Hodgin Son’s Tree Care did a great job! The crew was lovely and polite and cleaned up after the work. I will use them again next time.

Had two tall amber trees pruned. The trees were originally close to the same height. A day after the job I got to see the two trees from more of a distance they are now oddly different heights and the crown of the tree on the left looks like it was only lightly done leaving several branches untouched. The whole thing looks unbalanced. Too late now. They cleaned up the site well. Maybe they are more of a takedown service ?

The recent strong winds were too much for my 13-yr. old Chinese elm which had provided much appreciated shade at my rental property in NW Santa Rosa. It cracked in several places and there were heavy branches and leaves everywhere, including on my tenants' truck. My good friend recommended Jeff Lester. I was impressed that he was a certified arborist so I contacted him, hoping he could fit me in. He saw it was a job that needed immediate attention and rearranged his schedule to come out that same day to assess the damage and performed the work the very next morning. We were thrilled he was able to save the tree! Jeff and his crew were highly professional, friendly and easy to work with and his fees were reasonable. I highly recommend him and will be using him again with some other trees that need some TLC. Thank you, Jeff, for saving the day!

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job with the removal of an 80 ft. plus mature Douglas Fir growing too close to my house. They were able to take care of the stump grinding and plant a Japanese Maple in its place! I love Maples!! I was also very pleased with the trimming of my Coast Live Oak, Chinese Pistache, and Japanese Maples. They have never looked better! Thank you so much to Jeff, Joshua, Antonio, and Loren! Jeffery and his team made quick work of limbing-up several Live Oaks and separating the canopy for fire-hardening around our home. Super easy to work with and easy to talk with to get alignment on the scope of the work.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jeff Lester, certified arborist. He provided a report on very large tree that needed to be removed. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail.

First and foremost, the arborist's report was very thorough. He assessed the tree's health and overall lack of structural integrity. He also took into consideration the tree's location and the potential risks it posed to nearby structures and individuals.

Wow! Super impressed with Jeff! He showed up on time and did a fantastic job with our trees. They worked quickly and were very respectful of our yard and property.
