If you want a hands off remodeling project with excellent results, COR is for you. They pay attention to details and the workmanship is outstanding. The stucco and paint job was on time and gorgeous. The staff was professional and skillful. I would recommend COR if your budget permits. They are not cheap. Taking one point off for the high pricing.

COR was amazing with our stucco repair and painting project! They did great quality work, on time & budget, were very friendly, and checked in with us literally twice a day to make sure everything was going according to plan. We’ve had mixed luck with contractors in the past; lots of times a contractor starts out strong and then sort of disappears at the end of a project without finishing everything. COR was solid from start to finish, and we’ll definitely use them again in the future and refer our neighbors to them (already have actually!). These are the contractors you’re looking for :)

Overall we are happy with the process from start to finish. From the sales team to the installers - it was all smooth.

Cut Once Remodeling has performed three different services for me - Stucco repair, painting and sealing; roof replacement; and HVAC replacement. Replacing the roof involved removing and reinstalling solar panels.The work has been done extremely well and on time, considering the delays happening because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The personnel doing the work were friendly, prompt, and cleaned up the area quickly and well. All personnel I encountered from C.O.R. were competent and easy to work with. I would and have recommended them to neighbors and anyone needing house repair services.

We are very happy with the work done by COR. We asked them to come to give us an estimate on a project we had in mind. They noticed problems with our roof, documented the problems by video and convinced us to do a reroofing project. We were impressed by how well the representatives explained the process and the benefit of using a high quality material. The project was finished in two days. The crew was professional, efficient, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. Both the sales representatives and the project manager were on site both days to inspect the work. The project manager was courteous, kept us informed of the work in progress and answered all our questions. We highly recommend COR for roofing projects.

Cut Once Remodeling completed our roof and exterior coating quickly with great communication and follow up. They provided a thorough estimate with a walk-around the property, taking photos, and price breakdowns along with finance options. Cut Once Remodeling maintained a clean work area and explained each step for permitting and touch ups as needed. I would recommend using Cut Once again. They were very patient with our color options and provided samples on the exterior walls to assist our decision.

Cut Once Remodeling, CoolWall job, very satisfied, excellent job doing Coolwall, especially attention to details. Earthquake shutoff valve got tripped during prep, and Jorge reset it, but also walked around w me to make sure gas appliances all up and running. Still being surprised discovering little touches they didn't have to do.

It is true that you pay for what you get in life and the value add that COR employees provide with their dedication to detail, hard work and professionalism is extraordinary and well worth the expense. At every level of the company from the general manager, sales team, production management, lead supervisors and craftsman that do the hands on labor are an incredible team. We had our home painted in April 2020 with CoolWall process along with complicated roof repair. At every step we were excited to see the progress and high quality standard in place by everyone involved. Anytime we had a question or concern the team member involved was patient, responsive and determined to achieve our satisfaction. We were very impressed and happy to recommend COR to anyone looking to have exterior paint and roof repair.

1st project done with COR, was the coolwall project.. this is not your typical paint job. The prep work and attention to detail surpassed my expectation for this project! I will recommend this company to anyone looking to get their home fixed and up and looking great again! Thank you COR!

Cut Once Remodeling performed excellent work on a roof replacement. They were very communicative, answered any questions I had, friendly, and on site when they said they would be working. The work continued steadily without interruptions and completed quickly, which was quite appreciated. It was a larger job on a two story house and they took care of the whole house. During the work they were very careful not to destroy plants or damage anything else around the house, such as the pergola. After completing the work, they cleaned everything up and did not leave a mess in my yard. I was so pleased I further contracted with them to do an exterior coating of TexCote Cool Wall and to replace the rain gutters.

The TextCote Cool Wall installaiton went very well. They were very patient as my wife and I tried to decide on some colors. TextCote Cool Wall is a wall treatment that is supposed to last 50 years, so we were very anxious and careful about the colors we selected for our home. The colors we chose were matched exactly, even though two of them were not from the TextCote color pallette directly. It looks so nice to have an even color finish across the entire home. We never got that any of the 3 times the house was painted. The climate is so harsh even with the best of paint the house only looks good for about 5 years and then the paint fades adn starts to have 'issues'. That's why we went with the TextCote Cool Wall this time. It cotst more than painting once or twice, but not more than painting over and over and over again!

With the new roof up and the house looking beautiful, I did not have the 'heart' to put the beat up rain gutters back on the house. Cut Once Remodeling did not damage them at all, the rain gutters had been up for about 20 year and were showing wear and tear all on their own from aging. The new rain gutters are seamless and look perfect against the house. They were painted to match the color of the house and the wood fascia trim, so the rain gutters blend in perfectly. I would recommend getting the rain gutters painted to anyone having them installed. Matching the hosue colors really makes the house look niec and balanced, without the ran gutters standing out as some 'accessory' to which attention need not be drawn.

I am confident Cut Once Remodling cares about its customers and would do a good job for you as the severl they have done for me.

In a world with little customer service it was a pleasure working with C.O. R. The paint job looks great, the clean up daily was well done, and the twice daily communication made me feel confident in the work. A bit pricey but worth it.

