I would highly recommend the Tree Barber. They trimmed two trees just as asked. They were professional, extremely courteous and their charges were fair. Paul and Luke were easy to work with on the job.

The Tree Barber crew were very knowledgeable, fast, and left the site very clean. Our 30 year old Coral tree was mangled from years of neglect and in danger of collapsing. The tree is now stable, looks much better and will soon regain its full canopy. Thanks guys!

Used Tree Barber a few days ago to help with a tree that was a hazard to my home. Paul the owner came by, and let me tell you.. this guy knows his trees!

He was very passionate about how to care for the tree and also a way to trim it that would remove the danger to our home, but still allow us to keep the tree. Our neighbor had a similar situation and the company they used actually just cut theres down. Very glad I called Tree Barber vs the other company I was referred to.

This was the second time I’ve used Tree Barber: this time for palm trimming (13 trees) and the removal of one palm. They arrived right on time with a large crew and finished the work in three and a half hours. They worked efficiently and quickly. They are licensed, bonded, and insured. I recommend them highly and will use them again without any hesitation.

Paul is friendly and knowledgeable. His team is top notch. They covered windows and plants to avoid damage. I feel he gave a honest assessment. We had to have one tree cut back from the house for insurance to cover us. We also had two dead redwoods that needed to be removed so we had them out again for that. Funny how insurance had a problem with branches on a live tree overhanging our roof but could care less about a dead 30' tall redwood tree on a slope and 5' from the sidewalk. Go figure.

I have been using Tree Barber for several years now. I like the fact that the same crew come each year and trim the trees the way I like to see them. Almost all of my landscape is mature, 45-60 years old. The Tree Barber crew has done a terrific job with my ornamental pear tree, which used to have fire blight and encroach on the roof, but is now 100% healthy and controlled. My eugenia hedge requires a lot of care because of the lerp-psyllids, but the Tree Barber crew keeps it tidy. They have also done a great job with my jacaranda trees, my California fan palm, and my giant Bird of Paradise, and my bougainvillea. They are very careful with all of the potted plants and ornaments in the garden --moving them before the trimming, and putting them back afterward. And, they are really good about clean-up. Every time that I have had them do a job, the cost estimate was fair and there were no additional charges, and the time estimate was generous and allowed them to finish early.

We had pretty much ignored our trees for the past 8 years, and hired Paul for a consultation. He walked through and gave us detailed instructions on how to care for all the trees. He also gave us a proposal to trim the trees, which we took him up on. It was reasonably priced, and his team did a great job and cleaned up the whole area. I would highly recommend.

We can't say enough great things about Paul and his crew of workers! My husband contacted Paul for an estimate to trim up the 3 large palm trees in our yard as well as completely remove a giant (12ft tall) bird of paradise with a root system that was threatening to grow into the foundation of our home.

Paul came to our house a couple of days after contacting him about the estimate. He was on time and very professional. He was able to schedule us two days later to do all of the work, which was wonderful. His price quote for the work was very fair, and he was forthright about potential complications with removing the bird of paradise (drainage pipe and irrigation lines entwined in the root system).

Paul and his crew arrived at our house slightly early and got right to work. Everyone on his team were professional and worked hard to get the job done quickly and correctly. We were amazed with the job they did! There is no sign of the bird of paradise even being in our yard. They cut it down completely, dug out the stump, and filled in the hole including putting mulch on top of the new dirt to match the rest of our side yard. They also did not damage any of the drainage or irrigation system. Additionally, our palm trees look wonderful and we are no longer at risk of having large palm fronds fall off the tree and hit our home for a while. They left our yard looking so much better and left behind absolutely no mess, including sweeping the back patio.

Not only did they do all of this work quickly, professionally, and completely, they did it in the rain!

If you are looking for an arborist, Tree Barber is your guy. We will definitely continue to use him in the future for all of our needs.

I want to take a moment to thank Paul from this company. I have a tree that is 19 years old and is very important to me. All of a sudden I noticed an issue with the tree. I called and Paul came out the same day to inspect the tree. When he realized that he could not help me, he recommended someone he thought could. Thank you Paul for offering such wonderful customer service! Your honesty and professional manner was refreshing.

Paul Rider and The Tree Barber team have been taking care of our "tree management" for over 10 years...and that speaks volumes! They have given new live to a struggling coral tree, prevented ficus from over-running the property and planted a myriad of splendid trees in our landscape, along with the coaching to care for them. I wouldn't trust our trees to anyone else and they know there is a standing appointment in Escondido with us every year, along with additional consulting. Quite simply, they are the best!

Paul was very knowledgeable and told us about the trees on our new property. The Tree Barber crew trimmed and shape all the trees to insure they're health and aesthetic, so we can enjoy them in the future. We are very satisfied with they're service.

Paul and his crew trimmed several tress including a huge aleppo pine tree in our yard that needed pruning to decrease its weight since it was leaning to one side. Paul responded to our call and came out in 2 days and provided us with his bid including proof of insurance and coverage for all his crew. Paul also provided us with advice on the care for several of our garden plants and trees. His crew were quick and efficient and did this job in several hours. They hauled away the debris and cleaned the yard nicely. Even though the Tree Barber is not the lowest priced tree trimming company we wanted a credentialed arborist with experience. You get what you pay for and after several bids for this job we did not take any chances and went this company. I recommend them without reservation.

Well, you can have that again with Tree Barber. Luke impressed me with his honesty, integrity, and willingness to give me advice on my trees without pressure to follow through on that advice. Paul and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with our trees. We have 5 very tall Queen Palms, and 2 huge pepper trees that I don't think had ever been professionally trimmed by a trained arborist. We also had some other things cut down or removed before a new fence was to be installed. Paul and his crew were punctual, professional, cleaned up everything they trimmed, and did a fantastic job. Our trees have never looked better or happier! We will have them back in the fall to prune our citrus trees. We are very happy with their work and the price we paid! Highly recommend them!
