Cleaning the whole house has become quite challenging, so I decided to use this cleaning service. I’m really glad I made this choice. The crew was polite, patient, and very thorough. BEWARE. There is a new owner who doesn't care about her customers at all! In the last month, quality has sharply decreased and the crews have been unprofessional and rude. When we called to complain about several issues we were having, the owner just said "OK" and offered zero help, zero apology, just zero.

So, we're taking our business elsewhere, after one of us has been a customer for 16 years, with many to come in the future. Enjoy your ZERO dollars from your formerly loyal customers.

Avoid these clowns at all costs, save yourself the frustration and find a company that bothers to even pretend to care about you.

They brought 4 maids over for an hour to clean my EMPTY 850sqft condo I was moving into. I pointed out what I wanted them to pay attention to, and I left for the hour. When I returned, the washer still had garbage in it, but the place looked relatively clean. The supervisor said to me along the lines of, “We only had an hour. There is only so much we can do.” YOU HAD FOUR MAIDS FOR AN EMPTY 900sqft PROPERTY. What were they even doing? The place was not dirty to begin with. It just needed to be touched up, and they failed to do the things I asked of them in the first place. After they left, I noticed there was still a lot of dust in the window sills and light fixtures that I had asked them to clean. Rip off. I wasted $200 which is the MINIMUM they charge.

I've been using The Maids for over 10 years (a decade!) to clean my house. I even kept them when we moved a few years ago. The quality of work has steadily gone downhill. The team will show up early with no notice whatsoever. They don't even empty all my trash cans, my wall decor is always leaning sideways after they've been there, and little things like light switches and door handles are not getting cleaned.

I have referred countless people to The Maids and I have been a loyal customer for a very long time. It is now under new ownership and apparently the new owner has zero interest in keeping my business. Their team showed up early (again) this week and I called to tell them this is not acceptable. You would think that your customer of 10 years would be valuable enough for an apology and maybe offer a discount or something considering I have been paying in full every 3 weeks and even add extra cleanings for holidays (150 a month for 10 years, you do the math).

I called to cancel my service today and find another company and was met with a simple, "ok". Really? Not even an "I'm sorry to hear that" or anything. I will be telling everyone I have referred to cancel their service immediately. One already has and met with the same "ok" and lack of question or apology. I'm sure they won't be missed either since apparently The Maids of Simi Valley no longer cares about their customers. They don't even want to ask why you're leaving them or if there's anything they can do to keep you. They don't want to keep you.

Pretty disappointing, to say the least.
