillfully scaled through the oak carefully cutting limbs, minimizing impact on the surrounding garden and quickly transferred debris for removal. The trimmers showed expertise by periodically surveying the tree to ensure the correct limbs were selected for removal. Upon completion, the crew did an excellent cleanup of my property and adjoining city sidewalk/street of debris and sawdust from the trimmings. I could not be more pleased with how my large oak tree looks and is now prepared for winter storms. All very professional and smooth.

I contracted MJ Tree Service to cut down and remove a damaged tree and to trim another large tree. They did a great job at a good price!
