I had previously had Irish Heating & Air replace my entire AC house system and was very happy with the entire process. Recently I had them install a mini split system in my garage shop. Ryan came out to see what exactly I needed and give me a quote. He was friendly, professional and very, very knowledgeable. A week later, the install crew showed up exactly on time. Again very friendly and professional. The work was completed the same day (even though they had to go get another unit as the one they brought has some shipping damage). I couldn't be happier with the entire process and love that my shop is now as cool as I want it to be.

Quick response, same day service and knowledgeable technicians. My mini split, duct system on a small casita unit stopped cooling and only produced fan air, so I called for service. They found refrigerant pressure was low; offered to check for leak or just filled up. Since the system is 8-9 yrs old so I opted to just filled up. They washed clean the unit and made sure it’s working after filling refrigerant. Will definitely use Irish heating & air again on future HVAC services.

This company installed an hvac system incorrectly and the roof caved in during the rain in Nov 17 2025. They are not answering emails, phone calls, texts. No accountability or responsibility, even the installer came by to apologize and yet not one call back from Ryan Murphy. I’m reporting to BBB as well as other agency. I’m an over 65 widow and was totally scammed

I had my HVAC installed in February 8th. I called Ryan and left a voice mail for him. No response. I then text message to him along with a video of the problem and I have not received a response yet. This is the first time using the heat. Seems to have an issue kicking out the heat.

I have been a faithful customer of Virginia for a few years. They have always treated me with respect. The technicians are very knowledgeable, and give me answers to all of my questions . I highly recommend this company for excellent service at a fair price!

Marcus inspected our outside unit to determine the issue with our AC not working. He was very understanding and patient when I didn’t know what he was talking about. Questions, regarding our furnace, now I know what and where that is. He even went as far as checking our ducts upstairs in the rooms that get very little air venting through. I’ve only heard good things about Virginia Mechanical, which is why I contacted them. So far, very pleased with the service provided today.

I have had Virginia Mechanical come out because we were having heating issues in regards to unit was hesitating when calling for heat. Technician found that drain line was clogged and had to clear line and performed deep clean maintenance while in the process of clearing drain. I have always had this company out for all of my heating issues and will still have them in them out in the future, I highly recommend this company for all of your heating and air conditioning need

From the moment I called into the office until the tech was finished and detailed the issues we are having. I felt a sense of professionalism, knowing they took full concern of my issues and scheduled a technician to be at my place 2 days later. Initial visit and consultation was a good price and fully understand the issues we are having with a home of this age.

They were recommended to me by a friend, and now I see why he recommended Virginia mechanical heating. I called them for a air conditioning and heating tuneup. The technician was very professional, very polite, and very thorough. He discovered that I needed a new capacitor because it was not operating at full efficiency, anymore. He replaced it, and my 25 year old air conditioner is running as good as when it was newer, especially with the heat that we’ve been experiencing lately where I live. I would highly recommend this company to all my friends and family. Marcus was a great technician and did a great job.

The annual maintenance on my heater was just completed by Virginia Mechanical. I renewed my maintenance contract and they will be back out in the spring to complete the AC maintenance. I have had this service for years. This company is the best to work with from their office staff to their technicians. They are all very knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I also like that the employees have been with the company for a long time and you know the technician coming to your home.

We have worked with Virginia Mechanical many times over the past 10 years. Their staff is always straightforward and easy to work with. I called Virginia Mechanical to fix my blank thermostats issue. Tayjion arrived on time as scheduled and had the issue fixed quickly. I’m very happy with the service for these reasons:
- I got a live person to answer my call the very first time, unlike a contractor through Home Depot, getting a comfort music played every time and my calls (3 times) were never answered.
- I was told the cost upfront and exact amount was charged after work is done.
- Professionalism. Tayjion listens to my explanation on possible cause of the issue and that helped him find the issue quickly. He’s also very friendly and takes time answering my questions.

Update 7/25/2024
I recently had an AC repair done by this company, and I couldn’t be happier with their service.

The technician Jaime was prompt and efficient. He quickly identified the issue and tested the fix, ensuring my AC works. Even though he didn’t have the necessary spare parts, he left a temporary one in place to keep my AC running during the heatwave.

What impressed me more was his follow-up. As promised he promptly replaced the temporary parts with the back-ordered one one week later, tested again to ensure it still works. He even spent a few minutes washing my AC unit using a garden hose after all is done, that was totally unexpected.

This is the second time I’ve used this company’s service in just a few months, and both experiences have been great. Different technicians, but the same satisfactory service.

Marcus was here quickly, diagnosed the problem and then checked the heating system and the price was great
