This is a great company. I asked for an estimate to trimming all the tall plants/trees facing our side street. An arborist came out and gave me an estimate. The crew -Chris, Sergio, and Adam - arrived two days later 7:45am with a cherry picker and competed the job in 2 hrs as promised. One of crew had done our first job three years earlier and could see the height we wanted above the fence line (could see the new growth areas). The communication was excellent and while the work was being done, the arborist (Alexis) came out to check on the job. This company is so professional and knows their stuff.

Grace was an experienced arborist and provided a detailed quote for date palm, queen palm and tree pruning. Sergio, Christopher and Fermin was onsite and did extra work to accommodate our request for bridge tree pruning. Job well done.

Salvador and Hector did a great job on my Fuyu persimmon and pomegranate trees. They were fast and cleaned up nicely when they finished.

Davey is the best. They know how to trim a tree the correct way are are approved by the City of San Jose. I work withThomas Martinez. He has been my contact for several years and is a pleasure to work with. He knows what needs to be done, listens to me as a customer, ensures the work is done on schedule, and is available if questions arise.

The team was efficient. Seemed to love what they do and was out in the rain working away. I didn't catch everyone's name but shout out to Omero & Sergio and Roy the Arborist.

Not to pleased. There was a tree service across the street trimming a neighbor’s tree. I asked if he could give me a guesstimate to removed a tree in my front yard. He said he couldn’t and I needed to make appointment with company just to get a price. I actually have 4 trees I want removed and shouldn’t have to schedule someone to look and give a price.

Chava, Sergio and Juan did a very good job trimming our hedges. They were professional and efficient. The health of these hedges is important and we appreciate the care.

Rigo, Salvador, and Hector did a fantastic job taking on a big overgrown oak tree. Alexis facilitated the job and made everything easy. Great team!

Best for triming Japanese Maples. Ask for Sal and his crew, Santo and Cuong. Sal is really good when delicate and artistic trimming is needed.

Eduardo and Gerarolo arrived on time and worked steadily for nearly 3 hours to lighten up our 70 plus year old Coastal Live Oak. Steady, safe, and careful work. I am completely satisfied with their work. 5.0 stars were cleary earned.

Efrain and Jesus showed up on time and went to work pruning the three magnolias of two different species. The trees had some dead wood and needing to be shaped. Their work was exceptional.

We hired Davey Tree co to take down a tree and trim 3 other large ones. The estimate was reasonable, the guys came on time and they cleaned up well afterwards. Very happy with their service .

Work was great.
However, they were about 1.5 hours late. Was given a window of 11AM - 1AM. The crew was deferred to another job, but no one called me to let me know they were running late.....I called several times around 1:30PM....finally the manager told me they were running late. Davey Tree needs to improve their management systems so customers are notified when they are running late.

The two gentle that trimmed one of my trees and removed the other one did a perfect job. I want to thank both of them for trimming and pruning one of my trees(a huge fern) because they did a beautiful job. The other fern ending up being a very tall tree which had to be removed (was cut down to the base). They did a great job. I would recommend Davey Tree to anyone.

Two of our very tall avocado trees and another struggling tree in our back yard needed some serious trimming and a lot of TLC. They had been trimmed over the years, but they were in sore need of major work. My brother recommended Davey Tree, and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to go with them. Their arborist, Alexis Johnson, came out within a couple of days of our call, patiently explained exactly what needed to be done, gave us some great options for our sickly tree, and we received our quote from Alexis within a day of her consultation. The work was scheduled according to our schedule, and she even worked with the manager of the neighboring property to enable their bucket truck to park behind our house and get the best access to our trees. Alexis was just fantastic to work with, and we highly recommend her as an arborist!

The rest of the Davey crew was also excellent. They arrived on time, were so efficient, and they even cleaned up the branches that fell into our back yard, and used their blower to leave everything exactly as it was before, including hauling away all of the wood from the chipper. Alexis was in contact with us on the day of the trimming, checking in and letting us know what was happening and when.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Their quote was pricier than the competition, but the professionalism of their staff, their arborist's expert knowledge, and just the security of knowing the job would be done right was well worth it. We only wished we had contacted them sooner. We will be using Davey from now on.

Frank, Ochoa and Alberto did a great job. They worked quickly, the trees look great, and they left the site cleaner than before they arrived. I’m very happy with their work.

Great Tree Trimming Team and customer service, friendly and answered all my questions during the process. They have a great arborist that is also a great communicator and come back in the day work is scheduled to make sure the team and customer are on page before the work begins. Davey Trees know their business, they take all the trimmings away and did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend!

Eduardo, Gerardo and Adam did a fantastic job. Showed up on time - explained what they were going to do and how - finished in a timely manner and did a great job of cleaning up. I couldn't have asked for more. They are top-notch.

We had a tree fall in our neighbor’s yard on a holiday weekend. We were stressed and I kept saying could life get any worst. But “no””, Out of this event we met and were well serviced with care and compassion by Davey. Ken and Ron went beyond what anyone could possibly have done. They took care of everything while my husband and I could breath a sigh of relief and realize “There are good people in the world”. They have our gratitude, thanks and business for life.
