Red Hat plumbing has always done a fantastic job, courteous, respectful, and kind. Thomas, our technician was incredibly knowledgeable and a huge help in solving our problems. I’ve used Red Hat more than once and will continue to call back for any assistance. I need with Plumbing.

We had a great experience with Red Hat. Great communication, on time, reasonable, professional, came out to our remote location, and did a great job. They are nice and honest folks. Best experience with a plumber in the area!

Everything they have done or helped with was perfect. Main drain clog, undersink clog, gas line for barbecue and pool heater, changing out tub spout on an old pipe. All perfect and great optios given. My first choice for each of three houses.

Armando to the rescue again! We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday afternoon. Armando arrived about an hour later and took care of everything. He fully informed us of the issues, worked efficiently and with great skill. I’ve used Red Hat several times for different types of plumbing repairs and have never been disappointed in the quality, timeliness, and friendly service. Thank you!

The ONLY good thing that came from that interaction with RED HAT last night was discovering how many other plumbing companies there are out there who both value new customers, and despite five star ratings, will still go the extra mile to help someone in distress.

This is my second time reaching out to this plumbing company that claims it is “friendly“, responsive, and caring.

I called on an early eve with a small issue - very straightforward…

i wanted a quote on a simple job.
However, this company doesn’t specialize in “straightforward“ - they have a dispatcher who sounds like he doesn’t understand the business – or puts on a show of having no answers or no info –
and demanded all my info BEFORE he would even get to finding out what a quote would be.
He insisted once he had my info he could provide a quote. Turns out that wasn’t true - he would instead set up an appointment in a few days for me to get answers!

I asked a few times if anyone with RED HAT could just provide a rough quote for swapping out a disposal…
with the understanding that occasionally, upon installation, they may discover other work may need to be done. Not common, but occasionally in swapping out a disposal, one discovers a small leak somewhere else that needs to be patched first.

In any case, for a small condo with a new sink and fairly new disposal - there certainly is a range of cost in swapping out a disposal that the job could fall under - especially if one possess the proper brand new disposal!

NO OTHER company that I reached out to in the San Fernando Valley needed to string me along the way the customer service rep at RED HAT did.

SO: I gave ALL of my info (including what kind of home I had!), and then was told that a “specialist” could stop by between 10 and noon on Monday - three days away!?! – to take a look at the problem and give me an estimate!

This sounds civilized- except it was in three days, and I don’t know how the rest of folk run their lives, but not being able to use my kitchen sink for three days, especially when I was supposed to cook for friends, so obviously not a great response.

I shared this with the rep and said I would be so grateful to figure out something a bit sooner, and he said he would “have someone get back to me“ as soon as they were done with a job last night.

I naturally went on to call several other plumbers in the area, and of course no one from RED HAT bothered to call me back (I say of course as this is Round 2 if these shenanigans - this happened last year when needing a quote on a water pressure valve).

For the record, BOTH Royal Plumbing and Burpee‘s Plumbing had absolutely NO issue giving me a quote “if in fact, it’s a straightforward swap of disposal with no complications“ -

And as you can see from my five star review, Burpee’s was the one that eventually came out, within two hours, because they had SO MANY service men out in the field that night, one of them was able to stop by on the way back from another job!

THAT is excellent customer service …
And Red Hat could stand a few lessons from companies like Burpee’s in strategy and sales ..: and certainly lose the snooty, disinterested vibe in their customer service.
HONOR YOUR WORD after grilling a new customer on their info by actually CALLING BACK. Have at least someone call if no one “in charge” can -
Certainly within 24 hours! RED HAT has failed to do that now twice.

Adam : if you offer 24 hour service, yet don’t have anyone as back up for when you cannot return a customer‘s call, that’s false advertising. And at least CALL customers BACK to apologize- don’t cow out with long texts; respect others time & energy.

Again: only good thing that came from time wasted with RED HAT was discovering how many other companies there are out there who DO value customers, and (despite five star ratings!), will go the extra mile to help someone in distress.

I highly recommend Red Hat Plumbing. Alex the plumber showed up on time and explained the issue I was having with my tankless water heater. Everything is now fixed and I have hot water once again.

We needed service on our sewer pump and we were able to get a service call the same day. Armando was very polite and explained the service needed. He did a great job and even showed a video of the work completed. Thanks Armando!

Red Hat came out same day (Saturday) and took care of business! After Jaime took care of the slow drain, he gave me options for long term solutions. He was on time, polite, and made sure I understood everything he was doing, and why he was doing it. I 100% would have him at my house again (although I hope I won't have to!)

Red Hat Plumbing performed three services for me. They replaced a section of rusty gas pipe, they replaced a toilet, and they replaced a garbage disposer. The gas pipe replacement was particularly tricky, because the section of pipe went into a wall in an area that was difficult to access. All three jobs were completed expertly and for good prices.

I want to give special recognition to Jaime Martinez and his crew for the excellent work they did on the gas line piping. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork really stood out. The job was done efficiently and safely. It’s clear they take pride in their work. I truly appreciate their dedication and would gladly recommend them for any future projects.

Many years ago I was so happy when red hat plumbing repaired my leak in the ceiling that other plumbers could not do.
The repairmen was very heavy and I felt sorry for him to go on the ladder and work at the ceiling.
When he found the leak and repaired it, I could have hugged him. ( sorry I did not) Is he still working there? It was many years ago.
I would have called the company if I had another problem, but I moved into a retirement home, but never forgot how greateful I was than. A late THANK YOU :-)

Red Hat Plumbing does great work! I needed to have two toilets installed. A plumber from Red Hat Plumbing installed both toilets and did an excellent job! The Plumber sealed the toilets using wax seals. The toilets have been in use for many years now and we have not had any leakage or any other problems with them. I highly recommend Red Hat Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Red Hat plumbing filled in an old septic well and redid my plumbing, they took on a huge project, finished in under a week, cleaned up so that the place was spotless by the time they finished, and had an amazing price for it all!

The crew was incredibly helpful, informative, and kind. They work fast and did an amazing job.

The 2 plumbers showed up on time, were courteous, and left no mess. They fixed the drain quickly, and the bill was reasonable. If I ever need a plumber again I will call them.

I’ve used Red Hat on several projects? Water heater replacement and a slab leak. Both times the work was completed quickly and at a reasonable price. I have also recommended Red Hat to several of my neighbors who have also used them for the same problems.

Hands down the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a service business of any kind. Called late Saturday night around 11 pm thinking my issue was an emergency but Adam asked me some questions and told me to shut the water off. I’m glad I called Red Hat because another company I called was going to come out that evening and they had told me their emergency charge was $700 just to come out. Red Hat Plumbing had their crew out the very next day (on Sunday!) and had the leak repaired in a few hours. Pricing was reasonable and the plumbers were friendly and wore booties. Cleaned everything up like they were never even there! 10/10 over the moon!!!

Had an emergency come up with my toilet being blocked up. Called Red Hat and they immediately came out to check on my issue the same day. Within 20 minutes they managed to fix my problem and gave me a great price. Very satisfied with the service they provided and would 100% call them up again.

Adam instilled a lot of confidence in what worked needed to be done. The crew were all terrific and I'd highly recommend Red Hat to my friends and neighbors! I'm a repeat customer and this is why !
