Northgate Tree Care did fantastic work, we had them out to trim a few trees at my home in Petaluma, as well as remove an old / nearly dead tree whose roots were getting a little too close to my patio. They did a fantastic job shaping and pruning my front sycamore tree. They were VERY fairly priced, on time, on schedule, and cleaned up everything when they were done. Aaron, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Northgate will be our go to for all things tree related! We had a tree split and were concerned about the safety of the remaining part of the tree (that conveniently leaned over our house). Aaron came out the same day to assess the safety and health of the tree, and give us an action plan. His team was completely booked but he managed to make it happen. They were able to remove the rest of the tree, grind the stump, and haul away all the debris in an organized and timely fashion. We have since had them come back to perform the much needed maintenance and grooming in the rest of the trees. Great work, awesome team, reasonable pricing… The Northgate team is the BEST!

Aaron and his and his crew arrived in the morning and had the tree down in 45 minutes. The stump was out in short order, and the area cleaned well. The team took good care with the structures and plants nearby. We will definitely recommend Northgate to our neighbors.

We’ve had Northgate Tree Care take care of our trees for several years now. They are always professional, friendly, reliable, and reasonably priced. They do careful work and leave our yard clean of all tree trimmings. Today they came out to take down a HUGE cypress tree. They even had to coax a raccoon out of its place, which they did carefully and with good humor. Afterwards they ground the very large stump. Again, our property was left tidy and the owner personally walked us through all that was completed today. We will continue to use Northgate Tree Care and highly recommend them to friends and family.

The Most Unorganized tree company in Sonoma county! Horrible tree work and they ruined my garden!! I do not recommend them.

I wasn't even sure how to explain my problem. My cat had climbed to the top of a towering bay tree and was stuck for 10 days crying all day desperately. She has climbed to the very top and way swaying on very thin limbs so high you could barely see her. Steve came the day I called to assess the situation.. The next day he arrived with his assistant, ladders, ropes and harnesses. He went up so high to get my crying kitty that I could no longer see him or my cat. We have used Arborists That Climb at our personal residences and recommended them to many clients. We call Steve “the tree whisperer.” He is extremely knowledgeable about trees and our local habitats. When he visits a property, he provides a lot more information than simply how much it will cost to do the work. I always come away with a better understanding of our trees. He has done tree removal with no impact to the surrounding area, expert tree pruning, and he helped us nurse a heritage Olive tree back to health. He does not have the large administrative staff that some companies do, but he is professional, thorough and a wealth of knowledge.

Tyler and his crew took down several large old Monterey pines that threatened our home. Professional and easy to work with, he listened to my concerns and balanced those with the safety of his crew. I will hire him again.

Tyler and his team have done a phenomenal job on all of our projects and needs. We also appreciate the fact that the customer service has matched the attention to detail. It's nice to work with folks who hone their craft and simply do the job right and do it well.

I cannot say how much I appreciate the service and quality of work completed by Tyler and his crew. I have had a nagging tree destroying the sidewalk and leaning more and more every year at a rental property. I had used him at my house previously but his knowledge and experience told me what I needed to know in a few short minutes. It was a potential hazard and needed to go. Scheduling was easy and the final bill was the exact quote.
