We've used McLeran Roofing multiple times for both roof work and gutter guards and we highly recommend them. They do great work at a reasonable price are simply good people to have working on your house.

It's getting harder and harder to find quality, experienced contractors that are honest and stand by their work. I can not say enough good things about my experiences with McLeran Roofing. They are responsive and know their craft. I have used them personally and also refered them to several clients who have been happy with the work McLeran does. They are one of the best roofing companies in Marin County, if you need a new roof or work done to your roof, McLeran should be your first call.

Up-sold us on a more expensive roof we didn’t need. Cut corners and lied. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Now 5 years later our “20 year roof” is leaking.

And now they are blaming the leak from the top of the roof on the “gutters”. Do not use this company.

They did excellent work on time and in budget. One of our four church buildings is a preschool that is off only one week a year. McLeran has completely taken off and put on a new roof on two of our buildings during that critical week.

McLeren Roofing installed a roof on our house 18 years ago. They were fast and efficient and a pleasure to have around. In this week's storm a small leak appeared. They came the very next morning to fix it and sent us photos of what happened and the new repair. Can't recommend them enough!

Hired McLeran Roofing for a large roof project in 2013 that we coordinated solar panel installations and splitting into two jobs. Brian and crew did a quality job and stands by his work. We had an issue with one of the vents five years later with all the heavy rain we had this winter. He and guys were out to fix the leak, right away, no questions - and no extra charges. Honest, kind, professional, reliable, they do all my inspections for my clients who are selling their homes, as well. I would feel lost without them. McLeran is very responsive and helpful to even their former customers. McLeran Roofing fabricated and installed "crickets" to improve the rainwater flow around our skylights and to properly seal three (3) new roof-mounted attic exhaust fans installed by others. I obtained several quotes, and McLeran's quote was reasonable and the most responsive to my request.

From a laymen's perspective, the crew did a professional job, left the roof and surrounding area clean, and didn't seem to make unnecessary noise while working. I also noticed afterward that they made a quick improvement on a repair I had done earlier this year. Thank you for everything!

They did a fantastic job on our roof! We have a 3 level, steep pitched a-frame and they completed the job within 7 working days! They did everything from permits to cleaning up after themselves every day. Super fast, more affordable than our other bids and... Just super great, easy to work with. They set the standard!! :-)

There was substantial rainfall in December 2025 in Marin county and the garage ceiling started to leak on New Year’s Eve. I was stressed with getting help during a holiday, worried about water damage and having to miss work to meet with a repairman. My roof is under warranty so when I contacted McLeran Roofing for help, they responded immediately and sent Martin out who had to fight the rain and Larspur flooding and 101 shutdown to get to my home on my only day off. He was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic and flooded roads for 6 hours and Martin wouldn’t give up ( normally the drive would be 20 mins). Thankfully, he arrived safely and inspected everything and pinpointed the siding and other likely causes of the leak. The roof was not the cause of the leak. He even inspected and cleared some rain gutters giving me some helpful suggestions. The roof was replaced by the previous owner but after this positive experience, I would highly recommend their services and will recommend them to my friends and family. This company showed me the integrity and good people still exist. A big thank you to Martin, Sara and the company for their commitment to service and excellence.
