The Groutsmith team arrived on time, was very efficient and delivered an excellent results. The team cleaned our granite counter tops as well as the tile floors and they look brand new. I could not have imagined the results as they exceeded my expectations. The team doing the work were a great group of people and pleasant to work with.

Colin and Josh were prompt in arriving at my house to start cleaning my shower’s and bathroom floor’s grout and resealing it. They were friendly, did a beautiful job, and even liked my dog! I will recommend The Grout Smith to my contractor friend so he can refer his clients. My contractor friend specializes in tile. I will also refer you to my friends. Very pleased!

The shower tile looked great, however for a thousand bucks you’d figure the guy would at least wipe off the fixtures. Instead there is polish or whatever “overspray” all over anything not tile. I needed to take a razor blade to the glass door. Probably won’t be using again, especially for the price and service. The salesman was great, service guy-not so much.

Although I had already cleaned everything up, the Grout Smith went above and beyond to make the situation right. They went way past what I was expecting, it was no insincere apology from the office. Thank you for the kind gesture.

Our tile looks like it was just laid, the grout looks THAT good!!!! Super impressed. We had a “cheaper “ person come in and promised to clean the grout and there was NO change. So I called Groutsmith and they did an amazing job!!! Will use them for all my grout and tile needs!!! Super communicative and punctual. I was a bit surprised on the price but after seeing what a great job they did it was well worth the cost. Thank you for the fantastic job Groutsmith!!

David and Matt did a fantastic job at our older (1960) Del Mar home. I had a few other companies try to clean our really badly stained grout, but no one did a good job until Groutsmith. They made it look brand new, cleaning it all (kitchen and bathroom) and replacing grout in a few spots where it was needed. David is such a perfectionist that he used 3 different colors of grout in different areas to make it all match exactly!

Update: it wasn’t due to cleaning there actually was a fluke issue that happened with the sealer that I could tell by the surprise on the owners face, has never happened before. They came out quick to see my concern and scheduled within a couple weeks to come and redo it completely free of charge. Mistakes happen, it’s the companies that take pride in their work and fix them that deserve your business! Will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend to anyone.

Old review: Really disappointed with the longevity of this service. We had our tile floor grout done last December. It’s been less than a year and it’s already back to looking exactly how it looked before. I followed all of their care instructions. Cut down on mopping frequency and switched to a PH neutral cleaner, but it still hasn’t held up. I’m out $1000 and my floor looks the same as it did less than a year ago.

The Groutsmith did an amazing job on our tile floors. The floors look as good as new! The team they sent out was very professional and took pride in their work. They treated our home as if it were their own and did not cut any corners. We definitely will be using The Groutsmith in the future.

The awesome experience starts out with Jan & Cheryl answering the phone whom are so pleasant to talk to. Dave and his team sealed our quartzite countertops, deep cleaned the whole downstairs tiles and grout of 20+ years and repaired a few tiles. Anyone that comes in to our home now, thinks we re-tiled our entire first floor. it looks that amazing. Thank you Groutsmith San Diego, our home looks beautiful because of you.

Our home is 22 years old. Before we bought it, it had been a rental for 10 years. The floor tile is textured and catches dirt in the ripples. It had not been well maintained. After struggling to clean both tile and grout, and using another grout service, we found Groutsmith. Grant came to give us a detailed estimate to restore the master bath and all the floor tile. He explained the process thoroughly, as well as what we could expect. Our home looks so much better! All the small missing grout areas are repaired, broken tile is replaced, chips in the granite counter top are patched. The floor looks like new. The shower glass sparkles. Grant is a craftsman, truly dedicated to his craft. He is quiet, pleasant and thorough.

We contacted Groutsmith to see if they could repair and restore several areas of original 1980's era tile in our house. The areas included countertops in a bathroom and laundry room as well as two tiled showers. The tile for the most part was really not in too bad shape but the grout was either cracked, missing or dirty in many places and had been bothering us ever since we purchased the house five years ago. The Groutsmith advisor came to our house to check out all the areas and to confirm that they could in fact do what we wanted them to do. A few weeks later, the Groutsmith technician came out to do the work and was super courteous and great with our dogs. He did a great job and all the areas they worked on now look brand new. We are so happy with the 1980's tile - it just needed TLC.

We are seriously considering having Groutsmith come back to work on additional areas of the house. Highly recommend!
