Brian installed a new light in the bathroom and did a great job! It did not take long to install, plus he is a good guy.

James and Aaron of James Electric installed a new circuit and Nema plug for our Chevy Volt Level 2 Electric Vechicle.Charger. It required a new circuit breaker (240V AC 50amp breaker), a new NEMA plug and electrical wiring. They did an excellent job, were on time, fit the custom area perfectly and did it at a lower price than the other bids I received. I would highly recommend them for your home wiring needs.

I am in the process of converting my house to all solar with all electric appliances (Solar, HVAC & Hot Water). In my area it is VERY hard to find an electrician that is not booked out months. My HVAC company recommended James Electric when he sensed that I was about to throw in the towel. I called James and one day later he had a bid to me, and one week later he completed the work! James is very professional, courteous, and follows through with everything. I've worked with many electrical companies for different homes and can't fault the basic work performed by others.
Ive found that sometimes you like the office personnel but the individual electrician falls short of communicative and vice versa but James Electric has it all.
After purchasing a new home we discovered panel issues which can be a big undertaking; while having a new HVAC system installed one of the guys recommended James Electric.
I took a chance and called and honestly, from the first call Tammy was so knowledgeable and helpful re: codes and permits and the process; and possible future need to anticipate.
While that work is moving along they came out in a day to help me with new GFI plugs and upgrades throughout my house and garage and appropriate power sources for a heat pump.
The guys were a pleasure to have around.

James is thorough and simply the best. He works alone or with your contractors and is completely knowledgeableble for your questions. He knows the permit persons locally and new laws. You can be confident of pricing and your outcome. He is a very agreeable person and will always communicate and will follow your schedule. We could not have chosen better.

Since moving to Santa Rosa in late 2022, we have used James Electric for numerous projects at our home, including installation of an EV charger, a full relamping of our home to convert to LED, ceiling fan and spotlight installations, electrical service and panel upgrades and the installation of a backup generator.

James Electric is an honest and helpful business. We had an issue with one of our sub-panels and couldn't get any electricity to our furnace, A/C, washer and two bathrooms - meaning no A/C during the hottest week this year, no hot showers or clean clothes. After reading a number of positive reviews for James Electric, we gave them a call and told them about our situation. Rather than immediately schedule an appointment, Tammy took the time to troubleshoot the issue over the phone to see if she could save us some money. After sending some photos of the electrical panel, she immediately spotted the issue and guided us step-by-step on how to reset it - saving us hundreds of dollars. If the customer service is any indication of the work they do, I know you'll be in good hands with James Electric.
