Great job by Black Diamond, our landscaper Sahar, and the whole team. We'd already done our backyard using Black Diamond last December and were very very happy. So we called on Sahar and team again to do our carport, front driveway, and front walk. It wasn't a large project for them, but they were very responsive and cared about it even with the smaller size.

It was super straightforward to talk through the project, drainage concerns, cost options, and get to an agreed scope and price. Then the project itself was delivered VERY efficiently by the team. While on site the whole team was professional and easy to communicate with. If I had more landscaping work I would not hesitate to use Black Diamond again.

We hired Black Diamond to do a pretty big project, and they did a very nice job. They redid our driveway, walkway, and patio. They also did landscaping work in the front and back yards, including lighting and irrigation. The quality of the work was good. Rocco was the project manager, and was highly available and responsive to our feedback. I was pretty detail-oriented, and identified a variety of little things that I wanted done a certain way, and they went down the list and took care of everything.

We recently hired Black Diamond Pavers to remodel the front of our San Bruno home, and they did an outstanding job transforming our driveway into a beautiful paver layout with sustainable plants that perfectly complement the space. The entire experience was seamless and professional. Elton Pang, the project manager, was highly communicative and detail-oriented, keeping us updated at every stage and ensuring our vision came to life.

Ruben and his team handled the majority of the labor and worked with incredible precision. Each paver was laid with care, and the thoughtfully chosen, low-maintenance greenery has truly enhanced our home’s curb appeal. The team worked efficiently, cleaned up daily, and left our property immaculate by the end of the project. Black Diamond just finished installing pavers in my patio. The work is done beautifully and professionally. I was told it would take three weeks, but it was completed in one week as everything went very smoothly! There was no hidden fees, no surprises, no conflicts. The price was very reasonable.

I have worked with Elton Pang from Black Diamond. I can't speak more highly of Elton. He is very prompt. He answered our calls and messages even in evening or weekends right away. He is super patient and accommodating. I have changed the design four times throughout the project and I have never heard any one "No". He is professional and knowledgeable. He controlled every steps of the work and shared the progress with us every day. His plan drawing was accurate and detailed, which helped me to go through the HOA review without any issue. He is local and experienced. He understands environments in this area as well as city regulations.

Elton brought a team led by Ruben. We are very satisfied by the work done by his team. His team is very detail oriented. They care every small parts of the work such as wiring lines and shaping pavers, which raises the level of perfection of their work! They were always on time and friendly.

Black Diamond provides warranty for 27 years. I had a very serious drain problem in my patio. The warranty definitely gave me a relief that Elton and his team will address the issue if I face a drain problem again. I am excitedly waiting for the rainy season this year. I will come back to leave another review after the season.

I have already recommended Elton to my friends and neighbors. I will definitely find him again if I have any more landscaping work to do.

I found Black Diamond on Google and decided to give them a shout to install artificial turf, as our lawn had been demolished by raccoons. Rocco came by the next day and over the course of the next few weeks worked with me to develop a comprehensive project plan, which included the installation of a paver stone patio to replace some dying bushes. Work began super promptly after we signed a contract and we couldn't be happier. Rocco was present, thoughtful, and very easy to get a hold of during the process. After the project was completed, Rocco followed up and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. Upon identifying some aspects of the projects that could be improved upon, the very next day someone was back at the site, making sure everything was perfect. We had an great experience working with Rocco and his crew at Black Diamond, Inc, on our landscape project. Our project involved extensively improving the grading and drainage for an unimproved side yard that flooded from rain water last winter. The project was considered small and didn't interest other firms, but Black Diamond was happy to take it on. What appealed to us was Black Diamond could handle the entire project. Rocco developed a design that incorporated French drains and underground piping for all the downspouts to direct the water to several dry wells. The design was not only practical but, with the incorporation of a paver pathway, was aesthetically pleasing. The crew worked hard digging and grading using only hand tools. They took care to protect the roots of three large redwood trees and existing decorative fencing in the project area. There were no major problems during the two week project, and our occasional comments and feedback were addressed by Rocco and his crew without delay. Upon project completion they cleaned up the site promptly. After the project a couple of screens for the surface drains were on backorder; Rocco kept us informed on their delivery and installation. We now enjoy the peace of mind of feeling prepared for future rain events. We are very happy with the finished product and would call on Rocco and Black Diamond again if another major landscaping project arises.

I worked with Rocco throughout the entire design and build process of landscaping a home I was preparing for sale. He was SO responsive, coming by the home regularly to work through designs, make sure that the project was going according to plan, and make sure that the project was going according to schedule. Working with someone that is communicative, reliable, and honest makes all the difference.

Reached out to Black Diamond a couple of years ago and Steve Turner came by for a survey and talked through some options and provided a quote. Had to put project off for awhile for some unrelated reasons but called him back a few weeks ago. Revised the plan, approved and away we went. Great experience, all star project management and Jesus Crew was fabulous. Hard working, efficient and fast which we like. Quality is outstanding. My parents hired Black Diamond to pave our front yard. They had a wonderful time working with Alan Aboyme, the Senior Project Design Specialist on the team. Alan was professional, courteous, and polite, took my father's considerations seriously, and provided exceptional communication, advice and support from start to finish. He and his team of contractors were always on time, and they did a fantastic job in turning our neglected weed-infested patch of dirt into a low-maintenance paver-surface. Alan would even come by twice a day to check in on the progress himself - that's outstanding work ethic and dedication right there! We highly recommend Black Diamond to anybody who's looking to give their property a makeover!

Steve Turner at Black Diamond made the most complete proposal for my landscaping project of the 4 companies I contacted. He understood the problems of the site: steep slopes, mostly shade, a lot of deer traffic and a dead irrigation system. He developed a plan that addressed all those issues and had some nice surprises for a competitive price. The Black Diamond crew did a great job of removing the old plants, adding new soil, planting the new plants, installing decorative rocks, and upgrading the irrigation system. Steve visited the site daily to make sure things were going smoothly and to change the design as the work progressed. Very happy with the final result
