Foust Heating and Air installed a Bryant HVAC system in our Sonora home and did an excellent job! They went above and beyond and the installers made recommendations that enhanced the effectiveness of our new HVAC system. I would recommend Foust Heating and Air to anyone who needs an HVAC system. I just had such a bad experience with Foust Heat & Air and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They put in a new zoned system for me a couple years ago so I hired them again 3 weeks ago to fix a leak coming from the condensation from the A/C that is pooling in the garage ceiling. They came (time was "between 10-3" and they showed up just before 3) and replaced a small section of pipe and told me it was fixed but to wait 24 hours to run the system so the glue could dry and charged me $240 including a $115 service charge because I'm out of area. Fine, I knew about the service charge ahead of time, but when I tried the A/C I found that my thermostats weren't getting power so I couldn't run anything. According to my Nest app, power had been out since they left. I called them and they said they would be back the next day (again between 10-3) and I wouldn't have to pay the service fee. I called them the next day at 2 when I hadn't heard from them and was told it was a scheduling error (blamed it on the new girl) and since they only come to my area on Thursdays it would be a couple weeks before they could take a look. Finally they came back (again "between 10-3" and this time they showed up just after 3) and quickly found the problem was that they had accidentally hit a switch and turned the unit off when they left last time (it's in a dark corner of the crawlspace above my garage - hard to see and get to). Then they wanted to charge me for the service including the area service charge! I called their office to clarify and said I absolutely wasn't going to pay more because it was something they caused. The woman at their office kept insisting everything worked when I left and I must have done this somehow (half the reason I had to hire them in the first place is I can't get into the crawl space myself) and they were at least going to charge me the $115 out of area charge. I still said I refused to pay for their error and finally she said they would take it as a loss.

And the next day after running the A/C for an hour, the original leak is still there!

I give a 10 out of 5 star rating. One of the best experiences I've ever had with any installation. Customer service staff, Bonnie & Lisa were exceptionally responsive. The crew was very respectable with all the questions I had. They were at my house for two days, for a pretty good size install with three kids and two dogs running around the house. One time I saw my son sneak up and surprise Rusty and he played along with him like he was his son. Jesse always acknowledged my dogs like they were his. Shaun always answered little questions about what the mindset was on a minor task. Troy was vocal, respectful, friendly, and happy to answer all my questions. I know I'm leaving a bunch of other stuff out but I can only fit so much on a review. I'll always call Foust and will recommend them to anyone that needs HVAC services!

The Foust team did an amazing job installing our ductless units! We had to wait for equipment, but when it arrived they were prompt and so easy to work with. They left our cabin in perfect condition - we never would have known they had been there! Units work and fit exactly as they said! Thank you!

Wow! If I had known about this company earlier it would have saved me so much time and effort. Foust heating and air was recommended to me by several local companies and customers. They were extremely responsive in scheduling a technician for an urgent heating repair I needed at our retreat center. Excellent, quick and proficient service. Matt also assessed several of our other cabins and got a quick estimate to me. I am very thankful we have found a trusted and valuable HVAC local business. FOUST Heat and Air is simply amazing!!! Now I know why they were voted best heat and air company by the union Democrat and their subscribers! They installed a brand new 2 ton unit, and one my parent’s rentals.

Wow!!! Prompt, courteous, professional, and able to remove and install a brand new heat and air system faster than I’ve ever imagined. From the first time we called, to the day of installation, the office and crew were absolutely top notch! I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends family or customers.

We never should’ve tried contacting anyone else. The price was right, the install was perfect, (and I might add they did it on a rainy day) and I’ve never met a more friendly group of guys throughout my trade history. And I’ve been in construction for 40 years!

Hands-down, the best experience I’ve had in this county. I have since set up an appointment to have my unit looked at for replacement at my own home! 100% positive that I will be 100% pleased with the outcome!

I received a bid for installing a new HVAC system in my home in Sonora Hills. The price was less than I expected and I was a little hesitant but went with them.
I’ve received excellent service from Faust from start to finish.
The office manager was always helpful and answered my questions willingly before the installation and continued to be helpful through the warranty registration.
The installers were friendly, helpful and neat. The house is cool and I am totally happy with everything.
I can recommend their services without reservation.

Very happy with my experience with Foust. First time shopping for HVAC services so admittedly I called another company first and got a pretty outrageous bid. Called Foust and he came out and gave me a bid at half the rate of his competitor on a directly comparable unit and install. Wait times were extended like everything seems to be nowadays but they squeezed me in on a Saturday morning and did a great clean job on the install. Couldn’t be happier with the service they gave me and will definitely recommend to anybody in the market for any HVAC needs.

Foust HVAC always does a great job. Company has a high level of experience, quality, integrity, and sincerity. Work was completed in a timely manner and the quality of work is second to none. I had the best experience and 100% recommend calling these guys for all your HVAC needs. Everyone was so sweet, honest, helpful and professional during what was a very frustrating time for us. A very long story, but they saved the day and came out fast to give a quote and recommendations, got all equipment ordered and roofer scheduled ASAP so they could come install and repair the roof properly all at the same time (just in time for the big rain storm that came that evening). They really cared about us, took the stress off my shoulders and I am so thankful.

Foust was just as who we needed. The problem with our furnace was diagnosed quickly and a solution was recommended with options. We went with a new furnace, and it was installed timely. The installation team was well coordinated and always on the move for an efficient and fast installation. Attention to and preparation for a clean and harmless job was appreciated. I would recommend Foust HVAC for your heating and AC needs.

The technicians here are plenty nice, no shot against their character. The issue is when one technician comes out stating numerous problems, fixes none, then proceeds to say we need to order a part to fix the unit, then another technician comes out saying that part ordered was not the problem and everything is working fine but adds refrigerant anyways. Likable people atleast the ones in the field, but there is a lack of job knowledge, as with any job. I hold people to a high standard and expect quality work, as should the business owner. Disappointed in this company, I would advise another. Was recommended by a co-worker to use them, and he now knows not to recommend them anymore.

Had my Bryant mini split installed yesterday. Sean, Seth, and Tyler were amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable. The girls in the office explained the whole process and were very on top on everything. Highly recommend Foust!

Been two years since putting in a new high-efficiency furnace w/ AC and we could not be any happier. Our approximate 1100 sq ft home heats for $125 a month while PGE bill w/ AC running is always around $250 during summer time months! My new Bryant heater is a vast improvement over the old unit. The house heats up quickly and quietly. I received a fast quote, office staff were friendly, and the installers were professional and efficient completing the job in an hour and a half. Excellent friendly people. Very Happy!

We had an excellent experience with Faust HVAC. A neighbor recommended them to us, and we were thoroughly impressed with their service. I had many questions about replacing our HVAC system, and they were patient and knowledgeable in answering them. When the installation crew arrived, they were professional and addressed all my concerns about moving some of the existing ducts. They did a great job, and the area is now much more organized. I also appreciate that Matt and the team upgraded my unit when the one I ordered was damaged at the factory. They got the replacement next day and kept their timeline for the installation. Overall, Matt, Jacy, and the entire team deserve a 5-star rating for their excellent service, patience with my questions, and the efficient work of their installation crew.