Edit 2/22/25: Original review 1 star: COR uses aggressive sales tactics and has poor follow-up service. Initially, they pressured us to sign a contract by offering a discount only if we agreed that day. When we didn’t immediately agree, they came back with another discount if we allowed them to use our house photos for marketing, which we accepted.

While the painting itself was done reasonably well, issues arose afterward. The workers used our backyard mini-wall as a work surface and did not include painting its stucco in the original job, leaving it the old color. When I pointed this out, I was given an estimate of $1,200 to fix it but was never provided with a formal quote.

When we requested they return to prepare a contract for the remaining stucco paint job, instead of doing that, COR’s employees pressured us to replace our windows with more high-pressure sales tactics. We declined, and despite requesting a quote for just the stucco, COR decided our job was "too small" and refused to proceed unless we agreed to more services. They also claimed that if we agreed to upgrade our windows, they would paint the remaining stucco "for free."

Attempts to get an explanation from the company went unanswered. Now, we’re left with an incomplete job. I would not recommend COR based on my experience.

Update: The same day that I posted the original review, a COR representative came by my house unannounced to apologize and attempt damage control. They agreed to clean and paint the mini-walls using the paint leftover from the original job, which they did shortly thereafter. They have now posted a response claiming in part, "I wish that your request had gotten to the right ears before the review." We were told that the refusal to do such a small job, if we didn't agree to additional services, came from "the top." I do want to give them credit for coming back and painting the mini-walls, hence the upgrade to two stars.

The work was well done and on time, Workers were friendly and helpful. We liked the way our house looked after the outside re-stuccoing, coating, cement and paint was done. There was a lot of paint clean up left for us to do, however.

The team at COR was great, I received an update every morning and there was someone on the job site daily for an afternoon update. The crew at my house went above and beyond to make sure things were cleaned up at the end of the day and things were taking care of properly. Cool wall looks great and now a new roof!

Absolutely phenomenal experience with COR.

From start to finish, COR exceeded our expectations with our home’s stucco and paint project. The quality of their work was top notch. The attention to detail, the prep, and the final finish made our home look brand new.

What really stood out was their communication and professionalism. They kept us informed every step of the way, showed up when they said they would, and were incredibly respectful of our space and time. The crew was efficient, friendly, and left everything spotless when they were done. That’s not always a given on big home projects.

COR would be my first choice again without hesitation for any major home improvement project. If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and a team that truly cares, go with COR.

Another update:
It's raining, another leak, still have the previous leak, haven't been any corrections to the solar.

Update: as to COR response, since COR severely impacted the performance of the solar, will be requesting reimbursement of cost to bring solar system back into compliance with Sunrun contract.

More issues than before they began, do not recommend

When it rains I had a small leak in my ceiling. Hugo, a COR sales representative was walking the neighborhood. I told him about my leak. He said COR would be able to diagnose and repair the issue. Eric Wilson, also COR sales Representative, inspected, I showed him where the leak occurs. He recommended a reroof of the house, not the unattached garage. He claimed I had absorption leaks but believed the reroof would also correct my ceiling leak. I have a solar lease with Sunrun and was concerned. He contacted Dee at COR who claimed this was not an issue, they had previously worked with Sunrun. They had a process where COR did the work, Sunrun inspected, Sunrun charged for the inspection, and COR would reimburse the cost.

I signed the contract but within three days signed a Notice of Cancellation. I felt they were overpriced and wanted to do it correctly, have Sunrun handle the solar. They came back to my home (believe David Reyes and Eric Wilson) they lowered the price and told me they could handle the solar. The actually claimed they had already purchased the supplies. I signed again.

The workmanship seems adequate. Unfortunately, they were not thorough in cleanup. There were nails left in the driveway, resulting in a flat tire. Also, trash in my neighbor's yard. After they presumably ran a magnet over my driveway, I swept and picked up additional nails.
Checked the solar performance, it was 25% less than before they began. Sunrun inspected, they also felt there was a performance issue. As of now COR has not reimbursed for Sunrun's inspection. COR claims they made design modifications to satisfy the city. I do not believe they ran the modified plans by Sunrun, nor did I receive a copy.

It rained, the leak still exists. Contacted COR, they sent someone to diagnose. He recreated the leak with a hose and left saying he knew what the problem was. COR claims the problem is my deck and denies responsibility. I did ask why the test wasn't conducted prior to the reroof, received no response. They say the leak is beyond their capability.

My leak and my solar are beyond their capability. For $37,000 (overpriced but I expected better workmanship) I now have more issues than before they started. They shouldn't take jobs if they are beyond their ability.

The work by C.O.R. was very good. They started at 8 AM and stayed till 4 PM or longer depending on circumstances. Every day COR kept me up to date with updates and would advise me on what the game plan for the day was to be. There was also in person inspections daily. I was absolutely impressed and happy with the finished appearance.
I am very happy with the installation of the new windows on Aug 7, 2024. The job took about 6 hours and after they were finished they left the house neat and looking like it did when they first arrived. The walk through was good as they showed me everything as well with an explanation and short demo of the opening the windows. I am truly happy and satisfied.
