We used Superior to do a full demo of our front yard. There was a ton of concrete and asphalt that needed to be broken down and removed. They worked super hard and fast to get it done within the timeframe quoted. Cost also came in as quoted (no surprises). Very impressed with their service, speed, and professionalism.

Wonderful experience. Our fence needed replacing, and a tangled forest of bushes cleared. All the work was timely completed, and professionally accomplished. We have used other contractors (landscape and construction) and wish the other work might have been managed by Cody. He clearly treats his team with respect as the outcome demonstrates. Cody and crew did an amazing job cleaning up our office’s outdoor space! Everything looks perfect, and they were able to fit us in on short notice. We’ve already booked them for recurring monthly service. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Cody and his crews for several years now across both residential and commercial properties and I recommend them wholeheartedly. They are reliable, thorough and professional, week in and week out. They also take on larger jobs as needed. For example, when recent storms took out our drain pipe, Cody and his crew leapt in and executed a complicated, rush repair before the next storm hit.

Cody and his team put in French drains in on a a house that I rent. When they dug up for the drains, they put all the dirt on our brand new lawn. They did not use a tarp and all the dirt suffocated the lawn and ruined it.

Instead of replacing the damaged lawn he said he needed to get permission from the property manager to replace the lawn. This issue has nothing to do with the property
Manager and everything to do with a poorly executed job by his team.

Ultimately the property manager approved partial replacement of the lawn but now the once beautiful lawn now looks like a poorly placed puzzle.

I unfortunately cannot recommend Cody or his team for work.

A professional landscaper would put a tarp down before piling dirt on a lawn. And a professional would take responsibility for his mistakes and correct the issue.

We worked with Lindsey Zero of Silver Leaf Landscapes on a large-scale hardscaping and landscaping project for nearly six months. Being designers ourselves, we had a concept for what we wanted and shared our ideas and reference materials with Lindsey, feeling confident that he could take our vision to the next level, and he did just that.

He is truly an artist and is hands-on every step of the way, taking great care of every detail, from initial demolition and grading to professional deck building, zone-specific plantings, irrigation, and lighting, which he fabricated himself. The highlights of his work included building a boulder-and-flagstone multi-level spa deck with a gorgeous built-in bench seat, an outdoor living room area, and the most incredible outdoor shower formed from a scavenged eucalyptus tree dragged off a southern beach in Ventura County.

Lindsey’s strong points are his creative eye, his high standards of craftsmanship, his attention to even the smallest of details, and his commitment to communicating effectively. He does what he says he will do, and is punctual, always letting us know up front about potential delays or cost increases.

There were a few unavoidable setbacks and weather events that pushed out our expected finish date, but our outdoor space is beyond what we had imagined, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

When we purchased the house a year ago there was very little landscaping, and what was there did not take advantage of the potential to have useful spaces that were also beautiful and serene. Lindsey was highly recommended and, after consulting with and interviewing several companies, we felt that Lindsey best understood what we were looking for. He walked the property, spoke with us at length and asked a lot of questions as to how we hoped to use the spaces and what appealed in terms of color and design. The next step was the detailed design plan which gave us a very good idea of how he would transform our yard. Although there was a detailed plan in place before work began, Lindsey remained flexible and continually assessed things to determine if he could improve on his original ideas. He was always willing to answer questions and was open to some additional requests. One of the most impressive things is his incredibly deep skill set. Lindsey did everything himself, to a very high standard, so without the need to wait for specialized subcontractors things moved along at a steady pace. Every week Lindsey sent us a written summary of what had been accomplished and what he planned for the coming week, and of course there was daily communication which facilitated discussion of any issues or changes. We now have beautifully designed, functional spaces with many of Lindsey's special touches: a handmade pedestal, accent lighting, a tree swing, and a secluded spot that is perfect for reading, playing the guitar or just quiet reflection. In summary and simply put, Lindsey is creative, dependable, very detail oriented, extremely hard working and willing to listen. We were lucky to find him, he is a gem.

The project for us was very large and complete. Just under 3/4 of a acre. Complete planting, water and decorative rock covering. Very extensive project that was managed to a T. He listen to us and built the finished project to our expectations and more. Very good quality work.

Lindsey did a fantastic job installing a fence in my backyard. His craftsmanship is impeccable and the wood he hand picked created a beautiful horizontal fence!

Lindsey has a great eye and a great work ethic. We have done several large and small projects with his company and are enjoying them all. You will be very happy with his work.

I asked Lindsey at Silver Leaf to rebuild a granite column fountain that was at risk of tipping over. He and Taylor designed a perfect solution for the problem at a very reasonable cost. Silver Leaf was responsive, creative, and prompt. I couldn’t ask for better service and highly recommend them!
