We had an excellent experience working with Vanessa and the team at Black Diamond. Our project combined artificial turf, stonework, and accent lighting, and we were extremely happy with the results!

Vanessa was our day-to-day point of contact as well as the primary designer. She was outstanding from start to finish. She modeled our design in 3D and walked us through it, then stayed in close contact well through execution, and sign-off. Her communication was fantastic as well. She was always a step ahead of me, texting updates, timelines, and answers to questions. When we ran into issues with our stone supplier, she was incredibly patient and hands-on, even personally dropping off heavy stone samples to help the project move along as quickly as possible.

The Black Diamond crew also worked quickly and efficiently, and the project would have wrapped up in just a few days if not for supplier issues mentioned above.

It's important to point out that Black Diamond is truly a full-service outfit, so you will pay a premium, but they will guide you through the entire process with a high level of professionalism. Ultimately the added cost was well worth it, especially if you don't have the time (or brain space) to handle the inevitable project hiccups that will come your way.

If you’re looking for a landscape designer who is detail-oriented, responsive, and truly sees a project through, I can’t recommend Vanessa and Black Diamond enough!

Black Diamond helped us turn our backyard into our dream space, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, their team was incredibly attentive and helpful, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We love our new backyard and are so happy with how it turned out! We went from a full tile backyard to a lawn, fire pit, gravel pathways, uplighting, the whole nine yards. Black Diamond handled every aspect beautifully.

Peter, our project manager, was the highlight of our experience. He was absolutely fantastic! Peter went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely taken care of throughout the project. His dedication, communication, and willingness to address all our questions and concerns made all the difference.

We had recently moved into a new home, so we had a lot of different contractors coming and going working on a number of different things. Of all the companies I worked with during that time, Peter and his team at Black Diamond were miles above the rest. They went so far as to correct mistakes other contractors left behind. As a woman managing a bunch of folks coming and going through our house, I can't tell you how much it meant to me to feel safe and well taken care of by Peter.

We had such a great experience with Black Diamond! We did a project involving paving stones for our driveway and improved drainage. Vanessa (project manager) and her team were very thorough, detail oriented and communicative. The work was excellent and efficiently done at a reasonable price. Many neighbors have asked me about who we used and complimented the work. We would highly recommend them to anyone and definitely will plan on using them again for our landscaping, retaining walls, and staircase needs.

We had an outstanding experience working with Nick Miller and the Black Diamond crew.
They competitively bid a well designed curved driveway, with a stairway going down one side of the yard, and a pathway across the front of the house. Great design and installation of tasteful spotlights, mushroom lights, and some custom lights in the paver patterns, and steps.
The Black Diamond team workers were fast, clean, organized, courteous, and their craftsmanship was excellent and the finished front of the house was a very custom and professional job.
They were also flexible, which is probably most important.
It now has a very modern, Tuscan look.

I’ve worked with a few landscaping companies since living in Dublin and I cannot recommend Black Diamond enough!! Jimmy was without a doubt the best project manager and designer we have ever worked with and I’ve recommended him to neighbors and family members on the peninsula to help solve all of their issues given how hard it is to find a quality landscaper. Jimmy ensured that the plan was what we had envisioned, was able to make changes when digital visions didn’t match the actual implementation (my fault), and worked closely with us the entire time. Overall we are so happy with the work Black Diamond did but can not stress enough how much we appreciate Jimmy’s forward thinking and staying on top of the project so we did not have to. Thanks for an incredible front yard!
