Loved the work this company did for us recently. They arrived in a very timely manner and gave us an estimate promptly. They were at our house within a few days and did a great job. Also, they cleaned up all the tree limbs and pine needles, and the yard was spotless when they left. I would highly recommend this company. Their prices are very affordable. I've hired this company for a few tree removals in recent years, in each case requiring a custom approach to my (perhaps unusual) requests. Ryan has been amazing to work with, as he's understood my needs and desires, and produced exactly what we wanted (in one case honoring a request to leave a 25' tall stump in place for wildlife habitat). The service has always been precise, quick, safely-executed, and cost-effective, and we will surely be calling them again next time we need their services!!!

We found them to be extremely competent and professional. Our property was reinspected and passed with flying colors. We were very satisfied with their communications with us, their timetable and their attention to the details of the job required by our compliance report.

I have had a cabin at Donner Lake for 6 years. I only use Ryan and Alpen Tree. Ryan is so knowledgeable and helpful. They do great work and always help me make hard decisions about maintaining my trees. I thoroughly trust Ryan. I had other estimates from another company and Ryan was so much more reasonable. Since then I don't even bother to get other estimates. Ryan is very fair and trustworthy.

We had a major deadline on other contractors working on a project. We needed more extensive work done on tree removal and stump grinding. Alpen came out twice in a days notice to come help and get the job done. So thankful. The extra work made the difference.

I have used them for a second time for lots I own in Tahoe Donner. They know the inspectors in the HOA well, and know exactly the process to coordinate with to know which trees to cut and what tasks need to be done in order to have 0 issues on the final inspection. They also worked with me to figure out a way to use the free Truckee chipping option to reduce my overall costs. It was great that they were working with me to find a solution to keep costs low and deliver excellent service. They also provided prompt response to all my inquiries and kept me up to date on the status and timeline. I highly recommend them.

Alpine Tree did an outstanding job for us! We are not present owners and they removed the dead trees and sent us photos afterward. They also fit us in to what we know was a hectic time period for them, right before the snow. So we highly recommend them. And they were very reasonably priced.

As an out of town owner in Olympic Valley, I have relied on Alpen Tree services to help with the mandatory yearly fire mitigation program. They quickly visited the property and assessed the required actions (tree removal, shrub trimming, weed abatement). Their quote was detailed and once accepted they scheduled the service. Shout out to Stacy who is very responsive to emails and phone calls. I especially appreciated the before and after photos which I could submit to the fire department to clear any problems. Ryan and co are great- Ryan is a certified arborist- so he ticks all the boxes- has helped us save trees, pass defensible space with Tahoe Donner Fire, while knowing how to trim trees in ways that pass Defensible Space and make them healthier while still looking nice. His prices are market average (and way better than Elements), he's responsive and timely. And his crew does other clean up opportunistically while they're out here.

Alpen Tree Experts are professionals from the back office to the crew. They had two full days of work and needed to cut down 5 massive trees, a bunch of other smaller ones, and prune all others. The crew showed up 7:30 am every day, worked with precision by cutting huge trees and falling them exactly where they needed to land (impressive to watch). They raked and cleaned the entire property upon completion. When they left I was surprised to see the driveway clean and no signs they were even there- they left the property spotless, cut the trees to perfections, a limb didn't so much as touch the my house or neighbors as it looked precarious. I had a long list of work to be done and they did an outstanding job. The scheduler was a fantastic communicator, dialed-in everything between the arborist visit, helped guide me with permits and responded quickly to my many requests. Highly recommend!
