Jordan took a deposit from me and has not returned my phone calls since. It has been four weeks and I am filing a claim to get my deposit back. It seems like I have just been swindled.

**BEWARE!!! Jordan Preston of JP Landscaping took our $1,500 deposit and ran!! I inquired about an estimate from him because of all his 5 star reviews on yelp. He came by and gave us an estimate on our backyard landscaping project for $10,000. We agreed to the bid, he then asked for a $1,500 deposit up front which we regrettably gave. The next day he came in and did half a day of work (maybe $200-300 of labor) and never came back. After he stopped showing up for a few days I emailed him and he said he had a baby and would be back next week. Not only did he not show up again, but I never heard from him again either. I emailed him several times, called and left voicemail and text messages and zero response!! How can you bail on your customer like that after taking their money?! He still owes us over $1,000 of our deposit back which I am already filling out paperwork to take him to small claims court for. I did a lookup on him and low and behold he has an existing judgement against him as well. I did a search for “JP Landscaping” through sos.ca.gov online business database and his business doesn’t exist either. There’s no license # or anything associated with his name and he is the supposed business owner. DO NOT work with this scam artist!!!

Don''t hire Jordan. Unless you want your yard to look sloppy as hell, then maybe he's the guy for you!

In a nutshell, Jordan never drew up design plans and let his guy do whatever he wanted. The resulting job looked horrible. I emailed Jordan about this and he said he'd fix it, and they did the barest minimum. When I brought up another issue, he said it wasn't in the quote. What was the issue, you ask? Just the make the edges of the decomposed granite that they had spread out look more even. I was NOT being picky. We're moving and I just wanted the yard to look somewhat decent. It was a huge mess. I've had multiple friends and family over since this job was done and they're appalled.

I've emailed Jordan twice since they left my house and he's ignoring me. I paid an obscene amount of money for a messy, incomplete job. DO NOT HIRE JORDAN.

We had Jordan with Jp Landscaping design and install our front yard. They were prompt, constant, very knowledgeable and excellent listeners. The design was exactly what we wanted. We also had them improve our backyard and redo the irrigation. This was an excellent decision. So pleased with their workmanship.

Jordan and his company JP Landscaping did a phenomenal job on landscaping Our front yard. They were punctual professional and very responsive. He texted me answers to a couple of questions even after work hours. They were such pleasure to work with and we plan on having them work on her backyard soon. I highly recommend them

JP landscape did such a great job. They originally just did the front yard. Took a few of my ideas and totally nailed the landscaping. They did such a great job with the front yard we had them do the backyard after our pool was installed. Very responsive and very professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for landscaping service in Tracy area.

I had Jordan and Rodrigo adjust my irrigation and replace the 3 inch Irish stone in my yard. Had new Sod installed in the rear yard also! 2 days they were done. Looks fantastic.

Had Jordan and Rod complete a full sprinkler system and new inch and a half ginger on my rental property. These guys did a great job, finished on schedule, and were the most cost effective out of the bids I received. 3 day project was actually finished on time! Thanks guys

Great experience from the first call to the final cleanup. They handled the tree work safely and professionally and explained what they were doing along the way. Fast, careful, and very well organized.

We bought a house with a 50' tall enormous stone pine tree in the yard. I called out 4 tree companies to estimate, and the prices fluctuated wildly. When Scott came out he told me his crew was the best in the business. He was the only guy who could promise the tree would come out in one day. His price sat in the upper middle of the quotes. He said doing it with a crane was the safe and smart decision based on the size of the canopy and how far back it sat from the street. He was 100% right. His guys showed up at 7:30 am sharp, and had it down and ground the stump by 2:30. 60 tons of wood. They also took out and ground the stump of half a cherry tree we burned two chainsaws on, and took out some yucca bushes and a rose bush without requesting extra. This experience went according to plan, no property damage occured, and I am 100% satisfied with the outcome. These are the best tree guys in Tracy, period.
